  2. Remember that time Roasis created a 3-1 advantage for themselves and still struggled the whole war? Pepperidge farm remembers.

  6. IRL power is generated in one place and sent to another. Not all power is locally generated. My thought is to either simply add a mechanic that allows people to pay for powering a certain number of cities for a certain amount of time within the current constraints of the mechanics... OR Change the way power works in nations. Rather than individual cities being powered or unpowered, have an energy requirement based on total infra and have power plants produce it much like oil fields or coal mines. Example: City 1 has 3 power plants. City 2 has 0 power plants but receives the excess from City 1. Etc. etc. Power never accumulates or decays, it simply exists based on the number of power plants as it already does. So say you generate 10,000 megawatts but only use 5,000. You can then post the other 5,000 up on the resource market and players can purchase your excess power for money per day until either player cancels the agreement.

  7. Here are the stats that I have personally pulled, and generated. Though, after spending some time looking at them, I can't really figure out which method best shows anything but a decently sized disparity, against Hollywood, in every single way. I tried basic methods first, then realized more detailed ones may be in order. HW = Hollywood RO = Roasis Disparity means difference, and in this particular case, a unit of measurement, comparatively, and specifically referred to in multiples. (Yes, I feel I must actually define this for some of our community members) 1. City counts (HW-12,494 / RO-21,054) This is too general, but shows a disparity of 1.684 more nations in RO's favor. 2. Nation counts (HW-732 / RO-1448) Total Nation counts? Again, probably not going to satisfy anyone, so I will delve deeper. Disparity is 1.978 in favor of RO. 3. Tier counts (cities/nations) c10-c15, HW-2,109 / RO-5,091 (cities) Disparity of 2.413 in RO's favor c10-c15, HW-174 / RO-438 (nations) Disparity of 2.517 in RO's favor c16-c20, HW-2,063 / RO-4,014 (cities) Disparity of 1.945 in RO's favor c16-c20, HW-115 / RO-223 (nations) Disparity of 1.939 in RO's favor c21-c25, HW-2,669 / RO-3,765 (cities) Disparity of 1.410 in RO's favor c21-c25, HW-117 / RO-165 (nations) Disparity of 1.410 in RO's favor c26-c30, HW-2,768 / RO-3,712 (cities) Disparity of 1.341 in RO's favor c26-c30, HW-98 / RO-133 (nations) Disparity of 1.357 in RO's favor c31+, HW-2,045 / RO-2,141 (cities) Disparity of 1.046 in RO's favor c31+, HW-57 / RO-61 (nations) Disparity of 1.070 in RO's favor The last tier (c31+) was so close in "balance", in regards to city and nation count, that I decided I could somewhat accurately generate some more stats for these sluggers, for fun. c31+ HW Infra Loss: 18,938,636,586.01 Nukes Used: 14 Missiles Used: 5 Aircraft Lost: 44,332 Total "Loss": 21,782,128,465.74 c31+ RO Infra Loss: 63,638,183,014.43 Nukes Used: 440 (Yes, I triple checked this) Missiles Used: 270 (See above note) Aircraft Lost: 226,761 Total "Loss": 98,458,022,966.46 There are other consumption stats, and I decided it was best to not include (I assume not everyone likes reading this stuff?) 4. What other methods of stat tracking can people use to make it seem like RO isn't dogpiling? These stats are provided from a slightly unbiased standpoint (I'm HW, but just enjoy statistics/numbers in general) and sources for above stats are provided at request.

  10. Currently the City/Project Timer Reset costs 4 credits. You get the best return if you buy it immediately after buying your previous city/project. However, if you wait a few days, it becomes less and less attractive. Proposal: - Change it to "Reduce City/Project Timer" - Cost = 1 credit - Effect = reduce city/project timer by 30 turns The total cost of reseting the timer from 10 days to 0 will still be the same 120 / 30 = 4 credits. However, it will remain an attractive item to purchase for the entire 10 day period instead of only at the start of that 10 day period.

  11. First, I'd just like to say that TKR fully supports Oceania's decision here. We always give our protectorates the choice to join a war, and we've worked to keep them out in the past when they've chosen to avoid war. In this instance, miscommunications led to attacks on Oceania that our efforts couldn't avoid. I appreciate the work on both sides here to get this resolved. I think that's all that needs to be said. No need for politicization. Second, @ToxicPepper I already explained this to your whole FA team even though it seems to have gone over your head. It was 1.3:1 when HW enterred against Rose, and it was 1.6:1 when Oasis entered against HW and now 2:1 with y'all's entry. There is no way to justify your war because it results in a simple dilemma. Option A is that we call the first war against Rose a dogpile, but that means your entry was a dogpile of triple the magnitude making you a hypocrite and invalidating your CB. Option B is that it wasn't a dogpile by virtue of being closer than any global Aurora has ever fought in, which means y'all don't have a CB and also have an invalid entry. In either case, you don't have a justification for being in this war. Now, please bring the lies somewhere else.

  18. Off-topic, but as one of the commanders in Knightfall, I will just point out that your post is inaccurate. One of the main reasons behind that war (not the only one) was the existence of the secret TKR-GOB treaty. Have a nice day.

  30. A tumbleweed rolls across a road in a quiet town. The sun is setting. The streets are quiet, and all lights are dark except for one tavern. Inside the tavern were the remnants of what the world had come to know as the Quack gang. They were a large gang, and one others tended to view as a threat. They'd been discussing going separate ways for the last few hours, when a man burst in. "Look at this," Shifty said, handing the gang a slew of papers. Plans for a rival gang that based themselves in the Swamp to try and take us on again. Plans for certain members of Quack to be sideswiped while the rest of Quack was assumed to just stand aside. Adam couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the lack of critical thinking in that idea. "Well then, boys. Guess we get one last scrap together after all. Grab your men, grab your horses, and let's pay them a visit shall we?" Adam said. The rest nodded in response. Adam made his way to Leopold's office, and entered. "Time to bring him to justice," he said, dropping the papers on Leo's desk. Leo grinned and eagerly grabbed his revolver. Benfro and Adam met outside before everyone rolled out, giving a nod to eachother. "One last ride," they said, before heading towards the Swamp. TL;DR: t$ declares war on Swamp as a result of the leaks and various other misdeeds and cancels all Swamp cancellations. Couldn't let both of us split without a little more fun, could we?

  32. I have couple of question about your view on communism, if you don't mind. First of, have there ever been a country you believe have succesfully been able to implement communsime? Second, if no country have been able to implement communsime succesfully, why do you believe that is? Third question, if you where to succesfully implement communsime in a country, how would you fixs the answer to the second question? All Goons are welcome to answer, even though i am like 90% sure that the number of real communist in the goons is around 2% at most. With your alliance just being here to troll people. And that if the game allowed Nazis you would most likely be roleplaying them instead.
