  1. Can't speak to the rest of your post, but as for forums, they've switched forums several times over the years.
  2. I can confirm this bug, it's also happened to me. I put up an offer to sell 90 uranium at 4400ppu. When I tried to remove it, I got the same error message as zero. However the resources are still in my nation, and I haven't received any money, so clearly no one accepted the offer.
  3. I continue to love these. TheNG is the great artist of our time.
  4. We thought it had been established that all liquor cabinets within the confines of Westeros are the property of the Crown? Your words speak of a deep treason that cannot be abided Faroah. We order the liquor be turned over to us, or it's the Black Cells for you.
  5. That really depends on where you live though, doesn't it? There are any number of jurisdictions where non-compete clauses are very heavily restricted (most of Europe as I understand it, several US states as well, various other countries) and there are also jurisdictions where they're outright banned (California, India). Derail aside, I do agree comparing members to employees is not a particularly apt analogy. However I agree with the sentiment, and I've expressed in several situations over the years, that a furor over poaching is by and large ridiculous. Members join alliances of their own free will, and the have the right to leave for whatever reason they deem fit. If that was because another alliance said "Hey come join us", or "We'll give you cash if you join" or whatever else, it doesn't matter imho. That being said, if your member can be swayed away by the "poacher" then their loyalty wasn't particularly strong to begin with, and you're better off without them. By the same token, I wouldn't want a member who joined because he was "poached." If he wasn't loyal to his old alliance, why would you believe he'll be loyal to yours.
  6. tl;dr: Guardian and Seven Kingdoms have mutually decided to end our treaty and return to a paperless friendship. I'm sure the armchair analysts are going to start reading meaning into who posted the announcement, but it really is as simple as Cuba and I flipped a coin and it came up with my name.
  7. There were a couple battles scattered here and there. Saru and I had a nice fight, though that was back at the start of round 1. Seesawed back and forth, but in the end he came out with the upper hand.
  8. There's no love lost between Adama and I, and he corroborates my recollection that you never argued against the suggested harsher terms. tl;dr Stop lying and stfu Pinchy.
  9. Welcome TEst. Your Marionnette War revisionist history is hilarious though. We had days of discussions regarding terms, in which Rose argued strongly for being far more lenient that any of the other alliances, including TEst. The only tension in those discussions was between Rose and everyone else (particularly SK). The non-Rose parties all agreed that ending before 2 rounds when 2 rounds had been agreed to by all parties before the war, shouldn't happen. And not once in the entire discussion did anyone push for reps. That's just a flat out falsehood. I argued (along with others) for MP decom, of 3 rounds or war. And we all settled on two rounds, except for TEst, who peaced out early against BoC, with absolutely nobody from any alliance suggesting they had a problem with that decision. We all though BoC should be let off easy. It's truly amusing to me that the alliance that prides itself on going to war for no reason at all felt the need to lie in their DoW to make themselves look better. Stop trying to claim some moral high ground by suggesting you argued for leniency, when that was all Pubstomper, and by extension, Rose. I have respect for most of our opponents in this war. I have none for you. Your transparent lies are pathetic.
  10. The free citizens of Seven Kingdoms are not arguing that the views of the King and Council aren't the official views of the alliance. Nor are they arguing that they alliance as a whole shouldn't be treated with according to the views and action of the King and Council. We are a autocratic monarchy. The word of King and Council is law, and all our loyal citizens understand that. The King is Blessed and Chosen of the Seven Who Are One, and he, along with his appointed council, represent the great Seven Kingdoms of Westeros That of course in no way means that the free men of our Kingdoms lack the ability to disagree with the opinions of their government, or the actions taken by them. Our comrades are merely articulating their personal beliefs, and opinions, as is their right as free men of Westeros. They are not arguing they should be exempt from attack because their personal beliefs differ from the chosen policy of their government, they are simply clarifying their personal opinions. The men of the Seven Kingdoms are free men who may speak their own minds, not slaves yoked to the the plow. They have vowed loyalty to the Seven, and their chosen representatives on Orbis, not blind agreement in all things. tl;dr: The community is misinterpreting statements of personal opinion from free people of Westeros for pleas and whinging.
  11. I really enjoyed this Partisan. The DoW lived up to our expectations. The blessings of the Warrior upon the bankers of The Syndicate. Welcome to the glorious fray, may the Seven smile upon you now and in the future.
  12. I wasn't disputing the relationship, just the terminology. The protectorate is usually the alliance being protected, the other alliance is the protector. Just my inner pedant coming out
  13. Welcome Vanguard. Though I do quibble with your announcement; we were never your protectorate, you got that backwards.
  14. We butt heads with Ren all the time. She's our loyal opposition. Of course we vent about it. We also appreciate it, and implement her suggestions when her arguments win us over.
  15. If we're being strictly accurate, the rolling VE portion of the plan was discussed with Shellhound. Also with Rose who helped pick the date. And our other allies who knew it was going to happen. And Guardian's allies, including Vanguard (though the date may not have been shared with them as of the time of the leak. Rampage was one of the progenitors of the roll VE plan actually. He's been pushing for that since he left Syndicate.) The second phase of the my proposed plan, which concerned Rose hadn't been brought up with Guardian yet. Probably would have happened sometime this week. EDIT: Not getting into the multitude of issues between SK and Ragnar, not the place. Suffice it to say that if we had proof he'd gained unauthorized access to our forums, we'd have shared it by now, and hit him immediately after.
  16. Is bank looting still disabled? We had one of our members beige a VE nation so that we could see their bank levels. But there was no transfer from the bank at all. Even if there was nothing in the VE bank, my understanding is there should still be a transfer statement showing 0's across the board. If it is still disabled, are you ever going to turn it back on? The changelog statement from over a month ago said you were going to have it turned back on ASAP.
  17. Justice is not a protectorate of SK. Nor where they at any point when they hit Cobalt. Do keep up.
  18. Article 1: We like beer. Seven Kingdoms likes beer. Cobalt likes beer. While there is some debate over who likes beer more, there's no doubt that we've grown fond of drinking together. Article 2: Where's the women? In addition to liking beer, we also both love women (and some of us also like men). When we run out of good looking women, sometimes we might have to ransack a city or two of our enemies to marry in a relatively aggressive manner, their women. If either the Seven Kingdoms or Cobalt feel the need to go in search of more women, more beer, or both really, we reserve the right to join in and help. Article 3: Get out of my bar! In case we didn't already tell you, we like beer. We also like vodka, whiskey, bourbon, schnapps, and even hooch, frankly. Our bars are stocked! We've also got great women bartenders. If either the Seven Kingdoms or Cobalt encounter unsavory individuals defiling the women in our bars, we reserve the right to break a few kneecaps, and throw them back out into the truly cruel and leaky world. Article 4: tl;dr Seven Kingdoms and Cobalt do hereby sign this optional defense and aggression pact. We also like women and beer, not necessarily in that order. Signed for Cobalt Clique Grealind, Rob, Betulius, and the whole Clicky Clique Signed for Seven Kingdoms
  19. I did promise SRD a beautiful scroll. Hopefully he forgives me for it being delayed, they take a little time to write and make.
