  1. Currently, bounties are not delivered if the nation that completes a bounty is under blockade. This effectively nullifies the usefulness of bounty as a mechanic, since people who are likely to bounty hunt (raiders) often find themselves under blockade. Thus, I propose that nations completing bounties should get the money anyway (regardless of whether they are under blockade or not).

  3. This style of announcement looks familiar. Seems like some soft power influence might have rubbed off along the way. Good luck.

JOINT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM UNFORGIVEN LEGION AND THE GLOBAL ALLIANCE AND TREATY ORGANIZATION Optional Defence and Optional Aggression Pact between the Global Alliance and Treaty Organization and Unforgiven Legion Preamble In recognition that the Global Alliance and Treaty Organization and Unforgiven Legion agree to peace, friendship and to grow and support each other as time passes. 5. PnW Players, I don't talk on the forums much anymore, and as of late I've been trying to cut back on my discord chatting too, however I decided to make this forum post to call attention to something that has affected me and the people around me. A little over a week ago on August 27th, Hurricane Laura made landfall as a Category 4 Hurricane on the Southwest Louisiana coast. At first the storm was forecasted to only be around Category 2 strength, however the storm ended up being worse than just about any other storm to ever hit Louisiana, and as of the time of writing this, there are still over 250,000 people in Southwest Louisiana without Electricity and a good chunk of those don't have running water either. In the worst hit areas surrounding Lake Charles, Louisiana, many people lost everything, I know many friends who live in the area that lost their entire house and have no place to go, some are even staying in tents in the places where their houses used to be. Recovery efforts are underway, however local officials have said that people in the Lake Charles area could be without power and water for weeks. I got power back this past Wednesday, fortunately for me, the area where I live was spared the worst of it, however we are still a ways away from any sort of "normal". I personally am in a good position, my house came out fine from the storm, and my family also managed to make it out. However, this past week, the more I watched the news, the more I realized that our plight had almost been lost in the void. After the first couple of days or so, people just stopped talking about us. Things are not okay here, and they won't be okay here for awhile, and I wanted to raise awareness of that. I specifically wanted to ask those of you that can, to please donate to the recovery efforts in place. Below is a link to donate to the Red Cross, they personally helped me quite a bit through the week where I didn't have power, providing warm meals among many other things to people who needed it and I've heard that they're doing great things over in the Lake Charles area. To be clear, I'm not asking for any money myself, I don't need it, but I want to see those who were affected severely receive the care that they need. I've been frustrated these past few days because it feels as though my little corner of the world has been forgotten in our time of most need. I also felt the desire to help those in need, however didn't quite know what to do about it and I hope that by making this post that I can help make somewhat of a difference, I feel that even just making others aware of what is going on here is a step in the right direction. Thanks for at least reading this message, and once again, I urge you to donate money if you are financially secure enough to make such a donation. https://www.redcross.org/donate/donation.html/

  6. Small tweak that I think would provide better balance to missiles. Basically the iron dome can block 50% of missiles and (I believe) planes doing airstrikes can blow up comparable amounts of infra so I think 8 MAPs makes missiles too expensive. My thought personally has always been: If I'm using missiles, I might as well wait til 12 MAPs for a nuke. If I'm not using missiles, I'm probably winning. The only thing that can be said is that missiles are fairly cheap. Anyways. Missile cost 8 MAPs -> 6 MAPs is my suggestion. This way you get two potential missiles a day. Giving an actual purpose to the +1 build limit the space project gives you as well.

  7. A day's worth of MAPs basically puts nukes into a "wait all day and do nothing else" situation. Usually if you're losing the conventional war or if you want to be extra spiteful. I think it'd be useful to allow nukes to be used and then at least provide some opportunity for the nation to take action other than launching a nuke that day. Nuclear weapon cost 12 MAPs -> 8 MAPs This still gives you 1 nuclear launch a day, but it doesn't leave you completely actionless for an entire 24 hours. I hold no illusion that this would be meta-changing in any significant way but mostly the benefit from this would actually be the ability to not waste MAPs beyond your storage of 12. I'm sure many people have waited til 12 MAPs to nuke someone only to forget to log in and lose two or three turns of MAPs to the void. Maybe one day nukes will do more than simply burn infra and we can see tactical nuke usage.

  15. Wait, so when I revenge war Atlas for their cruel attacks on me. Exhibit A: Cat Commander Jordan of Manitoba South ordered a naval attack upon the nation of Aneles and eliminated 14 Resistance. The attack was an immense triumph. Cat Commander Jordan's forces lost 0 ships, while High Queen Vexz's defenders lost 0 ships. The attack destroyed 1.30 infrastructure in the city of Eyrie. Does that mean Camelot will counter me? If so, make sure to have Aero and Azazel on that task force, for no particular reason...

