  1. It's been 6 days since Syndisphere and KERCHTOG have agreed to surrender to Coalition B, and yet no negotiations have taken place yet. It's almost as if they don't actually want the war to end. For a while they have been making claims that it has been the KERCHTOG leaders that have been stalling negotiations, and now that it's their time for action, they do nothing. Hell Aragorn and Roq didn't even bother replying to those threads. So the question is, what happens now that the leaders of Coalition B refuse to negotiate any sort of peace? Will the alliances who are sick of war on the Coalition B side end up peacing out and risk being attacked like OWR and Carthago?

  2. Today is House Stark's third birthday. Obviously we're not as old as some of our friends here on Orbis, but it's still something worth celebrating. While some alliances undergo major change or encounter problems that lead to their failure, House Stark has stood against the Winds of Winter for 3 years and endured. That's not to say that we haven't made some stupid decisions in our time here, but we have grown past them gotten stronger with each passing day. I'm confident that over the next year we will continue to grow and remain steadfast regardless of whether there is war or peace. We're thankful for all of the allies and friends we've made on our journey, so on Saturday, 11/9/19 at around 6PM EST, we'll be having a music night, hang out get together dealio in our Discord Server. Everyone is invited to come celebrate allied or not, but for our allies we'll be having a raffle for you all to win some $$$. I've been in House Stark for all my time here on Orbis and I'm proud to serve my alliance. I've made some great friends and wouldn't trade it for the world. I look forward to continuing to work in House Stark and celebrate birthdays here for years to come. Hail the King in the North!

  3. After attacking former coalition members such as TFP, OWR, and Carthago just to name a few, they've made it quite clear that they don't care about their public perception.

  4. The problem with going for the “why would we waste time making terms” angle, is that eventually you’re going to have to present terms, so they should have been made a month or so ago. Now I get, to an extent, not giving them terms without them surrendering. However taking as long as it has to give terms after surrendering just... looks bad.

  5. It's becoming quite clear that IQ doesn't want this war to end, at least, not quite yet. I wouldn't be surprised if Farksphere's NAP with them expires by the time this war comes to an end.

  6. Planes are OP. The Jetsons took place in the year 2062. Orbis is currently in year 2045. We're closing in on this important date. Why is it important? We because cars fly. How do we solve planes? Flying tanks. (shoutout to Roz) (this isn't serious, duh)

  8. Well there is some sort of negotiating happening on our side but you're correct about Syndisphere having no negotiations take place.

  9. Roq is just stalling so he would have time to come with a new spin how to stall some more on actually presenting terms.

We invite you to come back and try us again free of charge. We know that a new you is just a war away! "I was once an over inflated @$$ with delusions of superiority. Then i met the NPO and they helped me shed the excess nation bloat that had lead to my condition. Thanks to them I now have a new lease on life! Thanks NPO!" - R. Bulliwyf

  17. Hey man, do some homework before you talk out your ass, Mr. Magical Keno King. Less land buying, more history checking. We did join CoA this war. Then tS left us high and dry on the battlefield for some bullshit unilateral deal they made. So why would we attack our friends to bail out more tS douchebaggery and defacto help out people who hate us? No joke, the same alliance tS went in for is an alliance harboring a Alpha-rogue. Sheeeeet man. That was a no brainer.

  25. Hmm, I wonder if the terms aren't as simple as Sphinx was saying last week or whenever it was? I, for one, would be SHOCKED if they were fibbing when they said all the other side had to do was admit defeat and then terms would be revealed. Sphinx said this earlier on Seb's Peace thread:

  35. https://politicsandwar.com/alliance/id=5942 https://politicsandwar.com/index.php?id=23&keyword=&cat=none&ob=score&od=DESC&backpage=<<&maximum=50&minimum=0 GPWC officially has taken the #1 spot with over 1000 members. The next closest group has less than 200 members. This is the official post to "commemorate" the loss of the #1 spot as an attainable position for any other alliance. With the highest member score being ~1700 (aside from auctor), they have nowhere to go but up. I think the record for highest alliance score is TKR in Knightfall with almost 500k? So they still have 200k to go but they've been growing at roughly 125k score per month so we'll see that done by new years. Congrats to GPWC for breaking records.

But if we're bragging about books we've totally actually read and def. understand like that's some kind of accomplishment and huge own I recently picked up uhh Corey Robin's The Reactionary Mind Charles C. Mann's 1491 and 1493 Robert A. Caro's The years of Lyndon Johnson: The Path to Power (Not that Caro, the other one) Robert O. Paxton's Vichy France Terry Eagleton's Reason, Faith, and Revolution Mary Beard's SPQR

  39. I've seen this "eradication" rhetoric repeating recently with a recurring pattern in the last few pages, and while I understand people trying to keep the thread alive by throwing shit back and forth, I'd just like to point out that this is.. going a bit too far. The Coalition A, monstrosity in itself, had a colossal number of exactly 3 terms to be laid out in the eventual peace talks. One you can guess yourself, the other two were related to bank/nation changenames. I'm pretty sure this was already made public awhile ago, and can be confirmed by a dozen leaders present in that conversation. Merging speculation with one forum post in the heat of the battle, and producing a grand conspiracy out of it 4 months later is hardly any evidence for words that you've laid out/someone told you. The other speculations you've made all stem from the aforementioned false assumption, so I'd rather not get into that and make this a pissing match I'd rather instead reiterate what Partisan said above - The chief obstacle in this war is and has been communication, or rather the lack of it. Both sides have taken the battle to the forums to "one up" the other side, and while that is no uncommon for a global war, this one has been particularly intense and dirty. Combined with misinterpretation and forum battles spilling over to the "talks", if we can call them that, the product is not at all surprising, really. Here's to more clarity in the future, eh?
