From the Office of the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth The Commonwealth and it predecessor alliances have prided itself upon a set of unwavering virtues which form the basis of our identity as an alliance and more importantly as a community. Such virtues of loyalty to allies, fairness in dealings, support for those in need and unwavering unity through the harshest of times are our guiding principles, and as such through this global war we've sought to apply these principles in our dealings with any party whilst balancing concerns from both our allies with those of our own. However unfortunately such respect and support we've always sought to provide our allies in coalition B was not reciprocated to us. Our concerns with the conduct of our allies were raised numerous times, whilst we hoped to resolve this current conflict with a satisfactory result for all parties. It was through a combination of disproportionate peace terms presented to our now defeated enemies, hostile acts against uninvolved friends and allies of The Commonwealth, a general sense of derision projected towards us from various parties within Coalition B and a seemingly blatant disregard for the wider community in general through the 'joy' the coalition took in unnecessarily prolonging this war into an obscene 7+ months, which resulted in our relationship with coalition B and more importantly the Black Knights becoming irreconcilable. The latest completely unprovoked attacks upon our allies in TCW Bloc; Weebunism, The Manhattan Cartel, North Point, and Ironfront resulting from a situation which despite the claims of those in coalition B was entirely avoidable if they'd actually had the decency to consult with us and help devise an amicable solution for all parties was not the first of such incidents. Coalition B has engaged in previous actions with perceived impunity against not just our allies but with unprovoked attacks upon neutral outsiders. It was only through negotiations and through the willingness of The Commonwealth for the sake of preserving the unity of the coalition during wartime that The Commonwealth begrudgingly accepted outcomes to achieve peace for our allies and to halt anymore aggression by Coalition B against them. However whilst our patience might be long, The Commonwealth will no longer stand idly by and allow Coalition B to undermine our Bloc and attack at will our friends and allies. Despite being outnumbered as the sole upper tier alliance in Coalition B, the thanks Coalition B provides to us for fighting and taking down the upper tiers of over half a dozen alliances was an array of transgressions which I feel are best summed up by the rather delightfully renamed general chat channel from coalition B's server: All of us in The Commonwealth are aware of the threat to our alliance in making this choice. However as a matter of principle we will not longer tolerate anymore acts of aggression against our alliance, our allies or our friends, regardless of the personal cost to ourselves. Due to the attacks by the Black Knights and New Pacific Order upon our Bloc we will be honouring the defensive call to arms our allies have made and entering under the Article IV Supremacy clause of our Bloc treaty. We will outline in depth at a later date the reasons behind our actions, but we will assure our allies we will stand with them whatever the cost. TL:DR: The Commonwealth declares war upon the Black Knights, The New Pacific Order and Camelot.

