  1. I'll keep this short. Recently, someone brought up Hidude's city growth sheet. I noticed it's from March and wanted to update it. Feel free to ask if you have questions. I threw this together in under an hour, feel free to correct me If there is a bug in my code or an error like that. On that note, I only count taxable nations as members, i.e i don't count VMs, grays, applicants and beiged nations. I can't really be arsed to make graphs out of this data, so feel free to if you have the time. The sheet shows the past 2, 3 and 4 months, as I don't have the time to make it more detailed than that, and hidude's is only 4 months old. I'll also include a data dump of city and alliance data that I used, keep in mind its data you can get from the api. (update: apparently the forums don't allow uploading files bigger than 1mb, so if anyone wants the data dump just dm me on discord, its about 200mb) Here it is: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Tn5Xh0BGrau8s4uGA92b8o9W862u6QQzbjLlSReLyis/edit?usp=sharing code.json

  5. At the low point of the last HW war, there was still over 1 billion food in the game. if you look at the graph, now that that war is over and global radiation is down, food is starting to increase again. With that prices should start to decrease again. Personally I think it makes the game more interesting to get crazy swings in the food market due to outside influences. Its the only thing like it in the game, and to change it would be disappointing.

  7. So why not buy your guy up to 10-12 cities so he can crush the dude back? It sounds like to me, you arent willing to do what you need to do to help your members. Pay to win baby, toss in a few credits, and buy him up to 20 cities, think of the complete devastation he will do to that 4 city nation.

  8. As someone who built a top 10 alliance, if I can give you some advice it would be this. Don't ever start an alliance with just one person, you are doomed to fail. If you want to start an alliance, get a few friends together, 5-10 (the more the better) and have all of you move over at the same time, ideally these guys are all active, you guys are all on the same page and you can trust them. Also before you announce your creation and move, make sure you have a prot set up. Having a group of people to start will make it much easier to get someone to take you under your wing and help protect you. If you can, have something that separates you from the rest of the crowd, this will help you grow and be successful.

  9. Look buddy, most of us have heard this crap time and time again about people's one man alliance rising soon. And guess what? They don't exist anymore. If you can't even run a proper test server alliance, then why should anyone take you seriously to run a actual alliance? Follow what @Sir Scarfalot and @BrythonLexi are saying because unlike the rest of us, they are actually giving you good advice in good faith. This will be the first and last time I talk to you seriously. dnn

  10. I've decided not to re-create the alliance. I just don't think my nation is strong enough to actually defend others, especially not right now, so maybe when I'm stronger, but for now I'm not planning to create it again.

  12. Sheeps! I got a suggestion to make you more money!!!! MONEY!!!! A bunch of us could have sworn we could use credits to reset the 5 day timer on Domestic Policy. But looking in the donation tab, we could not find it. I suggest we add it, so it costs a credit or two to reset the domestic policy timer.

  15. My fellow comrades and listeners alike, here is a bulletin of our glorious campaigns in the name of socialism! The Fascist state of "Priyam" at its knees! A final wave in 6 hours will be enough for another victory to be claimed by our illustrious Socialist Union! The land of "Tropico" on the brink of surrender as well! "Madimatur","Pinklipas", and "The Great Dalek Empire" to surrender within 6 hours, as said by Aidan, "Or they will fall like all the others before them!" As always, our well-trained comrades meet no losses, and do not require any heavy weaponry! The sappers took care of the plundered treasuries! Long live Lenin!

  16. On this day, Saturday the 6th of August 2022, 6 low tier Camelot members came together to create The Maroon Knight's. These members agreed to certain rules 1: all Members MUST defend eachother. If a member is attacked and in your range you WILL defend them 2: all Members are created equal, Everyone here is a human no matter how big or small treat everyone with respect 3: follow Camelot rules, Pretty simple follow the rules given to you by the Camelot Government. Clarifications We are not an alliance, this is a defensive pact and purely that we are a part of Camelot If you attack a member our defensive movements should and will be considered a Counter, your member attacked us despite the warning. The current members of The Maroon Knight's are: Aldania, Hydroland, Holy Empire of England, Sigmaville, The Britannian Federation and Stars Peoples Republic. As previously mentioned if any of them are attacked we will counter. Long live Camelot

  17. This is a fairly self-explanatory suggestion that should help combat food prices that have been consistently high for many months. The current effect radiation has on food production was implemented when only the largest nations had nukes, when the game was a fraction of the size, when food was only necessary for soldiers and population, and when nuclear winters were an extremely rare event. Currently, "The amount that Food production is decreased by is equivalent to a nation's Radiation Index divided by 1000." Switching the formula from Radiation Index/1000 to RI/1500 would reduce the effect that increasingly frequent interbloc wars have on food production, and would make supposed conspiracies to shut down global food production harder to pull off. It's a much needed move that allows the games economy to better match the current political meta. I plan on writing a more comprehensive redesign of the nuclear system, with input from fellow players, at some point in the next few weeks. This is a band-aid solution of sorts to help lower food prices in the meantime.

  18. Hey all, In this last week, some newbies in my alliance had a very peculiar war happen. The opponent had purchased several cities and used them to create a larger than usual re-mil, then delete those new cities less than ten minutes later. In doing so, this allowed our opponent to have free Immense Triumphs and blockade our newbies. As one can imagine, this seems like an unintended exploit of city buying and reinforce mechanics to force a win in a war that would otherwise be trivial in the other direction. It is also largely unfair. This practice also prevents nations with higher scores from countering the quick-reinforcement that our opponent had, as the cities are deleted too quickly for a response without 24 hour surveillance. While this is economically inefficient, it basically makes a blockade impossible to enforce, especially combined with purchasing credits for buying the new cities. My suggestion is this: When a city is bought, you cannot sell that city for 120 turns (10 days), similar to the C10+ purchase timer. By adding such a deletion timer, this would prevent such quick-reinforcement exploits from happening ever again, and even the playing field when it comes to war in raiding tiers.

  19. I totally agree with you Prefontaine. I encourage you to create more of these projects that add variety to the game. Variety is the enemy of complacency and the status quo. The game should always update and change no matter what a small group of people that only visit the forums to !@#$ and complain, say.... Everything isnt this deep, go touch grass. Also give the obligatory downvote, I need ten of them to feel good today.
