  1. Today The Immortals welcome their new official allies in The Syndicate and The Knights Radiant. Discussion have been in the works for awhile, all with the original intention of being activated post-war. However, we have been drawn into the conflict, and because of this, cannot and will not just walk away from our new friends and let them continue to be bogged down in war. We stand with our friends and will remain in the conflict until a fair peace is negotiated for the war. As leader of The Immortals, I don’t have a personal issue with any of the OD alliances or leaders who we are at war with – that is not why we remain at war. A war that lasts this long is not good for the game, nor is peace terms that are too harmful for those they are brought upon. Many good people have and will continue to quit due to the conflict. The game needs balance for it to be enjoyable, so I implore both sides to come to a fair peace and we can all continue enjoying this game for many months and years to come. Until that happens, we will be there in the battlefield. So with that, I ask all nations out there to consider helping bring about a peace and ending to the war. If your alliance has peaced and you still personally believe in the cause, build up your military then come temporarily join The Immortals or other allies in the fight, and help us balance the power. I thank our allies that have stuck with us and continue in the fight, it means a lot. You are not alone! Lord Tyrion The First of The Immortals

  4. Your fortitude is appreciated, Immortals. The $yndicate is glad to stand alongside you, and echoes your call. This war has gone on for too long under questionable conditions.

  5. We didn't leave. We stayed there, trying to negotiate with you and figure out a way past the KT issue. It was you guys that walked out of that conversations over a week before Sphinx did anything. Our server is gone now apparently but t$'s is still there and there's still communication that way. Or via DMs. Instead, you're going around to a number of alliances trying to negotiate individual surrenders, which is very amusing to me since you're trying to disallow KT's individual peace and use their split from our coalition as an excuse to continue to hold us at war. We also didn't drag anyone else in. You did.

  17. That's not my server friend, it's tCW's server. I am but a humble guest in it, much like I am a humble guest in about 7 other servers. I also have 3 servers of my own. You will never have complete information based on logs, for I designed this impossibly and unneccessarily complicated structure with the explicit purpose of denying you your covert victory.

  21. I've taken negotiation classes in business school and have been involved in union contract negotiations. I can tell you that proposing unrealistic terms isn't negotiation. When making a proposal, ask yourself if you really think they're realistic and in good faith, heck ask yourself if you'd ever accept them. Walking into negotiations with the terms ya'll have had prove that you really aren't interested in peace or ending the conflict, so why should anyone on our side sit down with you and listen to what you have to say. Your side has to show some sort of willingness to end the war, and be real with our side. Both sides have to try and mend some sort of relationship and lower the toxicity levels enough to sit down and have a real talk to end the war, but the first step has to be taken by your side in proposing real terms so that our side has a willingness to open their ears and have a real conversation.

  25. "Healthy competition" lmao This is healthy competition? A whole slew of people who see it as optimal to curbstomp less well off alliances? People who choreograph wars to help people recover military? Everyone would have loved get out of jail free cards when you always won. Our advantage wasn't really that great. lol if you think gorge/sphinx/akuryo's actions recently were based "on health of the game" and not just individual self-interest/avarice. "it's harder to fight these guys, so I will literally backstab my side and try to rig the war in their favor." seriously?

  27. I don't think i've hidden my belief that you and select other more moderate voices would be far easier to work with than the hardliners we were made to negotiate with. The times you brought up compromises they were accepted fairly quickly. Perhaps your side's choice of "designated reps" speaks volumes of the willingness to peace of some elements, if not all.

  28. 1. Leaving Co B =/= to joining the war or dragging people in. 2. We did make progress, just because we didn't make it satisfactorily to your expectations doesn't mean we weren't there trying. My apologies for not caring to spend my Christmas with you instead of my family. 3. He kicked everyone out. What he does with the logs is his decision. 4. We told you we have no control over KT and presented several suggestions. Your coalition refused to consider any of them. Additional conversations in no way referred to anything regarding Sphinx, but rather trying to sort out where we all stood on terms. 5. Responsible for what? Protecting themselves when faced with a direct threat? 6. We try to make it a point not to abandon our coalition mates. This was expressed to you at the time.

