The Argentarii Accords: Article I: Non-Aggression Both signatories will hereafter refrain from any form of hostile activity, hereafter defined as military force, subversion or espionage of any kind, against the other. Article II: Respect Signatories of this pact pledge to show only respect and good will towards each other. While this will prohibit outright verbal hostility in all its forms, it will not restrict healthy debate or productive disagreement. Article III: Mutual Defense Should either signatory be subject to an act of aggression, they are well within their rights to request military support, which the other signatory is obligated to provide unless the former signatory had become involved in a conflict via other treaties with other alliances or blocs. In such a case, the request for aid becomes voluntary. Article IV: Optional Aggression Should either signatory find it necessary to commit an act of aggression upon a third party, they must inform the other signatory at least 24 hours in advance. They may request military support from the other signatory, though this request is under no circumstances an obligation. The other signatory is also allowed to help the attacking signatory if no request for support has been requested. Article V: Aid Should either signatory come into need of aid of either political or financial aid, they may request such support as is necessary from the other signatory. It is recognized, however, that this request is in no way an obligation. Article VI: Intelligence Should vital knowledge of a political or military nature come to the attention of one signatory, they are required to share it with the other. Article VII: Cancellation Should either party wish to terminate these accords, they may do so with 72 hours notice. Once the notice period has expired, the treaty will be considered null and void. What I love most about the community is how little value most anyone even places on attempting to be remotely accurate in the stuff they spread. Like obviously everyone puts their own paint on things and wants their take on the issues to be seen as the most accurate but seeing shit like this where you just flat out lie sickens me to my stomach. I get it if you stretch the truth a little bit but every word that comes out of your mouth about me is a total lie. Camelot did not cut us. Camelot has been good to us. We will always be grateful to Camelot. I issued our 48 hour notice to them. If you don’t know something then don’t say anything man. If you want to know something then just ask. But stop spreading pure lies. You don’t need to have a opinion on every single thing and you sure as shit shouldn’t be running around spreading more lies.2 points

Alliances counter people who attack their members. I don't know why this is so baffling to you.2 points

Seeing that we have seasons already, maybe we should consider adding in random events as well. What this would be is a game-wide global modifier to a specific resource production. Example: Unexpected Dry Season: Only fires during the Summer season, -50% farm output Warm Winter: Food debuff from winter season is halved Nuclear Reactor Meltdown: Radiation increased by [nukes x 10] on every continent [Resource] Rush: [Any raw resource other than food] output increased by 10% Comet Sighted: 1% universal income bonus for 5 days Harsh Winter: Food debuff from winter is doubled etc.1 point

I'll be honest, I initially typed up a whole response about the benefits of being in a good alliance because reading this thread I could've sworn you were some newbie who didn't understand how alliances work1 point

It looks like you made a self diagnosis. I haven't experienced or seen any top 10 alliances behave like a 2020 micro. If they are doing that they wouldn't be up there. However some exceptions are up there but it isn't in the treaty sphere you listed as an example. Those alliances are run by noobs by, people that have played for 2 years or less. I encourage you to research their gov lineup.1 point

Really, NPO in Orbis is the equivalent to !@#$'s in the real world. Whats that rule called? you argue on the internet long enough someone will talk about Nazis? Basically its an easy/lazy way to make a group look bad on the OWF. It's why other people get mad when they get compared to them, because its a near universal agreement that NPO/IQ behavior during that war was the worst thing to happen in the history of this game. In the inner/outer circles I run/ran (go go retirement!) in, we never talk about them, the only time I ever see it brought up is on the OWF, and liked I referenced above, its an easy/lazy way to score political points.1 point

GOOD EVENING, ORBIS!!! Tonight’s show marked the conclusion of this year's awards. We want to thank you all for joining us through this awards process, whether as a voter or as a representative, in particular for your efforts in nominating and voting on your fellow Orbis citizens. We would also like to congratulate not only tonight’s winners, but all those who were nominated and made it through to the final vote. Without further ado, here are your 2022 Academy Awards Winners! If you missed the show, you can listen to it here. If you'd like to view each of the rounds (including all the nominations, shortlisting and counting), you can find all information on that here. We would also like to know your take on this year's process, please complete this form to help us improve for next time. As an additional note, we have decided to switch over to awards ribbons instead of in-game awards. There are a multitude of reasons that we have decided to do this, however the primary justification is because the Academy Awards are not an official game event. In previous years, awards were given out as in-game awards, similar to the anniversary and in-game event awards from the official game. We’ve been uncomfortable with this for some time but didn’t have a solution for this issue until this year. We have this year’s ribbons completed and will be sending them to the winners over the next couple days for them to add to their nation/alliance pages if they so desire. We will also be working on backtracking those for the years we’ve been doing these awards (2019 onwards), so be on the lookout for those if you’re a previous award recipient. Thanks for a great year and congratulations to all the winners! We look forward to seeing you again next year - Your 2022 Academy Awards Committee1 point

I have to wonder if you have any friends at all tbh. Playing PnW may make us all social outcasts at the end of the day but most of us still find a way to build relationships here. Many times I have had people leave the game and leave all servers or delete their discord entirely and that is that. Tbh I don't personally care but laughing at others about it and then trying to paint them as overly dramatic and being a detriment to the game is quite low. Your specific view isn't what upsets people it is your condescending attitude and consistent belittling of others alternative viewpoints. Try to be less of an asshat.1 point

I don’t know whether or not it’s an improvement but sometimes two negatives make a positive.1 point

This treaty means nothing. tS will not defend you, and if they are forced, they delete their military. someone should just proxy war tS, expose these imposters.0 points
