Last night, I did something unjustifiable. In response to a forum post made by the leaders of GATO about a treaty they made with VT, I said many things that I shouldn't have. Jokes are jokes, but I crossed the line and then kept going for another mile. The things that I said were offensive, disrespectful and rude. In this letter, I wish only to apologize. I’m not going to sit here and try to sell you all some tale about how I wasn’t thinking or about how I meant something different when I made my comment. I’m not going to try and tell you all why you shouldn’t be angry at me for what I said because that anger is very much deserved. All I want to do is to try to right my wrongs. Firstly, I want to apologize to GATO and VT. Neither of you did anything to deserve the things that I chose to say to you. I should have been much nicer to you and encouraged you, instead of trying to ruin your experience for my amusement. I should’ve thought about your feelings before I started typing out my message. I was inconsiderate and disdainful. By choosing to say what I did, I stole the attention away from you and put it all on myself. For all of those things, I am very sorry. Secondly, I want to apologize to the other members of my alliance, Ignis Aternum. My actions have tarnished our alliance’s name for many months to come. You deserve to have a second-in-command who tries to help those around us, rather than one who makes selfish attempts to strike them down. The things that I chose to say and do last night are a perfect example of how you should not behave. I hope to be a better friend, leader and representative of our ideals in the future. Thirdly, I would like to apologize to our protectorate, Error 404. Through your association with Ignis Aternum, I have tarnished your name as well. You deserve to have allies who try to help you advance your goals, rather than who harm your ability to achieve those goals due to their selfishness. I hope that I can be a much better ally in the future. Finally, I want to apologize to the PnW community. I offended many of you by choosing to say the things that I did and for that, I am truly sorry. Many of you immediately stood up to me to make sure I knew that what I did was wrong. For that, I thank you. I was a bully and I deserved to be told off. In the future, I hope to be much nicer and more considerate of others, no matter the ranking of their nation or their alliance. Ultimately, it is just a game and those things don’t matter. We are all humans and we all deserve to be treated as such. The fact that we’re behind usernames and screens does not give anyone the right to spew vulgarities and rudeness. An apology is the first part of righting my wrongs, but taking action is the second. Upon posting this letter, I will be entering vacation mode for the next two weeks to give myself time to reflect upon my choices. I hope to determine if there was a deeper reason for why I chose to do and say the things that I did so that I correct it and avoid hurting more people in the future. When I return, I hope to be a much better friend and community member to all of you.

Why were you doing a "test war"? At first glance, this appears to meet the definition of war slot filling. It does not appear to have been a war declared for the purpose of, you know, having a war.

Personally, I find it neat when protectorates of the same alliance ally each other. It's a good way to make friends before "graduating." Congrats on your treaty!

1. Right now, there are two buttons (2k and 20k) that allow you to increase your players' stats. Could we have a button that would merely 100 that stat? Perhaps make it a pure 0.25x gain since the range is 0.15 to 0.35? Implementing this suggestion would reduce the number of clicking necessary to get a player to 100, which could make the game a little less cumbersome. edit: I want to be clear, that I'm not advocating the removal of the two existing buttons, but instead suggesting the inclusion of a third "max" button. 2. Allow those who have donated for a custom baseball logo also to have a custom stadium image? Rolling out this suggestion would be along the same lines as the City Headers that are customisation through VIP but would be pegged instead of "team customisation" which comes through the logo change donation. This customisation could make donating for a more customisation team more attractive. Perhaps also allow players to upload their team jerseys or at the minimum a minimum allow them to configure customised hex colourings? 3. Auto-hide the blow-by-blow table that shows how the game went. While a lot of folks may find that enjoyable, some don't need to see the granular details and instead only want to know the final results. Alternatively, relocate the play next game to above that table. 4. Change the current random challenge to instead allow players to set a random bounty on the challenge. For example, if I wanted to set a 100k wager on a random challenge, then some random challenger would be able to automatically play against me and one of us would win that money. This would make it easier to play challenge games and also make it more fun for folks who want a more random chance.

JOINT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE VOID TOUCHED AND THE GLOBAL ALLIANCE AND TREATY ORGANIZATION Optional Defence and Optional Aggression Pact between the Global Alliance and Treaty Organization and The Void Touched Preamble In recognition that the Global Alliance and Treaty Organization and The Void Touched agree to peace, friendship and to grow and support each other as time passes. Article 1 - Non-Aggression No member nation of either signatory alliance may attack a member nation of the other signatory alliance. Even without the message of the Soviet Union, Durotar is ready to dispatch further personnel to decrease amount of the causalities. The Red Crescent Medical detachment would be sent to help maintain the situation. Parts of the other two armies sent to the Soviet Union which were not acting in the Caucasus front are sent with the Red Crescent detachment for the nuclear crisis. The rest of the forces are sent to more important frontiers. The Union calls for a change of overall plans for the civil war. Representatives suggest a suppression campaign on the white army, on a smaller but more deadly level as it was done during The Great Patriotic War. A constant barrage of artillery, especially focused on rocket artillery as a majority of the white army consists infantry, and their armoured units are used on rare occasions from present experiences. For such a large scale change of plan, it would take some time to prepare and change up production to manage constant resupply of ammunition. It is proposed that some outdated motorized and mechanized vehicles could be re-designed into Katyushas or used to drive ammunition to the front for the artillery most importantly. The suppression campaign would also have attacks on locations that would be considered a must to hold for the white army, which would be made into meat-grinders for whites. The Representatives say that it if the campaign goes through, both morale and numbers would be diminished from the enemy side. It would easy up other fronts as they would have to pull out troops to maintain the main lines. They could make a different proposal or changes to their plans if they desired so. It is just a proposition in the end.
