**Warning - This post is about Black Skies. Do not read this if you don't care.** Black Skies is stuck between a rock and a hard place. And the entire thing smells. After being pulled into the Hollywood/Bollywood war (of which we weren't even a part of Hollywood after TLE told us to leave) we fought for a good 3/4 rounds and then found peace. Many of you might not even know about that as instead of getting a post about it we were placed as a reply in United Ummah's thread. Focusing on our rebuild we were then informed that RIE/DR had blitzed both 770 and Sanctuary. This led us to a problem. While we were not hit in the strike we knew, at some point we'd have to get involved to support our allies. We ramped up our MMR to be able to recruit at a faster pace. After all Carthago already beat the shit out of us by down declaring (C28s hitting a C20 hurts) and so most of our folks were zeroed across the board. Now after beginning to try and even reach where we were at peacetime (3/0/5/1 however some stayed at 5/2/5/2 due to a Rose applicant that hit two of us) we got slammed by OWR and Carthago. Please note this was when the alliance had just passed 50% aircraft (Credit to Sval for providing the image): We are not a threat to anyone. Period. Most alliances would be very happy in just smacking us because they can. However at a point in time where our Military wasn't even at our peacetime MMR we got smacked again. After discussions with OWR Sval responded: However wars then were declared on people that were following the MMR like iuma who was following the 3/0/5/1 Peacetime MMR (he's since switched to 5/0/5/1 after being hit). Boom our head of FA went to Daveth about the situation. Surely Nexus/Bollywood would allow ourselves to defend an ally or at the very least not attack people following the MMR...... So this is where we stand. Nexus won't back down unless we negotiate new terms to assist our allies. Nexus also isn't willing to negotiate terms to help our allies. So (and this is going to be the strangest and worst DoW I've ever seen)....... Tl;DR - Black Skies declares war to help their allies, Sanctuary and Lazarus 770, against RIE and Dawn Rising. Black Skies will not be countering, declaring new wars or committing spy-ops for damage against NEXUS/Bollywood membership as they continue to down declare on us and wipe us to 0 again. Sanctuary and Lazarus 770 will not be countering or assisting Black Skies members being hit by NEXUS/Bollywood members. Alright Minesome...This is probably AlanFall 2.0

imma be brutally honest here and probably earn myself some downvotes: even if there was some better communication, ppl love to hate on BS so much that they'd probably hit them and not care regardless. That and CTO will probably hit every organism that breathes at this point when they can't find ppl to statpad off of in the global. I do think that a lot of issues that befall BS originate from some mixture of unfounded pride and defeatism translating into self-fulfilling prophecy, and that their choice of allies is, let's just say... questionable, but I will at the least not hesitate to give props that they are at least willing to defend their allies, which most alliances honestly cannot say.

Sorry, misspoke. Most alliances at that range are not willing to help their allies. tO being slow with CC, all of Johnsons, most of Holy Sea, CoA with Alpha/Polaris, etc. Plus plenty of alliances that leave allies to deal with their own wars and so on, even more so when they know they'd take a lot of damages or lose. This is true, but -Noobs who have never dealt with BS before like to bandwagon on hate and blow it way out of proportion to look cool or something, idk -By their own admission CTO hit BS initially because they forgot BS got kicked out by TLE, so this never should've happened in the first place -idk why there needs to be a new negotiated agreement when allowing them to defend their allies would take like five seconds and two Discord messages Then again I don't do FA either so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If I remember correctly the treaty stated Black Skies had to stay on 3/05/1 correct? That would include all members. So given that any of your members went above that is a direct violation of the surrender? Innit? One thing to learn is that it's very hard to negotiate with macros when you have zero leverage to bring to the table. This was inevitable and you know it. Running from it is very dishonorable.

I don't really talk alot on the forums, but i do want to correct you that you are simply "OP" because of the amount of whales/megawhales you guys have. It doesn't necessarily mean you are a good fighter either, you simply know how to click the "dogfight" button and thats all there is to it. This game doesn't require you to do alot when you have easy mode on and i don't blame you for it. As for why bollywood declared on you guys is quite simple honestly. Rosesphere clearly wanted revenge on you guys for dogpiling them in guns & roses. While you might not call it a dogpile because mystery and oasis jumped in, what would of had happened if they didn't? your intention was clear as daylight, to make it a dogpile against rose. Our last "Hail Mary". Members on the MMR 3/0/5/1 that physically can't fight will remain in Black Skies. However since Nexus just hit anyone that was within range regardless of MMR then it's clear that this desperate move didn't work.

Fully agree in the changes here, especially with making aggression more costly per-attack. It's often the case in games with thematically army-scale combat that the attacker should face 3:1 losses or similar for a good shot at victory.

It's funny that you mention 20 days. That's about how long you lasted in NPOLT before giving up for the next 9 months only to show up at the end begging for a handout. I've seen newbs with less than 10 cities and no war chest put in a better effort than that 🤣 That being said however, I'm happy you are probably getting a win this war. It will be good for your confidence and I don't think anyone could survive another salty tantrum like we had to endure during the last war from yourself. I'm glad to see you pulled it together 👍
