  1. In response to recent global developments, the Clock Bloc, the Backrooms, the Haunted Mansion, the Hand of Fate, and the Johnsons will from hereon be party to a common MDP, this common treaty shall be named the Grand Coalition. An attack on one will be treated as an attack upon the whole of the Grand Coalition. This MDP shall remain in place up until whichever of the following conditions occurs first: 1. Hollywood and Celestial spheres fight each other. 2. Hollywood sphere dissolves. 3. Celestial sphere dissolves. 4. PnW no longer exists. Signed, The Grand Coalition The Clock Bloc Eclipse Cataclysm Aurora Weebunism The Backrooms The Commonwealth Carthago The Legion The Wei Bourbon Street GATO The Haunted Mansion Farkistan United Purple Nations Polaris United Socialist Nations The Federation The Johnsons The Fighting Pacifists Waffle House Dark Brotherhood The Elites The Hand of Fate Disclaimer: This is a joke because signing half-game wide MDP's is f**king stupid, you know who you are.

  8. Alright, first things first: Bold of you to assume that the answer to that little poll of yours should ever be "No". Bring it baby. Petition to have this idea implemented as well: https://forum.politicsandwar.com/index.php?/topic/33197-treaty-proposal-game-over/&do=findComment&comment=516062 Bold of you to assume any coordination is needed. BOLD OF YOU TO STATE THAT THIS IS A TROLL POST WHEN IT SHOULDN'T BE Long story short, reject peace, know only war.

  15. The whole point is that if spheres are noncombatants, then there isn't an issue with them continuing as noncombatants militarized or not. If HW is at war with celestial and BR/Clock want to do the same deal, I'd say go ahead. This doesn't change the meta that noncombatants can gain a bit more economic progress while sitting on the sidelines. I'd say there's two points where this becomes an issue: 1) The same sphere/alliance groupings continually work together that stagnates political relationships 2) The treaty is held after war beyond a doubt of protecting against a demilitarized hit If this were to happen, you might actually have a point. Until then, all of this is just empty rhetoric.

  16. Atlantis falls into the ocean once again. In 360 B.C, Plato told the story of Atlantis via the work “Timaeus and Critias”. “They created a utopian civilization,” he said. As per the myth, Atlantis was the domain of the god of the oceans, “Poseidon”. Poseidon fell in love with a mortal woman named “Kleito”, who then gave birth to 5 sets of demi-god twin boys, who were the first rulers of Atlantis. The island of Atlantis was divided between the 10 boys, with the eldest, Atlas, being given the title “King of Atlantis”, and granted control of the central hill and surrounding areas of the capital. It was here where the 10 rulers of Atlantis would come to pass judgement upon their people, and of course, to pay tribute to Poseidon. The Atlantean Empire grew much larger and more powerful, reaching as far as Egypt and Central Europe before being driven back by an Athenian led coalition of nations. When Zeus, the king of gods, saw the Atlantean’s acts, he gathered the other gods to decide a suitable punishment. It is stated that the island was beset by earthquakes and floods, causing it to sink deep to the depths of the ocean, never to be seen again. Atlantis was thus dubbed “The Lost Empire”. Until 2019, “The Lost Empire” was just a story told over thousands of years and spreading around the world, but then on 14 September, 2019 two players called “Atlan” and “Sir Oliver'' wrote the first charter of The Lost Empire, and gave it the motto “They said we were lost, Well let us be found”. Since then, TLE has been more than just a story. It has been a community, and without the people of TLE, we would not have made any of the memories in which we have been graced with whilst being a part of this community. All things that are good, must sadly come to an end. Now is the time for Atlantis to sink back into the depths of the ocean, to one day be awoken again. TL;DR: The Lost Empire falls back into the ocean (disbands as of the 4th of November). 27. I have no issues if you dont like it, I expect you not to like it, because it helps the two strongest spheres in the game, which is bad news for the rest of you. I give you guys credit because you are doing what you should do, which is make a huge deal of out it and act like its the end of the world, since you recognize this is your best/only real course of action, since militarily you aren't in a real position to take down either bloc, but if you make a big enough stink you can get some political movement here, which you may be able to use in the future.

