Don’t encourage more mediocracy 😂 It is OK for the game to go away as the stall continues. It will save us all time People shouldn’t be paying for mediocracy.
-
Big mistake to narrow down your ask to Alex to “a design team lead.” Why would that solve anything at all? it only gives Alex the room to assign a lead and walk away from the game again. You should have asked the VIP members to stop paying if the game continues to stall.

Syndicate, INC Withdraws From Business Office in Uritithu
Ketya replied to Gaius Julius Caesar's topic in Alliance Affairs
Wow, you guys came up with a single word, when googled retrieves pnw as the top result. Alex should give an in-game award for that I remember google not retrieveing pnw when I used to google the game -
Make the mars and moon landing projects better!
Ketya replied to Oron Moron's topic in Game Suggestions
Also impacts about 80 players only so probably the least relevant for so many players. Would have been cool though! -
we should ask for the mars landing project as a prerequisite to drive SRD mad
-
Cool idea to add to the game! Thanks for putting those together.

I would suggest leaving alliance banks not being able to buy/sell in the market unchanged. It is more fun to see pirates catch individual nations with a load of resources

I love you guys but… yet again you are solving a problem that doesn’t worth solving… so much energy for worthless problems… I have 30 rose nations that can (up)declare me during this global, NONE did after the first round. You change the modifier, still no one will updeclare… the problem is the war system, not all these random improvements you are making. I still love you guys though please don’t solve worthless problems!

What war tagline of the year so far
-
Thanks for all this work!

Just can’t stop thinking how much cool new things you guys could have added to the game with all this energy 🙂 versus the tweaks that will just keep getting argued
-
It feels like the behavior change you seek needs some sort of in-game incentive (due to the downsides of that change mentioned by others here). For example, alliances choose government type. If they choose the one with those additional branches, then they get an income benefit. In exchange, they have a periodic in-game voting for those branches, and they can only declare wars if all branches click the “approve” button in-game. Even after making voting in-game and declaring wars in-game, pretty sure people can still game the process

Game Development Discussion: Superiorities Feedback
Ketya replied to Village's topic in Game Discussion
The idea to “get this right” is equivalent to “winning PnW.” The mechanics will never be right; always be biased by who is on the dev team. 90%+ of the game won’t notice the differences; no new players will notice either. New content eats all these tweaks for breakfast, every single day. -
Game Development Discussion: Superiorities Feedback
Ketya replied to Village's topic in Game Discussion
The whole superiority change seems like a complicated solution. Not sure if it is even a problem (bigger nations having larger military power). You guys (development team) seem to have lots of good energy. Would have been great to apply that to net new additions to the game versus all these edits that do not relate to 90%+ of players. -
Good changes. just remove the 2.5% discount + make the additional resource requirements for cities grow faster (like how the cash requirement grows).
-
Given it is much simpler to code projects, why don’t you guys just implement them… and what could be the worst thing if they are not useful? Nothing.
-
You are making me want to look for a new game to play I should check out lightside’s game
-
This was one good Dow video
-
You can simply make cities cost money and raws. Probably the easiest change to execute (coding-wise), doesn’t unnecessarily complicate the game and doesn’t really favor a tier over the other. If it doesn’t work, easy enough to revert too.
-
40% or whatever is the number to make both options to purchase up/aup similar based on today’s raw prices and food being at $140. The quantity of raws continue to increase even after that project got disabled for inactive nations (I think this got done). The increase in raws didn’t even slow down. It is just not raws either, money, manufactured resources, everything is going up in quantity. Frankly, I think you may want to consider things like making everything in the game more expensive (cities, projects, infra); maybe having cities and infra require raws and resources…

Project Name: Nuke something Project Requirements: None Project Cost: $250M Project Effect: Allows a second nuke to be produced everyday. …. after being on the losing side for three wars 😂 Similar idea to the above Project Name: Project Requirements: telecom satellite Project Cost: couple billions Project Effect: max commerce to reach to 150% (from 125%)

Good update! would have been even better to (1) boost advanced pirate Econ benefits a bit more (e.g. 1.2 multiplier instead of 1.1, and boosting other changes) (2) increase the raws needed for those projects. Pnw trade market doesn’t come across as elastic as that post suggests where prices change that rapidly. Kinns owns the market 😂
