  1. Brogan had been drunk for a very long time getting in many bar fights across the land. He helped those who helped him and was loyal to his friends. So Brogan fought and kept fighting until one day he bit off more than he could chew and had to make a run for it. After evading his pursuers he went to see his long time forever friend Dragon. Dragon was very understanding and said come to my place and let's have a chat with my friends.Together they went into the Secret Door to the Anti chamber of the Swamp and Brogan met with the Giant Gingerbread Man, Leprechaun, King Triton, Florida Man, and Hawkeye Pierce. Doctor Hawkeye gave Brogan a thorough medical check up and was pleased to find a strong Ogre in good health but is seen to be rather hungry, so Florida Man kindly gives his Chicken Nuggets to Brogan. Giant Gingerbread Man is grateful to hear that Chicken Nuggets are Brogans favourite food and not Ginger Bread. While this had been going on King Triton and Leprechaun had been chatting and both agreed that Brogan was a fine figure of an Ogre and also agreed that Leprechaun should give Brogan a task to prove himself. Leprechaun approached Brogan, obviously he had to climb up King Triton's upraised Trident to be face to face with Brogan and said “Brogan, if you asked, if I would let you through. I'll open the gate to the Swamp for you and your Alliance mates if you will bring me... Hannahs Ginger Locks so that Giant Gingerbread Man can make a wig as his head gets very cold up in the clouds." Brogan thought about this dangerous mission for a moment, it would indeed be fraught with danger, but to have real friends in a Swampy place, and a Doctors tent as well and lots of freshly Dragon-Fire char Grilled Chicken Nuggets on hand, realized it was too good an opportunity to miss But…………... Hannah was scary to behold, but Brogan soon found out she had a heart of gold. Hearing that Giant Gingerbread Man’s head was cold, she gladly cut her Ginger Locks and presented them to Brogan. Brogan Hipitty Hopped all the way home to Leprechaun and King Triton used his Trident to weave a wig for the Giant Gingerbread Man, and Dr. Hawkey Pierce carefully stuck it on with superglue. TLDR TF - Dragon TI - Giant gingerbread man & - Leprechaun Fark- Hawk Pierce TFP - Florida man TLE - King Triton Have opened the Secret door to the Swamp and let USN - Brogan in and together they agree to Chapter 1: Mirror, mirror, on the wall. Who is the swampiest of them all? All members of The Swamp agree that should any information come to light regarding the security or welfare of another, it must be shared. Chapter 2: Well, I have to save my ass. If any member of The Swamp is attacked, all other members agree to militarily, financially, and diplomatically defend one another. An attack on any member of The Swamp is an attack on the whole swamp. Chapter 3: Can’t we settle this over a pint? If any member of The Swamp decided to start an offensive war, representatives of all other members must be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Other members are not required to join. Chapter 4: What are you doing in my swamp‽ All current members of The Swamp must agree to the admission of another member. Chapter 5: This is the part where you run away. Should any current member wish to exit The Swamp, they must inform representatives of all others 72 hours in advance. Of Course - They all lived happily ever after in the Swampiest of Swamps

  2. SNN has always been independent and indecent, owned by Shifty and powered by grudges and chaos. Today I’d like to formally announce that SNN will be remain the same, but now on the Thalmoria Server. Unifying a similar and dank audience that hungers, for the embitterment and cacophony of sorrowful cries of those who are leaked, SNN now has a greater reach. Forum posts , leaks and screenies, rumor mills, VC only mentions, and even drama that is too nuts for the mods will continue to be our staple. If you’d like to join the team, DM me. If you have news, rumors, or anything that you want posted and censored, so you are devoid of any blame, please send them over. SNN relies on the grudges, spite, desire to see others falter, and general mayhem caused by plans being exposed or drawn to an immediate halt. This is Shifty, bringing you a greater unified news to the people.

  16. Projects come from infra, if you look at most pirate nations they have more projects than their infra can support. They also have like sub 1000 infra per city. I'm sure many pirates would like this project, but it's entirely infeasible due to the cost of buying that much infra for a single project.

  27. Ground battles are savage now. Especially with their ability to rip planes apart faster than you can reliably gain AS, ground has become the equivalent of aircraft in the old meta. You can either reduce ground casualties, though this makes war overall more grindy, by alot. Alternatively one could increase air to air casualties, making at a rough parity with ground, placing the emphasis on an organized first strike and a coordinated active membership and Milcom to send counters to either maintain or take back initiative. I prefer option two, especially with new beige mechanics hopefully coming soon to make all wars end in beige (something realistic, effective and quick, before you go flowing with the long term creative juices, please) as this truly makes combined arms and absolute necessary and opens up far more strategic options with Ground and Air both being powerful enough to floor people if used properly. A slight increase in airstriking tanks wouldn't be bad either. Hopefully a change for ships (better ship to ship kills, add in a targetting option like planes have, ships are giant floating missiles silos yanno) and spend our time testing the effectiveness of those, allowing them to target units or infra or other ships or even improvements. Ships as they are are as they've always been, meh. Good for killing infra, and so in my idea above they'd only be OK at killing other units instead of the slaughter parity with ground and air.

  28. Hey All! I completed a quick search about this and did not see any similar suggestions, so here I am. I am here to propose a project that could change the face of upper-level combat. Right now, cities have independent power sources. In the real world, this is rarely true, and it is common for cities to have multiple grids linked to multiple external power sources. As a quick example, a freak weather pattern sent 6 tornadoes through my IRL city a few years ago (we never get tornadoes at all, let alone 6 at once). Our power lines were a mess, especially the main line leading from our main source. The good news was that we were already linked into other power sources and shared some power from neighbouring cities and towns, as a temporary solution (there was some power rationing in a couple neighbourhoods where the infrastructure was quite badly hit). This brings me to my project suggestion: Energy Distribution Cost: 1,000 Iron, 10,000 Steel, and 5,000 Aluminum, as well as 250,000,000 cash (I haven't spent the time to balance the numbers, which honestly would be hard to calculate) Pre-requisites: Centre for Civil Engineering, City Planning Effect: Excess energy from a city is redirected to cities in need. For example, if one of 11 cities loses power, and there is sufficient power surplus in the remaining 10 cities and is enough to supply power to the city that lost power, it would behave as though it was not without power. this would be beneficial in two situations: 1. having vast surplus power usage or potential because of chosen infrastructure numbers would lead to improvement slot savings in a few cities. 2. Being blockaded AND having your power destroyed may become less devastating if you are already fighting a losing battle. Again, this would be for upper-tier play, and as of yet, I am only at C10, so I don't know how viable it is, but I thought I would propose it. Edit: the price has been lowered from the initially proposed 500m to 250m, based on some of the feedback (and also noting that income is not exponential to city-counts)

  41. If micro alliances wish to form, they can. If they get rolled, so be it. But nobody will surpass major alliances no matter how much effort they put in if the major alliances LITERALLY write the rules of the game. If Akuryo's dream came true, mid tiers who get a little too close to his alliance in size could suddenly be denied a right to exist by a ruling. Why doesn't Alex play pnw? Because he would have too much of an unfair advantage even if he agreed to follow HIS rules.
