  7. So, just to clarify. The number 113 alliance, with eight members, and an average score of 442 and a total score of 3,562.02 is declaring war on the number 6 alliance, with 187 members, and an average score of 1,252.05 score, for a total of 234,132.44 score? I appreciate the enthusiasm, but there's a clear ending here.

  12. I'm just finding out about this situation, so I'm going to lock this thread while I investigate and make a moderation decision. This is also a warning that posting anyone's RL information will get you in big trouble here, in-game, or in the official P&W Discord Server.

  14. Yeah, raw player numbers don't tell you the full picture if most newbies quit in the first week. Couple more months of recruitment and growth and if player numbers are near 6,000 then, most of the damage IQ did was been repaired. I wonder if changes to the war system to stop massive down decs would also help with player retention since newbies getting stomped by raiders on low Infra/military but max soldiers with x2 the cities is frequently something which causes large amounts of newbie attrition.

  15. Ummm, the war started when I was still in lalaland, the war ended when I was still in lalaland. So we've been defeated when I was still in lalaland. GG.

  18. Some !@#$ spied off one of Fraggle's nukes ? There's straight up no reason to do that. Fraggle is way beyond the bounds of being threatening, so the only thing such spying could accomplish is to cause damage to a precious Orbisian treasure. The NERVE of some people... https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=167629 This guy, to be specific. Someone kill his spies ?

  23. @Alex Here we go again multis on Test & according to Le rules ....... Multiple Nations on the Same Network Each player is allowed to have one account and nation. Having multiple nations is a bannable violation. There is no limit on the number of nations that can play per network, so long as each nation is owned and controlled by a separate individual. Some restrictions will be imposed automatically on nations on the same network to prevent cheating. Using Alliance Banks to evade trade restrictions imposed on nations on the same network is a bannable offense. Two nations on the same network are allowed to be in the same alliance, but they are not allowed to declare war on the same nation. Failure to follow this rule will result in a nation strike the first time, and a ban the second time. 1: Multi dance Having multiple nations is a bannable violation. 2: Breaking Bad but they are not allowed to declare war on the same nation 3: Hurting Test servers Feelings Failure to follow this rule will result in a nation strike the first time, and a ban the second time 4: The infection spreads 5: Slot Filling made easy War Slot & Espionage Filling Declaring war on a nation without the intention of fighting them is punishable by a nation strike and additional punishment for multiple violations. You are not allowed to declare war on nations to prevent them from being attacked by other nations. So now you give it a try and with practice you can be using multi's and slo....oh wait wrong thread. Whelp that's all folks take it away admin.

  27. Yes, ships are an important factor of rushing beige... some things about that though: A. rushing beige is an awful idea in terms of preparing for the second round. You're not gaining any new beige time for yourself, and if you're the defender then you're simply opening up that defense slot to an immediate fresh attacker. I shouldn't need to describe how detrimental that is to your other fronts. B. Pure ground forces can force a beige 24 turns after declaration* and are a critical component of the standard fastest raiding manuver of 3 ground 5 navy which can force a beige in 23 turns after declaration*. This is compared to pure navy which requires 26 turns after declaration* to threaten a beige. I'm not even sure where you got your 15 turns number, there's no way to achieve that even under perfect circumstances, not even close; that amount of time buys you 7 ground battles or 5 naval battles, both of which shave off 70 at maximum. C. Ships cost cash, steel, and are efficiently destroyed by aircraft, which they cannot defend themselves against. This is the main reason that aircraft are considered dominant; they hard counter everything except soldiers and other aircraft by virtue of crippling tanks and sinking ships at relatively low cost and no risk. D. To counter ships, one needs only build a few ships. Sure it forces the non-ship guy to spend resources, but it's either that or eat a beige which invariably costs much more than the actual ships, especially considering that evacuation of resources is obviously unlikely without ships. (Or counters.) The aircraft can as usual punish any breakout attempts, the ships are just there to give the aircraft time to work and to avoid the instant, and embarassing, loss that you're aiming to force by using heavy navy. Alternate counter: Pure ground. Pure ground attacks force a beige slightly faster than pure naval attacks do. *'after declaration' numbers based on number of turns after the server initially processes the war declaration. Basically, if you declare just before a turnchange, I'm counting that as the full turn that it is. Numbers calculated from default 6 starting action points; add one turn if Fortress policy is in play. Subtract one turn (and the defenders' dignity) if Blitzkrieg is in play. Obviously, these numbers assume immense triumphs in each action.

  31. It's been said before... but it really doesn't stop being true: If you're confident enough to protect someone, you really shouldn't be in need of a protector your own dang self. Nor should a protectorate make a quasi-independent bloc, for exactly the same reasons. (I'm looking at these tiny alliances... what are y'all doing smh)
    1 point
  32. So... #77 protects #114. This means I think we're gonna need a bit more granularity in the definition of 'micro'. There's protectorates... then there's protectorates that protect protectorates. That's three right there; the protectorate, the protectorate that's uppity enough to have its own protectorates, and the micros so damn micro that they have a protected micro as protector. Then there's this guy who's protected by a protectorate, himself protecting a yet more micro micro... ...and Camelot way at the bottom getting raided by those. So, that's protectorates > micros > millicros > Camelot? Sound about right?

  33. Error You cannot spy on this nation because they are outside your spy range. You can only spy on nations that are -60%/+150% of your score, are less than 10 ranks above your nation, or are actively engaged in a war against you. But i sent a threatening message and called them bad