  28. Nearly two weeks after the Cosmonauts fired on the Aurorians, their emissaries sat around a long table aboard the Aurora mothership. It had been a hard fought, uphill battle for them. After billions in damage and resources, the battered flagship of the Cosmonauts transmitted a message to the Aurorians hoping that it would be heard. It had never been the intention of the Government to drag their shipmates through a war so soon after reforming themselves. Luckily, the Second Explorer of Aurora heard the transmission and extended an invitation to discuss peace. “Sign along the dotted line and all of this can end.” In front of the diplomats sat a document listing the terms of their surrender. The document recounted the details of the initial hostilities between the groups and, upon further investigation, the Cosmonauts’ sensors appeared to have been malfunctioning and indicated a false attack. When presented with this evidence, it dawned on the Cosmonauts how brash they might have acted. As opposed to seeking out their Aurorian counterparts once more, they believed that they were being unwillingly pulled into the war by the enemies of their allies. They had unknowingly begun a conflict of their own against Aurora and Clock. The leader of the Cosmonauts, Nancho, addressed the assembly of leaders, “You have welcomed us aboard your ship after our hostilities and offered an olive branch. We have spoken with our allies and we will accept your offering.” The document was passed around the table and signed by all parties. As they departed the ship, Nancho gave a final look to the Aurorians. “You have shown that Aurora/Serpentis rule the galaxy.” TL;DR - 1) The Cosmonauts surrender to Aurora and to Serpentis. 2) The Cosmonauts admit that Aurora and Serpentis were not at fault and that the public CB we used is flawed and not valid. 3) The Cosmonauts agree that Aurora/Serpentis vs The Cosmonauts is a separate conflict and is not related to Clock vs Backroom in any sense other than the time it took place. 4) The Cosmonauts admit that Aurora and Serpentis are the superior space alliance. 5) The Cosmonauts will fly this flag for a total of 30 consecutive days. The Cosmonauts: Nancho, Polkovnik Davey, Naslednik Alice Kryze, Direktor of Extraterrestrial Contact Aurora/Serpentis: Kan, First Explorer AlexW, Second Explorer

  29. This is where I believe you and many others to be wrong. This treaty takes advantage of every aspect of a multisphere world, creates new situations (both politically and militarily) and prevents what I would argue is a far more boring option of twiddling our thumbs fully militarised waiting for clock to finish the war. The mere fact this thread has reached 14 pages long and record number of dislikes is a testimony of its entertainment value. I would put money on a DOW from HW or Celestial getting half the posts here (and even then about 3 pages would be due to CB complaints) By condemning politics that don't lead to war you are basically strangling any unique creative freedom, plus stuff like this provides new CB options for alliances like Blocc to use on either Celestial/HW in the future (or to even jump on both when they are fighting each other). Tldr: Anything that's unique is going to be 100x better than the same bullshit people pull every war, it refreshes the diplomatic scene and creates more interesting dialogue.

  31. If i'm not mistaken it was proven pretty early on in this thread that Backrooms were looking for specifically whales to join them to make it an even fight. But then again I guess it's easier to divert blame to a temporary treaty than to admit BR had any chance of winning this war. And you call the non-belligerents cowards... Ironic. How can you in one sentence praise this treaty as "fluid politics of minispheres" then call it "anti-minisphere" in the next? You need to make up your mind man, is this treaty (and Mystery-Oasis as extension) a dynamic part of mini-spheres or are they both counterproductive and damaging to the concept? I mean personally by looking at the recent events and the history certain alliances have, the consolidation of spheres isn't going to happen because of a treaty that prevents chaining wars. Because at the end of the day, said treaty only works in an environment where mini-spheres exist.

  34. I think it was pointed out by kev, but TKR chained from surfs up to hit Opus Dei in npo's last time and they stayed milled after the last ride, secretly formed HW and chained to blitz Rose in Guns & Roses. the notion that chaining is some new game breaking meta that needs to be shut down by the two biggest spheres is stupid.