  16. After a history of being on ends with the fellas in Camelot, growing closer too these guys before Atlas Technologies made our protectorate status with them a breeze. Couldn't ask for a better addition to our PW family. I'm extremely proud of the Atlas Technologies leadership team and all of our members who work hard to get us where we are today. ❤️ Aero

  17. So now we're posting shitty fakes. Here is an actual picture of my account name and profile picture Please notice how this fake has my profile picture waaaaaaaaaaay zoomed in and pixelated. The fake also doesn't have my clan brackets symbolizing my ties to Avansies Gaming. This doesn't even deserve a look as this is clearly created by a robot. No human would stoop to the indecent low of trying to fake something so horribly sinister like this. I call for OZAI the leader of HORDE EMPIRE to be permanently banned for his shameless and downright horrendous lying and slander.

  18. Sir, From what I can tell, there isn't a way to disable new feature of discord integration on the game. While it is rather unobtrusive on desktop, on mobile or when playing in a half-screen window, the discord icon covers part of the resource bar so that I can't see how much I have. This changes with the size of the window. I understand that getting people involved on discord will improve retention, and that it might work as a default add-on... but can we please be allowed to disable it? I know I won't ever use it since I use discord regularly anyway. I presume that applies to much of the current player base. Cheers, Zig

  19. Both these transphobic comments happened on platforms that PW runs. This shit should not be happening in your game. OOC attacking people in the community should be scrubbed out entirely, especially when of this nature.

  20. Well, the reason that blockades block bounties was implemented because otherwise bounties become a way to circumvent blockades, at least in terms of cash. You're 100% right though: fulfilling the bounty contract and then just being denied the money entirely is stupid and does indeed make bounties nigh uncollectable outside of a major, and expensive, war scenario. Thus, to address both of these things at once, bounties should really be put into a phantom escrow account that automatically deposits all bounty earnings into the bounty hunters' nation as soon as they're out of blockade. Win/win

  22. Pirate man bad. Der Der der Seriously, lobbing three missiles at an opponent, pirate or not, is a viable option. And reducing 36 resistance is fair trade off for the imbalance of spies. If you are lucky enough to have 3 missiles ready at all times and not have them spied away.

  28. Nobody is looking to start anything nor did we indicate that you had judged Schrute. Most of us passed judgement against him and his AA long ago, their FA shows this judgement is spread very far and wide and the current situation has done nothing except reinforce said judgement, rightfully so frankly. Furthermore, i think your statement would make more sense if it was about ASM perhaps, but Schrute is an ASM ally via an optional treaty, not a Rose ally. If Rose wants to defend Schrute, they should sign them. When you consider that Schrute has 5 nations and their M-level ally WTF has a further 4 in the appropriate range capable of handling the...4 and dwights immediate reaction was not to defend themselves with their own nations but immediately go begging for help to other AAs, some of which they have no relations with is downright laughable. I guess it's honorable that Rose is willing to oA on an oD to defend the FA black sheep of the game, but it's frankly just defending an AA that can't seem to defend itself, doesn't deserve to be defended and will not repay the favor in the future.

  29. Not trying to start something here, so I'm just going to clarify. I made no judgement on the character of Dwight or his alliance. I experienced the same events as y'all, and I have opinions. Frankly though, my comment had nothing to do with SF rather it had to do with Rose. This is now the second time that Rose has countered for an ally in an unenviable position where they probably could've gotten away with not helping out. First with the KT hit that GGFU didn't counter and now this. To me, that shows a bit of consistency in principle, and that's what I was appreciating. It's a viewpoint that I share: you sign treaties then you reasonably honor them. That's all I was saying as a fellow adherent of the honourgland.

  30. Micro alliances want to form? So much the better; that should be encouraged. Micro alliances want to flail about, pick up newbies that don't know better, fail them entirely and thus give the new players an awful impression of the game? Not so much. They are hurting people: new players that end up hecking off because they had a bad experience. Source: ME. When I first joined back in 2015, I had a pretty lame experience joining BoC, and ultimately quit to focus on other games. That is far from uncommon, and is something that deserves to be addressed. I mention this because it is important to realize that I'm not talking from raw speculation: I know personally that it is true.

  31. Considering there is already an artificial project timer in the form of the infra requirements, which require you to buy more cities over time to meet them, I don't see any reason not to remove it.
    1 point
  32. Simple enough, just add mass land purchase. If you can do it with infra, why not with land. Has been suggested before, but obviously it has fallen on deaf ears, so here I am