The TKR/TCW split was fake

Esteemed members of Orbis, It is an honour to announce on behalf of The Federation and Pantheon, that we recognise that hostilities have been made against our mutual ally, The Immortals, by foreign powers. I would like to present the following speech from a high government member of The Federation, Stanislaw Augustus. "The government wishes for everyone to be aware of the reasons why The Federation has decided to enter the world war and what we can expect from this conflict. Yesterday, our allies in The Immortals were attacked by Coalition B. This violates a non-aggression pact they themselves signed by two months. Within their ranks are experienced fighters, advanced methods for communication and coordination, and the strength of numbers. But they are not without their weaknesses. Fighting for more than a year has strained their ability to finance and supply their offensives. Their leadership’s authoritarian and condescending approach to governing has uncovered division among their ranks. Although supplied by newcomers to the game, their base is inexperienced, relying on their officers to micro-manage most actions. Need we be reminded of our own strength? Since our failed merger in June, the Federation has grown almost 40 thousand in score, saved cash and resources, improved our internal operations, and strengthened and created new friends worldwide. Currently, we rank the fifteenth strongest alliance. The overwhelming majority of our members are experienced warriors who have at their disposal strong militaries, powerful economies, and a fraternal bond unmatched anywhere in the world. While we enjoyed the benefits of peace, the government has made significant improvements to the military and kept vigilant watch of our enemies. Any appraisal of the Federation would show us to be a formidable alliance ready to fight for justice. Our success and the success of our allies shall be entirely dependent on our resolve to this just cause. We must be prepared to endure hardship, and suffer losses. In return, we shall blockade their ports, level their cities, and inflict terror upon their people. Nuclear weapons, espionage, and unprecedented economic sanctions shall further devastate their empire. There is no price too high that cannot be paid when our lives and all those in Orbis are at stake – no violence so brutal that cannot be delivered upon this Babylonic beast. After consulting with people in BK and around Orbis, I do believe there is a suspicion that an account or bot got compromised by another individual in this community. After seeing BK remove more than half of its members (with more still dropping), I think it's necessary to point out that this sort of action will not be tolerated by any regardless of Coalition. I really hate what BK does and says, but genuinely best of luck in bringing your community back to order and resolving this situation. If it is a hack, maybe @Alex can intervene. No one deserves to have their alliance nor community destroyed. I will personally do everything in my power to bring any party involved to justice for actions that should never occur in Orbis. These attacks are despicable. This is a game, and we're supposed to have fun and perhaps engage in some politics. Even if some can't understand that, we should never make it personal or threaten a community. Sorry, to go on this tirade, but I'm pretty pissed off right now about this situation. At the moment, TKR v BK is irrelevant. BK got attacked in an unjustifiable and unacceptable manner. Whoever is doing this, you just made things so much worse for everyone involved. tl;dr: frick whoever did this. Note that I've come to these conclusions myself.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Roquentin the wise? I thought not. It's not a story easy mode would tell you. It's an IQ legend. Darth Roquentin was a Dark Lord of Consolidation, so powerful and so wise he could use treaties to influence the treaty web to create hegemony... He had such a knowledge of consolidation, he could even keep the alliances he cared about from being rolled. Consolidation is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his treaties, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice cancelled his treaties in his sleep. Ironic, he could save others from being rolled, but not himself.

We do hate Col B because of moral stuff, but I wouldn't expect you to understand morals - You've made it perfectly clear by your actions that morals are beyond your comprehension. However let's not pretend its just GOONs - We hate your garbage agenda that's killing the game that so many used to enjoy, and for that we hate BK/NPO and all those who are complacent with you rolling people out of the game. Believe it or not mate, after rolling other players, many of which including our friends, for over 6 months and in return having to deal with your incessant lying, coming up with a new excuse every single time we asked you to peace out with Col A, we kind of got sick of your shit. We were strung along and along, promised a peace deal that would never come. Evidently, this had been brewing for a long time. And no, mate, we don't hug pixels - Which is a pretty awful statement considering we fought alongside you for over half a year. We got rolled for almost a month at the beginning, yet we retained our membership and rebuilt into a proper fighting force that has had a substantial impact on the war. This was not an easy decision, not one we made lightly. Everything peaceful comes to an end. Federation of Commerce States recognizes hostilities with GOONS and GoG. Ironclad had already declared war on GOONS and we are the last member to do so, lets set a blaze to these war starters, our neutrality in Orbis has come to an end.

Let's set TcW aside for a second. Consider that the alliance entering from Fark sphere aren't doing so due to a hate of coalition members. Besides the treaty calls from TMC, it's clear that the vitriolic attitude with which representatives from NPO and some other coalition B alliances have taken towards the game, peace talks and other people is not something that's desirable in Orbis. Y'all can continue to war until you're blue in the face trying to disband your enemies, but everyone else doesn't have to put up with that. It was those same revelations that really started displeasing the "moderate" factions of your coalition. The motivator here is to play in an Orbis where people actually enjoy the game versus being warred to death for the sake of a "win", every precedent being broken for the sake of hegemony and where parties care more about exacting personal grudges than actually engaging in politics. We can point to any specific issue you want as a proxy justification, but this is the real unease that most people including myself feel. So while Sphinx has done some real shitty things to my alliance and allies, it pales in comparison to the bordering-OOC-level crap that you guys pull. I might lose my infra, my money and pixels to people like Sphinx, but to actors like the NPO I'd lose my members, my alliance and its community. Let's call it self-interest or PR. At this point, the distinction is irrelevant because these actions are so blatant that it is one and the same. And as for GOONS, I just know that they are their gov don't share these motivations, and we like many of them because they are nice, cool people. Third we are declaring on goons because certain members love reporting everyone for anything, and they support communism, which is bad in case you didn't know. Sphinx's responsibility for the war continuing does increase, but his responsibility for a (probable) eventual positive peace deal has increased more. Always an even trade.
