Hello all, It’s been some time since I last posted on Forums and as I write this I can’t help but feel some bittersweet affection for all the time I’ve spent with this community and this alliance. Effective immediately I will be resigning my post as Commander of the Stratosphere Marine Corps leaving Jacob Apple as its Commander. (sappy emotional bit) Allies, enemies, friends and rivals. There’s never been a moment where I didn’t enjoy time spent on this online web nation/alliance/bloc building game. With my first child on the way it’s come to the point where priority takes precedence and the rubber meets the road at this stage in my new life, and really it feels new. Over a year ago now I founded The Stratosphere and met incredible allies and comrades, the adventures, debates, and conflicts we shared the experience of will always be a fond memory. I dedicate all efforts I’ve made to the members of SMC and it’s govs. All I did, was for the small community we built together. Late nights drawing battle plans, explaining PnW geopolitics to my indulging fiancé. Now I must focus on the next step of my life. forever yours, Former SMC Commander, Dave III
