  1. An Orbis Chronicle: The Endgame It was a beautiful day in Francoberg, Roqovia’s capital. The public forums were quiet and the waters were stagnant, just as their citizens liked it. At the center was Roquentin’s palatial hamster cage, where the Lords of IQ had gathered to make their ritual offerings of carrots and treaties. At each side of Roquentin’s exercise wheel stood his most loyal advisors: Dio the Dildio and Auctor also known as “Diet Inst”. Roquentin was listening to the complaints of his many subjects who were seeking shelter from the great menace known as Chaos. Among these were NPO’s protectorates such as InfoWars, Goon Squad, and the Black Knights. BK in particular was concerned as they had just finished a massive dogpile against TKR and were caught immediately planning another massive dogpile against TKR. “My lord you must help us contain Chaos”, Leo the Brave and Beautiful leader of BK begged. “They are arguably the 4th, maybe even the 3rd largest sphere in the game and a massive threat to us.” “and why are they fighting you?” Roquentin asked. “Because they found a plan where we said we would fight Chaos and you would hit Keto. I told them it wasn’t true but can you now please hit Keto while we fight Chaos?” Leo answered. “and what were chaos and keto doing before they found this out?” Roq asked. “Uhh… They were fighting each other...” Leo meekly answered. “An obviously fake war! They are fighting each other to give the illusion that they would be willing to fight each other,” Diet Inst said with disgust. “pathetic i agree. as if such empty actions could cause us to stray from the path of dynamism” Roquentin murmured between bites of carrot. “but if we are pinning keto down, are you confident that 4:1 odds will be enough for you to defeat chaos on your own?” the Rodent of Consolidation asked. Leo sweat nervously. “Uhhh we might need some help there too...” he admitted. “Forgive me for speaking Roq, but if we help then everyone will know our split was fake.” Dildio said. “no we will just say the people who suggested our split might be fake these last few weeks forced us to reform,” Roq said. “Didn’t we say that exact same thing about EMC for over a year?” Dildio asked? “uhh…. no,” Roq answered. “Also we have logs of them planning to his us!” Diet Inst insisted. “But we only have logs of people wanting to hit IQ,” Dildio said. “exactly,” Roq grinned. “Plus we could just say we have more logs that we can’t share for... reasons,” Diet Inst suggested. “Didn’t we say that in Trail of Tiers?” Dildio asked? “uhh…. no,” Roq answered. “We could say it's to kill the whales,” Diet Inst suggested. “Didn't we just use that for Knightfall?” Dildio asked, momentarily bringing the room to silence. “so uh... it is agreed. we will involve ourselves in this war and it will be everybody elses fault,” Roquentin proclaimed. Leo threw himself at Roq’s furry paws and wept in gratitude. As the meeting ended and once he was sure everyone was gone, Roquentin pressed a button that was hidden by a layer of wood pellets. A hologram of a pigeon flickered in and Roq knelt before it. “It begins my apprentice. Soon there will be no stopping us,” the image said. Outside the Stronghold of The Knights Radiant The armies of TKR amassed by their Stronghold’s gates where they were joined by their friends and partners. Among them was CuppyCakeYums the Cat Thief, who was munching on his favorite snack. Waddling next to him was JtTeE the Adored and beside him Manthrax the Sad dragged his feet. Hidden towards the back was Ameyuri the Fox selling her usual illicit goods. As they prepared Queen Adrienne spoke. “Our enemies have reunited. Last time they threw everything they had at us and we proved we would not crumble. Today we turn the tide. Today The Knights Radiant and her friends will beat back the Desolation. Today we fight!”

  2. Hello, citizens of Orbis, This is the Queen of Animation Domination speaking. I have come here to make an important announcement... well, two announcements. First, we hereby withdraw from the war. We entered in defense of our allies, not fully aware of what was happening or what we were entering into. We would like to remain peaceful and non-aggressive to both sides during this remainder of this war. Now for the second announcement. El_Barto, leader of AD, has taken time off as leader and I am the new leader of AD for the time being. Thank you for your time and if you have any questions, feel free to message me on discord: spinelli / ragdoll666. ? P.s.sorry about the mix up of the post from hubbys account

  3. This is a just a reminder that you are all playing a game, and that behind each screen is a living, breathing person with feelings. I hope that everyone can be respectful of each other, even when we disagree, and realize that while this is a competitive game, there's no need to take it to a personal level. Be kinder to each other. We can all work together to make a better, friendlier, less toxic community by having compassion and respect for one another.