  32. I don't know what's up with this congnitive dissonance. The peace terms presented are completely absurd and insane. Ask your gov to show you the terms and ask yourself if you would accept them for yourself, and accept them for BK and NPO respectively. You can't say 'just surrender and peace out already retard lol' when the peace terms include giving up our firstborns and surrendering our wives. It doesn't help that the process of negotiation has been made unnecessarily difficult because... reasons I guess. 'Well, fine then, I guess the war isn't ending then!' Yeah, I guess so. The people left active and fighting in Coalition A and in KT are the absolute most insane frickers left after all the others who did the smart thing and quit over the course of last year. You wanna make shit as hard on us as possible, we're going to return the favor. Now, nobody gets to enjoy any peace. Forget Politics and War. This game is just War now. Welcome to the ricefields.

  33. off-topic: off-topic posts have been nuked. Here is an advice for future reference: When you are in page 3+ of a thread and your message exceeds 10 lines, take a deep breath, check the topic again and ask yourself whether your current post is off-topic. Due to cascading effects, the probability this is the case is quite high. At that point, respect the OP and either stay on topic or say nothing and continue your debates to other threads. on-topic: I really enjoy the current war/state of events. Nothing better than coming back home, opening the P&W forums and seeing 173 reports to go through.

  34. I would definitely take North Point as indicative of the overall sentiment of all parties in coalition A, irrespective of sphere allegiances. So if KT refuses to come back to the table- what then? Permawar?

  38. I agree, this is war slot filling. This war is already over, and I won't reverse the action that has happened, but I am going to issue a moderation strike against the offender (George Clooney.) I don't see any reason why two nations of this size would do such little damage to each other unless it was a coordinated slot-fill.

  40. I went out for lunch last night and Roq's forum rampage had just begun, got home and chilled in a VC with a bunch Colo A people, left to make dinner and take it easy for the rest of the night. Went to bed, and now just woke up, kinda feeling like trash so maybe something I ate didn't sit right with me, but Roq's still on a posting roll..........gotta say mate thats Impressive.

  41. CoA has resolve. Are you surprised? Because I'm not particularly surprised by that. OWR/Carthago left when Coalition B's plan was maintain the war and attrition our enemies into nonexistence* (I'm sure you meant to be more subtle "publically" but all the leaks prove deliberate intent) Without getting too deep into paragraph three, because I don't want to speak for Sphinx. All I can say is "we started a war, but didn't want to end up with liabilities when it was concluded" is pretty fricking whimsical and one of those situations where thinking before jumping might have helped quite a lot.

  44. And yet, we continue to pound Opus Dei's enemies. You must be so unaware that you think Opus Dei exists because of NPO. I will not be baited by this. KT members joining Syndicate, when KT members were at best bystanders to QueenM's debacle ruins any idea that Syndicate was "One of the Good Ones".

  46. The only people making peace a difficult thing to attain are the folks who repeatedly walk out of the negotiations. Being Syndicate and KETOG-Chaos. If you want the war to end, you need to return to the table. There is no alternative. And the longer you keep grasping for one, the more you'll end up hurting yourselves and anybody else you manage to drag into the conflict. While I bear no ill will toward the Immortals, an open call to folks who have gone through the effort of actually negotiating their own withdrawals to re-enter the conflict is quite naive and only serves to feed your own delusions of grandeur. You may be content to be manipulated into becoming a meatshield, as Sphinx and friends view you, but I can't imagine there are many others who would want to join you in that. You are a fool to believe that Immortals will have the leverage necessary to force any other outcome than a Coalition B and Opus Dei victory.

  47. Sorry for the late response to this thread, but I did deal with this a couple of days ago. Pretty cut and dry enforcement of the rules on this one - taking a bank and going into VM is against the rules, and the punishment is deleting 20% and returning 80%. That's all been done.
