So the folks who lead TFP and I were going about our day, and noticed something. Also, we never officially declared existence. Therefore, I announce, along with the rest of TFP leadership, the declaration of existence for The Fighting Pacifists. Once upon a time we were a paperless neutral alliance, and were a strong and relevant one at that. During the Silent War we actually reached the top 10 of all alliances. Not quite the case anymore, but we still stand by most of the same principles we held then as we do now. We defend our own, etc. etc., we are all at heart peaceful and don't necessarily want to fight, but we will if we have to. Nobody has been or is allowed to raid. We don't have taxes, either. However, we have abandoned the paperless bit. We still try and maintain neutrality, but I'll get to that later. We currently have a few protective treaties: MDP with Guardian ODP with Rose ODP with Ragnarok And also an NAP with LoDN. Our current government consists of: Facilitator: Quichwe10 Asst. Darkness - the eternal void. Nothing to be seen. Silence - deafening, yet not at the same time. Nothing to be heard. Eternity - time itself was meaningless. How long was this the case? Did it have a beginning? Did it have an end? It did not matter. To one soul, this was all it had experienced, and will ever experience. To one soul, nothing existed outside of this eternal void. Although the soul was eternal, existence itself was meaningless. Only a being of unimaginable power could ever hope to communicate with such a soul. Would the soul even recognize if it was being communicated with? Could it respond? No, but it could listen. Listen to what, however? Perhaps the deafening silence of the void was mocking the soul. Yet, the sound that permeated the void was strangely familiar. It was one that the soul had not experienced for seemingly all eternity - a voice. A voice was calling out to the soul. It could not respond. All it could do was listen. "...ame." What was it saying? "...name." It was distorted, yet somehow understandable. "Kaname..." Kaname? Was that its name? It felt familiar in a way the soul could not place. "Kaname Kuran..." That's right. The soul's name...was Kaname Kuran, but how did it know? And more importantly, who was this voice and how did it know? Once the words of the voice could be understood, it began to speak further. "Kaname Kuran - king of the vampires. Locked in an eternal slumber until the end of time." The soul listened, absorbing the words of the voice. "You are once again needed, by your subjects, by your people. They currently face a terrible threat in the form...of demons." The soul was blinded by a bright light. It was something that it had not experienced in a very long time. It was a vision. A vision of vampires being shot, killed, and torn apart by demons blinded the soul before fading away. "Without your leadership, the vampires face complete extinction. I have the power to awaken you from your eternal slumber. If you wish to reenter your eternal state of slumber, you may do so upon awakening, but know that the vampires will face their inevitable demise if you choose to abandon them. Rise, Kaname Kuran, king of the vampires, and take back what is yours. As for my identity, well...I feel we will meet face to face very soon." The voice faded away. In the next moment, light filled the soul's vision once again as it opened its eyes. No longer was it simply a soul floating through an endless void for all eternity, but an actual person. He sat up, looking around to see a dense wilderness in all directions. He began to stand up, using a tree for balance. Once on his feet, he took a step, then another, stumbling forward yet remaining upright. It didn't take long for his strength to return to him. He continued forward for a bit longer until stumbling upon a lake. He knelt before it, leaning over the water which reflected the moonlight from overhead. He took notice of his reflection, studying his own face. As his strength returned, so too, did his memories. It was as the voice had said. He was Kaname Kuran, king of the vampires. He knew the purpose of his revival - to aid the vampire race in their war against the demons, just as the voice had told him. The voice - who did it belong to? He couldn't place it, but knew that they would come face to face at some point. As Kaname rose to his feet, a pair of eyes watched as he began strolling away - the glowing yellow eyes of a black cat which blended into the darkness.

As I was in one of the many alliance servers, I found myself confronted with this message I thought. Oh god? How can people reject such a great idea? I decided to join for myself to see the beauty. I assumed that Mr. Cat had been hacked by one of the incompetent secretaries and decided I wanted to help him! = I mobilitized to stop the hack but then noticed that the serious negotiations had once again started! Amazing! Merging, seems like a very political word so I like that I guess. What was going on? Such intricated politics and diplomacy! I was fascinated by how well it was going! Look back at prohibition. It created a black market for alcohol. And if someone ripped you off, you couldn't go to the authorities, you'd have to deal with it yourself by violent means. Same thing is happening now with the war on drugs. The war on drugs has been a complete and utter failure. It has not gotten rid of drugs, it has only made drug users criminals and it has created a black market which has increased crime and gang violence. All drugs, yes even hard core drugs such as Meth and Heroine, should be decriminalized. Maybe then people who are addicted to the more hardcore stuff will be more open about it and will be more willing to go and get rehabilitated without the fear of being incarcerated.
