'Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans.' - John Lennon A more simple post this, than others I have crafted. - I hereby step down as leader of Hogwarts and enter into a period of retirement. Kosst Amojan (Seb) will be taking over from myself as leader of the alliance. The alliance will thus be rebranding (again) to Odyssey. I want to thank all those who have mentored, helped and worked along side me for the years I have played this game. Notably: Basebond, Thomas, Issac, Harry, Luci, Wana, Vice, Boyce, Vader, Tiger, Noble, Bradley, DragonK, Niz, Kim, Seb, Morte, Artasky, Stavros, Ghost, Putmir, Ryks, Scott and Arctic to name a few.

  2. Sheeps! I got a suggestion to make you more money!!!! MONEY!!!! A bunch of us could have sworn we could use credits to reset the 5 day timer on Domestic Policy. But looking in the donation tab, we could not find it. I suggest we add it, so it costs a credit or two to reset the domestic policy timer.

  4. Definitely probably not the right place for this, but, yeah: Ground 1a. Snipers - Deal "higher critical" damage. (Utter Failure, Pyrrhic Victory, Moderate Victory, and Immense Triumph chances are increased when using this unit.) 1b. Grenadier - Deal wide spread AoE damage. (When using this unit, there is a 25-50% increase in chance to destroy the correlating improvement. Eg, Barracks/Factories, if attacking ground.) Grenadiers will have a drop down menu similar to that of Missiles, where they can focus fire on a group of improvements. Doing so invokes civilian casualties as well as infra loss. 2. Tanks 2a. Light Tank - Light Tanks are "faster", at a mind blowing 2 MAP to use during selected ground attacks. They deal less damage, and have "less armor" than their default counterpart. 2b. Medium Tank - The default tank 2c. Heavy Tank - Literally the opposite of Light Tanks, but, with a 4 MAP usage. They have an increased kill ratio, cause more infra damage, and a higher chance of destroying improvements. 2d. Artillery - 4 MAP's, the power of a full ship attack, but with the option of selecting what unit/improvement section you want. 3. Airplanes 3a. Bomber - Costs more to make than default planes, roughly double the aluminum. Uses more munitions/gasoline. Does "critical damage", and severe destruction when targeting units. (Maybe add a project, like, "Bomber Assist Squadron; when using the Bomber, a fleet of escorting ships will help reduce airborne casualties from enemy air/ground units. 4. Ships 4a. Destroyer - Causes increased losses against enemy ships. Costs less than current default ship. 4b. Cruiser - Comparable to the current default, but with less firepower. 4c. Submarine - Increased "stealth" provides far less casualties than the current default ship rate, while also providing intelligence information after every attack. Able to select units/improvements.

  5. Proposed changes: Gather intel op does not consume an offensive spy slot. Gathered intel is automatically shared with the alliance. Alliance intel can be shared with other alliances depending on the treaty. When viewing a nation for which your alliance has intel, show the extra information along with a timestamp for when it was last gathered. When attempting to perform a spy op on a nation, display success percent based on spy counts from the last gather intel op. These changes will help put other alliances on the same playing field as those who have created their own intelligence sharing platform. It will also get rid of the issue of slamming the server to calculate spy estimates. The number of spies a nation has is supposed to be a secret anyway, right? So why do we even show "Greater than 50%" or "Less than 50%" odds at all right now? Basing odds on the last gathered intel makes far more sense and would also make the Gather Intel op more useful.

  8. Hey. Sorry we're not actively aware of every single alliance that has ever existed in all NatSims. It's okay though. We can always rebrand again. I've had that one idea about calling ourselves "Green Protection Agency".

  17. Might as well say this now. Don't get too invested into the test server, it regularly gets wiped for new tournaments and what not. (People don't give a shit about the test server outside of tournaments, all you are gonna get is meme replies from normal players.)

  22. Pre, quit trying to reinvent the wheel. You know very little of the spy game so these changes do way more harm than good, the people who are supporting the changes don't know much about spying either Spy training rates are tripled. (8 can go into reserve and 4 into active or 12 can go into reserve with all spy projects. 6 can be made per day with no spy projects and you can have up to 4 of them be active duty) As I bring up every time this thread is made, if you increase the spy production then there becomes 0 purpose of spying, you cannot effeftively spy military or nukes/missiles in a global war if the rates are increased, you will be stuck continuously killing spies. It takes a lot of coordination to wipe the enemy sphere, AND still still keep them low enough to spy military daily. you're also talking about reducing the kill rates, which makes it near impossible to wipe the sphere combined with increased rates. spy sats having 3 ops instead of the % damage boost is a fairly large nerf and makes the 500m+ projects really not worth it, there's nothing wrong with spy sats, since most people who care about spies enough, have sats, or they're too small to matter. I get you're trying to balance things but in your changes there's like 8 game changing changes, how do you expect balance when many of those things will break a whole part of war. This global should be a more eye opening experience for those who normally complain about roses spying. Rose lost the spy front for the first time, we were not prepared, we ignored leaks, we didn't make sheets, we didn't warn members to be active. They spy blitzed us and we weren't able to recover, we fought and it was near flipping but we failed. Do you see our spy team complaining that it's broken? No, instead rose is still doing 250 ops per day suiciding into tanks at 50% success rates. Spies are NOT broken, people just complain because they are either too lazy to put in the effort, or have no knowledge on how spies actually work. Also one last point, if you allow rose to do a full reserve setup like you're saying, then rose will never lose a spy front, since we would.turn any defensive spy war into an offensive front when we please.
