  1. The big 10! Double digits! Crazy to think we made it this far. What started out as a neutral tax-free group of pixelhuggers has blossomed into a… oh wait we’re still kinda the same. At least now we have more walls of text though, so at least that’s an improvement. When I joined TFP almost 7 years ago, I would’ve never thought we’d get to where we are today. I’m extremely proud and thankful of everyone that has given to the community and made TFP what it is today. TFP started out when Cromwell left FSA and created TFP all on his own with about 4 others joining him a few days later. I don’t think we actually have any of the founding members remaining in the alliance but Quichwe, Vojasker, Zangi and Johan have been with us the longest so thanks a lot for sticking with us for all this time (pls don’t go to rose). Also want to give a shoutout to all of our leaders who have impacted TFP in their own way (cue long list of people) Cromwell - Took the leap of faith and founded TFP back in the day. Wouldn’t be anywhere without him Thinkledirk - Was leader for a week or so but it was a great week (I hope) Quichwe - Led us for many years and through many turbulent times including NPOLT Hanz - Our IA guru before the time of bots and sheets Johan - The greatest loan shark to ever play the game Harry - Arguably the best leader we’ve had and one of the best to play the game. Hopefully he’s enjoying his tea and crumpets somewhere Robert Jordan - Our first real offshorer who left the game to join the front lines of the pandemic Kaz - Singlehandedly held our milcom together through many wars Cosmos - Merged over from USA and formed a great partnership with Harry in FA Vice - Founded TAP and was never a dull day with him around Nacho - Was always down to throw down no matter the circumstances Oriarrow - Held down the ship while our entire old guard left Professor - The beating heart of one of the most active communities the game has ever seen Velyni - Had big FA shoes to fill with Harry leaving and filled them very well. Also started a bit of a Vas cult Erik - Infamously cut Oasis treaties without giving 72 hours and was then relegated to econ where he revolutionized our growth system to keep us (somewhat) competitive Banksie - Our brilliant brit who became the face of TAP and revamped our server to make it all nice and pretty Aligned - Dedicated loads of time during law school to make our very own bot and made everything much, much easier Also want to give a shoutout to all the additional old retired people (that actually stay retired) who still muck about to occasionally help us out. Many thanks to Menace, Dead, Jamie, Baron, and Nopoca (R.I.P.). Lastly, I want to thank all our current and former allies for helping us make it this far and of course all of our members that keep the TFP vision alive. Glad to have made it this far and here’s to another 10. (Pls nobody hit us)

  2. My post was to point out issues with your TI comparison, and the graphs relate strictly to that. The graphs are context. But I can reiterate my point differently. Wars are not linear versus time. A damage graph would also show damage per war is much higher at round 1. I'm sorry, that by omission, I gave the impression that I was presenting a politically biased view on whether this is a Rose collapse, or that Rose should accept your side's peace terms quickly, I was not. Side note: I disagree with Kastor's post on TI. It reads to me like a shame post. I personally didn't think TI's blitz was terrible. (Rose's lack of one, was).

  3. I agree on all points but I actually think you're missing the wider scope and implications behind your thought: PnW is dying. I don't think alliances have to be big to succeed, in fact I think most of the largest alliances in this game are objectively some of the worst at this game: Rose, TI, TFP (no offense Shwin), SIN (god I hate them), etc. People are migrating in larger numbers to mass members due to logistical capacity increasing, but only for the most high-effort and well-connected players: Locutus is not a substitute for the bots that most majors have access to. TSC has been using Locutus since inception and have been extremely grateful that we have any bot at all, but it's an esoteric mess that if I hadn't been using it for years I'd have no idea what I'm looking at for even basic commands. I also believe that as PnW dies, people seek out community more than they seek out anything gameplay-related. A strikingly small number of players care about winning or losing and most just want to barely pay attention to PnW while chatting on discord. Another point worth noting too: The culture shift of the game has moved away from big personalities starting new alliances, and more into joining established groups to try and take leadership roles there. Again this is yet another bad cultural phenomena we can blame on Rose for popularizing. I'd actually say for quite awhile it's been considered taboo to not poach for talent instead of growing it, but realistically this is a game and "growing" talent is probably 1 in 10,000 players. The real "homegrown talents" are just new players who already had IRL skillsets and personality matches ready to step into leadership roles like Canbec for TKR. Finally the most important point that pushes all of this: The game mechanics have stagnated significantly without major content updates and years of the Admin denying late-game content in favor of new player catch-up mechanics, which haven't even worked to catch new people up. New people are further behind that ever, old players are more bored than ever. Large alliances that offer exclusive communities are basically the only content left in the game, and I think most "elite" alliances have inactivity issues that pushes their members/new members away.

  4. These two sides essentially fought each other twice this year. Maybe someone else can fight a war for once? Hard to see how this NAP creates boredom. Unless this game truly only revolves around the 25+ alliances in this agreement. In which case, why is anyone else still playing?

  5. I have raised this complaint before, so here goes again. I think it is inappropriate for P&W to adopt racist conventions in the colour names. When the B in black is capitalized, it can only refer to a proper name, or in the US, where P&W is based, a race. The same goes with capitalizing the W in white - Walter White, White Americans, and white paint. So I once again ask for this racist, stupid, juvenile pun to be corrected to Bigger black Knight. Let's go further this time, and suggest never capitalizing the colour in the name, or doing away with separating us by colour, and replace them with symbols or shapes. Unless it is @Alex's intention to be racist, which I do not believe to be the case...

  6. In that case, so is your face because of what you are eating.

  7. @AlexThis platform is clearly supporting racism now. Tolerance of clear racism is tacit support for it. Shame on you.
