  3. I went to tCW for a protectorate treaty actually. The terms laid down seemed to be more of an MDAP treaty than a protectorate treaty Unless you are looking to be a puppet(which GS has always been), I don't think I will ever try that unless they change their outlook on what a protectorate treaty is supposed to be.

  5. Alternative suggestion: reduce city timer or cost, for people below the median city count of the game? Allows new players to integrate faster into the game, so long as they (or their alliance) can afford it.

  6. Guys I discovered the cause of coronavirus. Alex found a meteor in the Black Forest and took it with him At his home he's been experimenting with some liquid that looks like spicy Mtn Dew and performing experiments on small creatures turning them into grotesque, mutated forms. Guys what do we do?

  10. Order of the White Rose Turns Four Four years ago today a journey began. The road; winding, perilous at times, has carried us over some astounding highs and through some unbelievable lows. And yet, exceeding even my expectations, it leads ever on. To all who are and who have ever been Kith within the Order of the White Rose, I thank you. Whichever the parts of the journey we shared, we are where we are only because we shared it. So on we go. To capture the next horizon. Sval

  12. He actually spent all the cash on land. You successfully gathered intelligence about Fenris. Your spies discovered that Fenris has 33 spies, $100,000.00, 74,468.00 coal, 42,528.00 oil, 146,303.97 uranium, 92,883.00 lead, 101,198.00 iron, 66,726.45 bauxite, 669,795.24 gasoline, 239,270.47 munitions, 729,135.74 steel, 352,216.53 aluminum, and 19,647,449.27 food.

  13. There seems to be an error for the amount of money I got from a beige on https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=1587 This was the intelligence gathered: Note that this player did not log in for from the time of espionage to the time of the beige and was unable to trade/safe in the bank. Another Arrgh member scouted just a few hours prior to the beige and found 172 million on the player 03/20 12:32 am You successfully gathered intelligence about Collywobbles. Your spies discovered that Collywobbles has 21 spies, $164,960,637.05, 600.18 coal, 1,087.48 oil, 12,521.50 uranium, 305.64 lead, 2,507.08 iron, 380.37 bauxite, 7,000.96 gasoline, 15,197.02 munitions, 67,978.16 steel, 5,267.39 aluminum, and 0.00 food. This was the beige: I received 800k vs the ~20 million I should have received with raid war + piracy. 03/22/2020 06:12 am Piglantia won the war and looted $870,755, 73 Coal, 152 Oil, 1,802 Uranium, 340 Iron, 53 Bauxite, 42 Lead, 914 Gasoline, 2,028 Munitions, 9,666 Steel, 737 Aluminum, and 0 Food. Collywobbles also lost 4% of the infrastructure in each of their cities. Unless magically all of it was spent on some sort of "f u pirates" infrastructure buying, this seems to be a bug that gave me the incorrect amount of beige loot.

  15. yeah i would say this would actually hurt newer players, its been a few years, but i believe you can pick up cities 10-13 or so in 10 days if you planned it out. Once you get past city 14-15 i dont believe its possible to buy a city every 10 days without outside assistance. Day 1 nations like myself didn't have giant nations or alliances with billions of dollars to help fund our nations. We had to do it the old fashioned way, by working hard and earning it. Damn kids and your entitlements.

  19. Most players are around 20 cities, add in project timers, wars etc. It takes probably around a year to get there. In which time everyone will likely be getting close to 25 cities. Do you really believe allowing them to get to 12 cities is going to let them catch up to those nations who have been playing forever and are at 35 cities? If so then lol. Note I am an older player if not one of the oldest players of this game, I don't personally care about someone catching me up. I personally like being where the majority of people are and helping others to get there. I don't believe my solution is the only one but I wanted to have a discussion about it. Alex seems proactive to improve the game in ways like this and personally I'd like for it to be addressed. This suggestion is to do 2 things. 1 remove the fact that these decisions have been made when enough in the community demand it at random times. That imo is a poor way to do these things going forward. The second is to allow the possibility for nations to catch up to the majority of players who as you pointed out normally are stuck there because alliances don't fund higher etc. (Again much higher than what this suggestion proposes). This definately won't gaurantee that they will ever catch up but if they try hard and are super active, it certainly allows them to. To give an example, I have a guy in my alliance who has dedicated every day in the low tier to raiding and has managed to collect enough cash to get to 20 cities. He put in a lot of effort and has the means to get to where the majority are or aim to be but now has to wait over half a year to get there. Point is most people want to be where most of the game is and most the active people in the game right now are much higher. This is another option I could certainly get behind. I guess it really would depend on Alex if he wanted to majorly change the game or build on what he has done previously. I'd rather a new system but I'm not the one who has to code it or cop abuse from those who will disagree with the changes :P This sort of also hurts what I was proposing. It would mean those on 15 cities would suddenly be subjected to a longer time to build a city than those only a week ago who had to wait 10 days. I don't really see how they'd ever really catch up to the main player base either it just sorta shifts the goal posts and doesn't deal with the solution.

