Hello everyone, Mountain Dew#0933 here. I have played P&W for 2 years and finally think it's time to move on in my life and focus on my life goals. In these two years, i founded many well known alliances, made some awesome friends, fought numerous global wars and had a great time. Thanks for the laugh, Gorge. I would like to state however that I think you're full of sh*t and your excuses for wanting to hit us are increasingly transparent. We gave you the benefit of the doubt when a lot of others didn't and you've done little but continue to perpetuate the same behavior towards us you always have, just under a veneer of niceness. We didn't cheapen anything, you did that yourself with your false claims of change and your bandwagoning onto CBs you rather clearly don't believe in. There's a reason the "false narrative building" and "manufactured reasons" are directed at Camelot specifically (also lol at the irony of you lot claiming that). It doesn't take a genius to figure it out and I look forward to the day your "friends" realize this too.

Alrighty Ima take a moment to break this “silence” and point out a few key issues I’ve seen as a “general” political stance from our friends in TKR. I really find your lack of self-awareness concerning. Rather than look at the facts, you have gone out of your way to manufacture reasons Camelot went to war with you. To clear this up Camelot did not have any idea that Oasis was going to hit only HM. In fact, that surprised us and left us with only one potential target (you). You were never considered to be a primary target of ours until you decided to link up with HM. We had other ambitions in mind and TKR was only in the back of our minds. Sure, we have had our disputes of late, and disagree with how they were handled, however for the most part we moved on. The only large concern we carried with us was your continued narrative of “IQ times” which we clearly told you. Camelot cancelled out of the larger bloc we were part of as soon as we saw the Quack cancelation go live, we committed ourselves to mini-spheres and we were made to believe you did as well. In fact, we took what we considered a huge risk, it is no secret that there are a few alliances left split between spheres that hate us. Have you noticed how only a few people are rooting your “Cam IQ'' narrative on? Have you taken a moment to realize that people are moving on, and Cam has changed. The worst part of all of it is you took what essentially is the games equivalent to Hitler and dumbed it down to a meaningless narrative, now if the game ever needs to use that narrative in the future, you made it worthless and hold no value. Camelot is nothing like IQ. No matter how many times you yell it until your face turns blue. On that note I would stop throwing stone from your glass houses TKR…. Finally, to sum this up, let us not forget you created yet another mega sphere with upper tier consolidation, please do everyone a favour. Drop the act and own it. You created this sphere and did not anticipate the game's reaction, you miscalculated. That is your mistake to bear, no amount of false narrative building is going to fix that. Now back to my slumber of ignoring the forums during war (because talking to my self is boring)

It would be interesting if the suppression was a bit more dynamic. Something like the % decrease in tank strength being relative to the amount of planes the player with air control has. For example if I only had 50% of my planes while holding air-control the buff would be halved (25% decrease instead of 50%). Would make sense as well since the more planes you have the easier it would be to suppress the enemy tanks, the less you have the lower your effect would be.

Since I made an OWF post about it, guess I should've actually made a post about this. I've returned to P&W as of May 1st (last month). I had left the game on 1 month VM due to an overwhelming about of drama and salt in late March, generally revolving around my friends and (indirectly) my alliance - specifically against KT. In that month I had time to process and reflect on things; and in this month i've been continuing to try and keep my calm both in game and real life. I'm doing better with my job as a junior dev, and can worry less about making rent; which I believe was the primary reason behind my stress. Now that I am [have been] back, I hope to return to the levels of kindness and wholesomeness that I displayed during Duck Hunt. Thank you @Comrade Joe and @Redarmy for helping me feel comfortable returning. Thanks to @Zei-Sakura Alsainn for everything as well, despite disagreements sometimes. Thanks @Adrienne and @BigMorf for being some of the first to welcome me back. En garde, frenemies in Hollywood! And I'm glad to fight alongside my comrades in Roasis Inc. as well. TL;DR Back after a month of dealing with mental health, reporting a month late b/c oops, glad to be back and fighting with and against friends.

