Anyways, as some of you may know, the war between the aggressors The Archangels (RIP), The Reef (also RIP), Atlantian Council and friends, and the defenders Black Skies, has officially come to a close (Boy that sentence was long, sorry). We (the aggressors) would like to state that the official CB for the war was not, as originally stated, an aggression against Alan specifically, but for the training and betterment of our alliances. Them being paperless was just too convenient an opportunity to pass up. Well, it's not the worst post we've seen here this week. An apology from an alliance... is something that goes into alliance affairs, so it's legit if nothing else. Still, the existence of this post definitely constitutes a strong argument for the formation of a micro affairs section. I'll upvote because I actually unironically like that CB. More war = better, so don't hate on little micros trying to learn

What happened to worst alliance leader of the year? Can we still make that an award?

Basically we would remove the spy op that destroys infra and replace it with a spy op that destroys an improvement. The success rate would vary between the number of spies that were defending (obviously) and the number of improvements a nation has. If a nation is a whale with lots of improvements the difficulty decreases as it's harder to defend lots of different improvements. If a nation has a low number of improvements success is harder as its easier to defend fewer targets. Power plants would be unable to be spied. Military facilities would have a low rate of being hit. The most frequently targeted improvements would be Raw resources, Refined resources, and commerce. Feedback pls

I actually originally thought the same way you did, until I looked and realized it would take over 650 days to destroy all my improvements. that is if you were successful 3 times every single day, and if you don't kill the infra behind it, you can just rebuild them anyways. This is a great complimentary attack to go along with Nukes/Missiles, it doesn't replace them by any stretch. note it would take about 4 months to wipe out all of your improvements assuming everything was successful every single day, and you are practically a brand new nation. Side note, shorter more frequent wars are a positive not a negative.

Thanks for the story. It may indeed belong in National Affairs as some say, but I can understand how it could be ambiguous as your Alliance does seem to play a small role in it. I did a bit of research to try to understand the story better. For those who don't know, Kalev is low gov in TCW's Alliance and Justin a member of syndicate that Reg recently had a war with.

....If that's what your nation description looked like, then hell yes is there a problem with that: That's the 2nd least readable pile of words I've seen this week. Making it inconvenient to hit a nation is the reason that the rule and later change was implemented, by the way. It's not a matter of propaganda, it's a matter of using a mechanic in a way that it was very much not intended to. You can still have a youtube video up there I think? Failing that, you can have an anthem. Or just a, y'know, link. You can't have ten thousand memes making it take ages to load your nation page though, since that's literally cheating. ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If Power Plants and Military improvements can't be targeted, this spy op would be just as valuable as the current spy infra op (low value). If Power plants and military improvements can be targeted, this spy op would be incredibly annoying and OP compared to other spy ops. Having a low chance of hitting a military improvement seems just as valuable as not having the ability to target them at all in this context. This is one of those "knife's edge" ideas that has to be perfectly balanced for me to want to see it implemented - given how hard that is to do or agree on, I think I agree with Potpie here. Buffing the amount of infra you can destroy with spy ops OR accept that spies aren't meant to be a tool of dealing direct damage and remove the infra spy op would both be better choices imo.

If you want to chronicle your nations' history, you can do that using the factbook. If you want to spam your nations' front page, then frick you too.

I don't see how anyone can really be enjoying this war. Everyone needs to be honest now because changes need to be made. On the winning side there's no slots and even when there is a slot available there's nothing to really destroy and no loot. On the losing side you have no spies or military. Bots are being used to counter you within a few seconds and spy slot filling is happening on your targets. We need changes now. Apart from that sure I enjoyed nuking a few people.

Alliances not using their nukes died with the Mushroom Kingdom using nukes in the noCB war.

Swamp and Hedge never discussed any offensive actions against Quack. If it was somebody like Sphinx doing it on his own, that we have no knowledge of. But we literally never discussed offensive action against Quack with Hedge or Rose, nor would that have been approved by Swamp leadership. Defensive arrangements, yes, those were obviously discussed. Discussing going on the offensive literally only happened within the 24 hours before the war started. My DM's are open if you'd like to discuss further.

I used to play a city-simulator called City*Empires. I'm not sure if it's still alive, since the last time I visited the game I could no longer log in.

Once upon a time, a brave unknown artist by the name of Mystic Mac (now known as Kiloist II cause no one liked that gimmick), drew a really bad picture out of love for those once known as Ordo Paradoxia... They became known as La Mafia... While we were a match made in heaven, we have fallen out of love and they declared to us they wanted to move on, we wish them the best moving forward, it's okay, we've both learned and we'll move forward with a broken heart and provide to our next lover where we lacked with each other. However, the reminder was there, and it hurt. So we did what any rational ex would do... We had to dispose of the reminder.. Disclaimer: Someone totally jacked our idea for this, we did it the night before they posted their video we were just to drunk too post it.. P.S. For those who can't figure it out La Mafia and Bad Company are no more.

No PEACE THIS WAR BREAKS RECORDS MAKE IT MORE THAN YEAR WAR

Well I don't speak on behalf of either Swamp or even TI. But as mentioned before, if any other bloc in the game decided to kill another bloc, the rest of the game could still stop them even after that war ended. With regards to Quack, if even 12 hours after a blitz on another bloc you decided to try to kill that bloc, it would be unlikely we could stop you. Once your targets military is defeated you could fight the rest of the game while sitting on that enemy. Lastly , if TKR and T$ split their spheres when everyone else in the game expected them to do so and Swamp didn't, it would very rightfully be Swamp being hit by the rest of the game and not Quack.
