In the modern world, naval piracy is only a problem in select geographic areas. However, online piracy is omnipresent and hackermans are the greatest threat to the modern Boomer using "Password" as their password. To reflect a little bit of realism and add some flavour, I would like to propose a new spy operation: "Hack Bank Accounts" - Steal 1-5% [RNG of course] of your opponent's cash on hand. Pretty simple but I think it would add some cool potential flavor.

The issue is this, while most of us grumpy whales do keep most of our money in the bank, we do have to withdraw it from the bank when we pick up cities. Now I know people have bots for everything, and I would think it may not be too hard to make a bot that traces bank transactions to help people determine the best possible targets to spy attack with this. You say, why would anyone do this? well my next city costs 3 billion dollars, so if someone were to spy my cash it could yoink up to 150 million dollars from me if they time it right, during the time between withdrawing it and buying a new one. Now that I think about it, I believe Borg's bot can already estimate a person's warchest and its surprisingly accurate. If put to its full potential, you could have people making 50-200 million dollars a day just spying cash. That is a huge amount of cash for an op that costs around 1 million bucks to do, and would certainly be worthwhile for someone to develop a bot to help people target this.

I am in the middle of europe and i wanted to adjust my nations borders since i have alot more land area then before now, but it says it will change my continent from "Europe to Europe" and consume a location change + destroy all my resource imrpovements except for farms. Anyone know how to fix this? Cuz im not keen to have to rebuild/rebuy every single of my reosurce imrpovements. Edit: it even shows this when i don't change my borders and click on "save/recalculate map"

I like the idea at its heart, but I do think there would need to be balance applied for the reasons @Sweeeeet Ronny D mentioned - the possibility of bots being used to snipe city build funds. Much like nukes and missiles, maybe having a small time limit for "safe" money (Say, a turn or two - not as OP as a day to where you can just deposit and withdraw all your money daily to keep it immune) so that city builds and projects are kept largely safe. Targeting alliance banks would be a bit overpowered imho (ex. a small, newbie nation being able to spy some amount of a huge alliance warchest). For that problem, I would recommend entirely different changes to how offshoes work (Not for this thread, but TL;DR changing alliances shouldn't prevent looting alliance warchests for active members).

I took a quick break from this game, what do I see when I log in to end my VM? Well I see this: I think it is fair to pause them aging when you are in VM. Even more importantly, i think it will make sure there is more mechanical consistency, and who doesn't like mechanical consistency. That's all folks.

Update: as of right now, there are no members outside of VM in Corporate Union. Everyone has either hit VM, left the alliance, or been kicked / applicanted by the former CU government member TheSinner / Covenant.

This just in Alex the creator of Politics and War is a cheater! That's right folks we have found and EXPOSED his secondary account!!! The account: "Angus". He is trying to hide behind a different username in an attempt to cover his tracks but guess what? That won't be enough. Alex has been caught. The account: "Angus" is a confirmed fraud account that has been created to hide the identity of someone who is creating new accounts to engage in "suspicious behavior" at this and other forums. This will no longer be a place for users that engage in this sort of activity. As for the account, I will be reaching out to have it closed down. Please be aware that we may find more of these accounts and will be closing them as we find them. For reference: this is one of the first times I have found and reported these sort of activities, I will be watching closely for more of this sort of behavior in the future. It's true - I did create these accounts with the intention of playing the game on mobile for a bit to see what was working well and what wasn't, improve the mobile UI, and learn more about other ways to improve the new player experience (e.g. tutorial.) My intention was to cover up my multis so that I could at least play for a few weeks and see how it went, but I did a poor job with my first once and then I thought I patched it so I wouldn't show up on the same unique ID for the second account, but again there must have been a bug there. Nothing particularly nefarious, this is something I've done over the years and IMO has led to a lot of quality of life improvements in the game. In fact, one of the most common criticisms I've gotten is that because I don't play the game I tend to make bad decisions in developing it. Other than my main multi account though, Kastor, there's really nothing remarkable to see here. I just went through the tutorial and objectives twice on my phone in the app version of the game.

Not a bannable offense because the human is always the one accepting the trade. The bot only notifies them of the trade so that they can get manually accepted, and this has been verified as legal by Sheepy for years and years.

That was literally the experiment i ran, I went to a website and had it flip a coin 200 times, and within those two hundred flips I found two outliers that are statistically unlikely to happen. I didn't even look thru the entire sample either, I just scrolled around till I found where either heads or tails went on a streak. So like i stated before if you keep using missiles and nukes, you will eventually start to move back to the mean. Also looks like Sheeps came in with the mic drop and confirmed what I am trying to explain to you. (Does that help or hurt my argument? I'll let the reader decide.)

Designers. I know this would be very hard but if you had the ability to do this would you? The idea is that you could actually see your battles played out. It doesn't have to be Hi-def but it would be cool to see the battles.
