When word reached us that The Knights Radiant had ensured that we got our bank returned and responded to all of our concerns regarding safekeeping and membership, it was a pressing enough threat. This was coupled with a rogue gov member from their protectorate saying mean things about our failure to sustain a protectorate. As pretenses fell, we realized that Camelot had to go back to its time of glory from where George and SCX was born--the time of the Inquisition. Whether it was now or after the war, we wanted to use the same FA style as we did before to bully people into getting what we want. We have been reluctant to show our true face because that'd get us rolled. We have stood idly by but now the time is to follow NPO's lead. In every previous war, Camelot has only entered wars where we greatly outnumber our opponents and now we're getting another free win by interfering in another war to extend our proud legacy. Note this is our decision unilaterally as we could no longer allow these TKR people to call out when we try and fail to bully them. It is regrettable that we couldn't stack the odds more in our favor. There is every intention of domination. The imbalance we have introduced made it clear that our entry will solidify Camelot and George's reputation as being past their IQ ways. The numbers cited have made it clear that this is a war heavily in our favor, allowing us to stroke our egos and for me to secretly continue embezzling the alliance bank. We did everything we could to make sure we never have to fight a real war. By the day, TKR had been just too honorable for us to handle and BK was just so much better at being BK than we are. We expect to take little losses as we engage in tiers that have already been decided, which is why we declare war on TKR. Tl;dr Never forget that Camelot will always fight those darn hegemons.

What do you want me to do? excellence attracts excellence. I turn down a lot of applicants, but maybe people in this game look at Grumpy and are like... wow, 35 of 38 members were online for that blitz yesterday. Before the next day change, they had 100% participation and 37 of 38 members had declared at least 2 wars, with the 38th member declaring more wars after day change. Maybe people see this, and are like, wow I want to be a part of a team with little to no dead weight, I want to be with a team where I know ALL my fellow members have my back. Maybe they are looking around at their current alliance and see a bunch of guys their size all jumping to vaca mode, or being generally inactive while they are getting rolled, or look to all the taxes they are paying and see that that money is just getting sunk into little nations that quit the game in 2 weeks. Maybe they see some Grumpy members that they recognize from former trash alliances who they thought sucked, and for some reason seem to now be an absolute monster on the battlefield and have grown in city count much faster than themselves. At the end of the day maybe they think to themselves there is a better option out there. Also dont think that because we are the biggest, we are the only one, there are a bunch of alliances that have tried and are trying to do what we do. Also dont kid yourselves, if G/G came to your bloc and asked to join you would all say yes in a heartbeat.

By half of NPOLT you mean like maybe a month... out of 9 months. After we wiped out you guys when you tried to focus fire on G/G and jumped in one alliance at a time. NPO jumped in, had their shit together and kicked our asses pretty quick. It really isn't hard to beat us, if it was we would never lose a war, but we have lost a bunch. End of the day tho, its our job to make that win as painful and difficult as possible for our opponents. Game mechanics are such that we can only do so much as long as you are allowed to hit us without us being able to hit you, we will always be vulnerable, as will any whale alliance, its to our advantage to force you to build up to try to poke at us, vs us dropping a ton of NS to reach you, there is a point mechanically where we just cant do it. I have sold down, decommed projects. dropped military all of it to try to keep hitting people, I can only go so low, I rejoice everytime I get nuked, because that means I can go lower. (keep working on it 6 dudes I'm fighting, I have only eaten 3 nukes so far, we can do better, I believe in you) That being said, I get that Hollywood is a threat to every bloc in this game, I am not going to tell you that we aren't the strongest military force in the game, we are. (by how much? you guys can keep arguing over that). As a former member of Hedge and Ketogg before it, we now have the one thing we never had before, we have numbers. We dont need to go out and try to find someone to help us fight because we never had numbers like we do now. I dont even blame the blocs jumping in and trying to dog pile us, I get it. Granted logistically I think its silly for Oasis to hit us since they really aren't competing with us in terms of tiering. They should be competing with other huge lower tier blocs of which they dominate, but that is up to their leadership and what they want to do. My guess is because their leadership are generally on the whale side, they view us as a bigger threat to them than we really are. Side note, by half the npolt war, you must not mean your alliance that after we slapped down the first week, sat on the sidelines for months just hanging out doing nothing, or a bunch of other alliances like RnR that never engaged at all. (ask Dread how he is currently as big as he is) Or the fact that you guys currently are not fighting at all, and get to sit back and grow and make bank in the trade market while the rest of the world blows each other up.

Apparently @Cooper_ missed the memo that all war decs must be made strictly in bold font. Otherwise who else would know we have no actual case to join an already lopsided war?

In case you want to know Grumpy's official CB as stated else where, we felt for the future health of the game, we needed Pre to experience war in its current form in order to better understand it and be able to properly improve it in the future. The only way to do that was to hit Yarr, who is protected by Rose.

We are also exceptionally humble.

This table is obvious fact manufacturing... Setting aside the fact that you still have more 35+ nations than the 3 spheres you're fighting; They also have higher city counts. The reason there isn't a separate 35-40 tier and a 40+ on the graph is because this is Rose's 35+ (yes they're not all 35 but i can't be bothered to crop and stuff) And this is GOB's Now 44 cities is quite a ways off from 35 so i'm not sure why they'd be included in the same category, unless you have an agenda to push, of course.