We are not and have never been allies, we are two completely different and separate spheres each with their own goals and political aspirations. Part of the fun of micro spheres, is one day a sphere you worked with in one war you will end up fighting in the next war. Same goes for your enemies. Many talk about there being only 2 sides, well former HM teamed up with half the alliances it just fought against, to hit a sphere that they fought with 4 months earlier. Do you guys only want two sides every war or do you want to see the sides mix it up? You !@#$ when there is too much peace, you !@#$ when there is too much war, end of the day, no matter what we do, somebody is going to be pissed, but as long as i am not allied to them, I dont care.

HM owed Rose nothing, in my opinion. Their decision to hit Rose has no bearing on how good/not good they are as allies. I don't agree with your characterization here, as you well know given that we discussed it last war too. With Duck Hunt, we wholeheartedly disagree on the severity of the logs that started that war. As Quack, we perceived a serious threat and we acted on it. You can downgrade that to a rumor, that's your prerogative, but it was accompanied by a plethora of actions that lent credence to it and that is why we acted. To pretend otherwise does everyone involved a disservice. I don't think I really need to explain how Last Ride was different. It was our Last Ride, we wanted to go out with not having Duck Hunt our only war as a group, some of our group had issues with alliances in Swamp, and the opportunity presented itself rather nicely with the release of those logs. We were fairly clear with that on the whole, I believe. Wars have been started for far less than those. To sit there and push that we go to war for no reason at all or are setting out to roll the world is fearmongering.

Fine I’ll be the one to say it... good fight Oceania. Hope your rebuild goes well, you gained useful experience, and most of all hope you had some fun.

OWF is Open World Forum, aka the Politics and War Forums that we're currently typing on. Listening to Fist is generally a bad idea, just for the record. He's well known for maintaining long time grudges against several alliances here and only popping out of the woodwork to spout hate and nonsense and then disappear again. And I'm not sure where you're going with this attempt at a comparison either. Folks had a wide variety of reasons for wanting to hit us then and we gave them the opportunity when we broke up EMC and downsized our sphere. Trying to equate the reason for that war to a predisposition for hegemonic actions shows that you still have quite a bit more research to do. Having a war prior to this one doesn't mean that we're heading into a spree. The wars left both HM and Quack relatively undamaged and we were already militarized. If we wanted to do a war, it made sense to take advantage of the situation instead of demilitarizing and rebuilding and waiting. Pragmatism doesn't equate to anything sinister down the line. I'm not sure where you're going with the suggesting bits though. You find it ironic that we would ally Hedge after they wanted to hit us? It takes more than just planning to hit us or even hitting us to piss us off - we've allied people right after they've hit us before. Relating to the Morf Radio bit, I'm not sure what prompted that but I would hazard a guess that information is a tiny bit faulty because that makes rather little sense. You may not be aware of this, Phoenyx, but when several entities, especially ones who were not previously allied, come together and hit someone, they may have different reasons for wanting to do so. TKR's reasons largely have to do with Rose's conduct around and during Duck Hunt but as you pointed out, that doesn't make much sense for the former HM portion of Hollywood. You shouldn't try to ascribe our reasons to them as they have their own.

First, I'd just like to say that TKR fully supports Oceania's decision here. We always give our protectorates the choice to join a war, and we've worked to keep them out in the past when they've chosen to avoid war. In this instance, miscommunications led to attacks on Oceania that our efforts couldn't avoid. I appreciate the work on both sides here to get this resolved. I think that's all that needs to be said. No need for politicization. Second, @ToxicPepper I already explained this to your whole FA team even though it seems to have gone over your head. It was 1.3:1 when HW enterred against Rose, and it was 1.6:1 when Oasis entered against HW and now 2:1 with y'all's entry. There is no way to justify your war because it results in a simple dilemma. Option A is that we call the first war against Rose a dogpile, but that means your entry was a dogpile of triple the magnitude making you a hypocrite and invalidating your CB. Option B is that it wasn't a dogpile by virtue of being closer than any global Aurora has ever fought in, which means y'all don't have a CB and also have an invalid entry. In either case, you don't have a justification for being in this war. Now, please bring the lies somewhere else.

Building an alliance takes work and connections, yeah. That's just how it works. No one has ever risen to greatness on their own. It's naïve to think otherwise. Best learn to accept it.
