Official GOONS Announcement Given the recent actions against our allies in the New Pacific Order, GOONS hereby enacts the EMCON protocol immediately. I. GOONS membership is hereby ordered to leave all Politics & War related discord channels, II. GOONS membership is hereby ordered not to post on the official Politics & War forums. III. GOONS membership is hereby ordered to leave the official Politics & War discord server. IV. GOONS will no longer announce policy changes, peace treaties, or declarations of war on the official Politics & War forums. V. GOONS no longer diplomatically recognizes alliances outside of their immediate sphere, any alliance outside of the top 50 is now available to be raided ad infinitum. VI. GOONS withdraws from any ongoing peace talks, if any alliance wishes to pursue peace with GOONS they must come to our official discord server. VII. GOONS will no longer partake in any community events, awards, etc. The actions taken against one of GOONS most trusted and valuable allies has created an environment where, as one of the most hated alliances in the game, we no longer feel welcomed in this game, nor this community. As such, we have no intention, nor desire, to interact with the community et al. This game changing action will result in a meta that will be continued beatdowns of all that oppose the old hegemon, with no real fair competitive balance between fledging alliances and well established high city count nations. GOONS has largely enjoyed this game, and worked in earnest to not only push for peace, but to change the meta of the game for future entertainment, the actions of today mean that this is no longer obtainable, as such, we have no interest in playing along.