  20. I think 10 is too high already and actually think it hurts the player experience and new player retention. Getting a new city should feel like an accomplishment and something to strive for. When you buy a whole lot of cities all at once, it psychologically cheapens the value of each city as an accomplishment. A concept that might be more interesting and both allow small nations to grow quickly while not cheapening the psychological value of it: Make the city timer not a flat 10 days but proportional to the city that you get. City timer = 1 day * # city bought -1. City 2 you can get your first day, City 3 you have to wait 1 day after buying city 2, city 11 is 10 days, city 21 is 20 days, etc. Getting to city 10 would be 45 days. Not a long period of time, but by spreading it out, it makes it more interesting and psychologically fulfilling.

  23. Excalibur is a Lightsaber??? He had slain all his enemies and conquered the known galaxy! The Immortal Emperor rules over all! However, he sensed that he had missed something. Was the Force telling him? He thought back to a tale one of his commanders told him, some ridiculous legend of a sword stuck in a stone. He who could wield it was destined to be a great and mighty ruler. Excalibur, was it? Perhaps he ought to investigate…. He scoured the corners of the galaxy, year after year, decade after decade, century after century. What a fruitless endeavor; perhaps the Force was wrong? But then he felt it - an immense pull to an obscure location - Camelot. The Eternal Fleet was ordered to warp through hyperspace to find the weapon. In the middle of a barren field, the hilt of a sword protruded from a large stone. And next to it, stood a tall man, dressed in rags. There was nothing exceptional about his appearance. However, he projected a certain aura and had this fierce look in his eyes that seemed….. familiar…. The Emperor watched as the man reached for the sword and grabbed the hilt with both hands. He began to pull with all his might, but the sword did not budge. Still, the man persisted and the Emperor watched. After hours of waiting, the Emperor thought it was now time to put the poor man out of his misery. Just as he was about to raise his hand, he heard a familiar buzz. He looked up, and he saw the hilt of Excalibur in the man’s hand. But, the blade was not made of steel! No, it was a golden lightsaber, the same as the Emperor’s! The man introduced himself as Arthur and proclaimed himself King of Camelot. King Arthur wished to help expand The Eternal Empire. Perhaps the Emperor had found a worthy apprentice…. Preamble Rose and Camelot agree to sign an MDoAP treaty. Article I - Sovereignty Both parties agree to respect each other’s right to conduct its own affairs without external hindrance. Article II - Intelligence Both parties agree to share intelligence, with the understanding that close cooperation is necessary for the security of both alliances. Article V - Cancellation Should either party wish to nullify this treaty, they must give a 72-hour notice before it is made official. 24. Yeah, needs to be balanced. Currently, you can kill a whole months worth of spies. If you have 60 spies and someone has less, they can kill all your spies in one day. Make the daily spy kill cap per operation the same as the daily buy rate. Which is 2 or 3 with intelligence agency.

  25. We have literally discussed this like 5 different time publicly, including on Prefontaine's radio show long ago. TBF this hasn't come up while Bjorn has been playing this game but if need be I can try to find logs. The only reason we haven't been verified is that we had been playing for like 3+ years before that even became a thing, we can do that now though.

  27. Forget Keno, ColB benefited from billions in funding from NPO's manhwa scheme. I don't see any cries to repay all that back. 2 of the beneficiaries are literally in the top 5 alliances right now. No one who fought on the ColB side of the war ever has a leg to stand on when it comes to cheating, ever again.
