  1. Ships vs Ships seems to be too weak. At C9 at max Ships I can destroy about 12-14 ships in a naval blockade. My planes however can airstrike and wipe out 18-24 ships. The ships take up 240 gas and 360 munitions. The planes take 165 gas and munitions. Ships are stupid expensive to fight against other ships.

  4. Lucianus’ Era One fall night, in the planet of Zakuul; the crowds of Rosian’s gathered about the capital's town square. It was declaration night in Rose, a new leader would be chosen as the once former Eternal Emperor Valkorion Baratheon had chosen to no longer run this election. Many candidates had chosen to run this opportunity, many not aware that the Valkorion era would be no more; the chance to win it all was for everyone to take. The battle for the chance to be leader was tough, the people noticing the moment ahead of them, a chance for a new leader, a new future, it was all left to the candidates. The votes were in, the counting was finished, now we awaited for the palace doors to open, the future leader walking out. The crowd silenced as the doors started to open, when they had reached past midway in opening, a man appeared to walk towards the podium, a lady following to his side. The crowd seemed to be fully silent, not wishing to utter a word as the new Emperor took the podium. “You all voted for this future, a future under I, a future that will bring Rose into a new era, one that continues to grow internally. All of you formerly knew me as the Horizon Guard of MA, but today you'll all know me as Emperor Lucianus. I want you all to know that from this day forward, I'll do it all in my power to make true to my promises, and do what's best for our alliance, and it's members.” The crowd would not cheer, not because they didn't agree but weren't aware if the new found Emperor would enjoy such an act as he publicly addressed them. “As you all know, the government has not changed much. Familiar faces will return, I have High Justice Vexz to my right, our long standing High Justice will continue her efforts as my 2ic, during my era. We also have Solomon - Horizon Guard of IA, Callisto - Horizon Guard of EA, Exalts - Horizon Guard of TA, Harry - Horizon Guard of FA, who will also all be returning to their High Gov occupations. As you all know, my former position would become vacant if I had not found a replacement, but I'd like to introduce the newest addition to my cabinet, Potpie, who will be taking over my spot as Horizon Guard of MA.” This fall night had shaped up to be as grand as we all thought it to be. A new Eternal Emperor had been elected, his era seemed primed for success, his self drive and commitment were only a glimpse to the many attributes he would bring with him in his run as our Emperor. He would bring change that the people of Rose had voted him in for, a change that he promised and showed would be better for Rose. A new future awaited Rose, a future with Emperor Lucianus at the helm. The New Rose Government: Emperor: Lucianus High Justice: Vexz Horizon Guard of Foreign Affairs: Harry Flashman Horizon Guard of Military Affairs: Potpie Horizon Guard of Economic Affairs: Callisto Horizon Guard of Technological Affairs: Exalts Horizon Guard of Internal Affairs: Solomon Ben-David Tl;dr: The Rose elections have finished, Lucianus has been made the new Emperor (leader)

  5. With the war having wrapped up it's time for another thread to discuss tweaks to the war system. I know not a lot happened from the last one, game coding has had priorities elsewhere instead of new/changes in content. My hope in the next couple months some changes will be in the works. So lets talk about what needs to be done with the war system. Some of the biggest complaints I saw were spy related, and beige timer related. Both are things the Dev Team was targeted to be worked on, please give comments and concerns here. If you think ships are too strong/weak speak up. If you think soldiers are too strong/weak speak up. So on and so forth. Thanks.

  6. Tbh I think spies should be buffed and deal more damage

  7. Downvotes show experienced player bias. Ofcouse energy put into this game might seem wasted. That might be also a problem with this thread. Veterans react most and will stick up for their interest, mainly maintaining the status quo. How about a forced reset for all.nations above c35 to c15 but with a banner saying 'I had over 35 cities!'

  8. just please make us able to rebuy as soon as DC passes. Double buys are scuffed. this over any other fix or balance.

  9. make it only 2 def war slots all war end in beige bring back old ground control. rn you can just use tanks to take out the enemy airforce without any aircraft, which is just !@#$ed. air attacks are kinda useless rn. wanna kill planes? use tanks. wanna kill soldiers and tanks? use tanks. wanna kill ships, ok NOW use planes. naval battle are useless, except for 1-naval beige rush. too expensive. reduce muni/gas usage. for spies, just reduce them by 1/2. aka max spies is 25, w/cia its 30. that way its doesnt take 5 years to rebuild spy count.

  11. Things I noticed: The number of tanks killed by Soldiers are far too low. Ship vs Ship casualties are low What is airstriking money? How is better, in any sense, than ground attack? Since air superiority is vital to winning a war and planes can be destroyed far too easily, increase rebuy amount for planes. Note: The current ground attack mechanics are fine since it stops people of doing the old air only meta.

  12. Honestly maybe change up how gaining superiority in certain areas works. So instead of making it a blanket Nerf (like air control does) maybe make it so players have to choose whether they want to focus on weakening either the offensive or defensive capabilities of the enemy. For example when gaining air superiority you would pick either the enemy tanks are X% less effective in attacks or X% less effective in defense, this could help with down-declaring issues and allow people who are being dog piled to heavily fortify to punish enemies. Similarly I would say change ground superiority from the current form to something more tactical, such as increasing the operation costs of air attacks (for muni/fuel) by X% and adding a debuff to the overall effectiveness of the planes. Alternatively make it so that while someone has ground control you can only recruit half as many planes (to simulate the captured airports and delayed production lines). Naval battles should be a lot more decisive, rarely when two fleets engaged in battle did they both come out unscathed. Essentially I want to see the system evolve to where players need to think a little more long term/strategically rather than the immediate "Haha Tanks go BOOM" or "HaHa Planes go BRRRRRRR"

  13. Disclaimer: This post is intellectual property of DNN. Is everyone adequately tired of the political climate in PnW? Of the constant dogpiling? The paranoia? The hypocrisy? The stagnation? There hasn't been an existential NPO threat anymore for quite a while, shouldn't we make an effort to finally change the metagame for the better? I for one am tired of just talking about it instead of actually stepping up and doing something about it. “Maybe the road you travel doesn’t give you the beautiful fate you have always dreamed of. 18. Yeah, okay, no. Much as I am not much a fan of NAPs, we all needed a $&@%ing break there, after 9 months of war and the game as a whole needed to recover. NAPs were signed before NPOLT too, you know. An extraordinary circumstance that I hope to God is never repeated is not the cause of what you're proclaiming when it's been something that's been prevalent for years and people have been complaining about since at least ToT.

  23. Change score ranges for wars because some down declares are just ridiculously unfair

  24. Id say make a progresive weakening of military. For example, above 300k soldiers make them less effective, 400k even less effective, and so on and so forth. This would break the importance of supernations with c35+ and would give newer players a bigger impact on orbis. Same with score ofc so bigger nations can be targeted easier.