  8. I can't comment on the other thread anymore so I'm addressing your concerns here on a related thread, @Dio Brando. My alliance was spouting this? I told Marina, your FA head, over a week before you blitzed that I believed the split was real and I reiterated this publicly on the OWF the day before you hit, along with my belief that you intended to keep the conflicts separate, as did Manthrax. My members and gov can have their opinions and viewpoints but the final decisions come down to me, same as with your alliance, by my understanding. NPO's CB, as expressed by you, is predicated on us believing you and BK were one and the same and we didn't. It doesn't matter that you were part of IQ because IQ isn't supposed to exist anymore and our goals in that discussion were against IQ as a whole, not NPO individually, which is what I was trying to express. Regardless, the discussion over these logs is irrelevant because your leader doesn't even reference these logs. You have two different CBs. It cites more recent events, of which there is no evidence beyond an anonymous log you claim belongs to a gov member of mine but, in keeping it anonymous, haven't even given us a chance to dispute it. Also, like I said before, I can show you log after log of me/my gov, in our internals, in our bloc internals, in our coalition channels saying we were against entering against you because we believed you were separate. I don't know who your source is but they are definitely misinformed.

  9. Welp, according to Roll'd and James, I guess I now have to kick majority of KT out, including myself. I don't know what's funnier, James and Roll'd trying to meme or the level of their delusion and detachment from reality, or this game. But KT man bad, amirite?

  10. I have no reason to believe you, having heard some of the spins placed by you on other conversations I've had with people who supposedly have no motive to implicate my alliance in anything false.

  11. What? If I'm making a hegemonic move, I'm not hitting TKR. This is the list of people I'm hitting first for a hegemonic powerplay 1. Ockey/all of Oblivion 2. DTC 3. Horsecock 4. INH 5. Boyce 6. Bluebear 7. Shiho 8. Vlad Case dismissed.

  13. Yeah, wrong. An alliance wide warn is a silly idea: while I understand the argument that there are some communities that are more tolerant than others of that behavior and don't at all think that is okay, I'm still opposed to any approach that paints a collective as responsible for an action that members of that collective may indeed be ignorant. What I want is punishment for the relatively few people who do these things. I don't know how many ways it needs to be said that making death threats about lynching a black player is totally unacceptable and that no one should actually want this player in our community. It's ludicrous I should have to say that once, let alone multiple times. A nation strike is not enough and that is clear to anyone with sense, so I'm saying: fix that. Alex has stated his "the community should police itself" belief in these matters, and I've always disagreed. He's the admin. Yeah, we should all be revolted by what this player has done. But blowing up his pixels is a totally asinine way to express that. Is that what we want to be the political fodder, here? "Come play politics and war. My alliance is planning to fight a war that's about lynching a real life black person!" Get fricking real.

  15. For the record, while I tried to add things to make this story funny for the other side too (hamster jokes, the pigeon reference, etc.), it is of course making fun of them so I do not expect everybody to enjoy this. No need to make fun of people who didn't like it, even though my feelings are hurt

  16. Dude...it's a humor story...not meant as a real description of the game's politics. Lighten up!

  17. I particularly enjoyed this part, as well as the references to hamsters/guinea pigs. The subtle reference to Roq's typing habits on Discord (casual, for the most part) was also well placed. I can't say I agree with all of it, but it was an amusing read. +1 dude.

  18. This is a moderation issue and we've always left it to Alex to determine the outcome on these matters. That's why they are arguing with Alex, not KT. It's also why I am only denouncing the silly commentators trying to get KT banned because of it, not those arguing about actual moderation concerns. I am glad that @Bezzers has been able to split IC and OOC.

  20. You know, it's sad. I love a good conspiracy, but my best rule of thumb for these games is "never put down to conspiracy what could be explained by being inept", and it rarely fails me. : ( Also edit: I'm definitely not jumping on the t$ kumbaya love train here, by the by. You guys made a lot of piss poor decisions, and (and this is your founder who loves you guys talking, actually) I'm glad you got slapped around as a result. I still think you have a ways to go before I'll be applauding you again.

  23. Some of you are just plainly pathetic. I don't think @Alex has to really look much further than to see that people are attempting to use moderation as a political tool. *Note this is not aimed at everyone in this thread, mainly the ones who use an example of one person and equate it on a whole community.

  24. If we want to play political strategist/conspiracy theorist here... What I think they really wanted to do was hit us and do enough damage so that our allies would be forced to help, which would give NPO the excuse they wanted to enter the war without making it look like they were bailing out their old IQ drinking buddies. If NPO just jumped in or crashed into the middle tier as Chaunce alluded to above, then we would just call them out for reforming IQ, which would be terrible PR for them, which if you read the forums is exactly what happened. It would also put giant targets on their backs post war. The problem they ran into, was that Grumpy/Guardian is if not the top fighting force in the game, easily top 3, and we absorbed their hit and turned it around on them pretty fast, to the point were two days later, they needed CoA to jump in, who were also easily put down. When this happened I think, NPO/tS says "shit our sweet sweet political maneuver, just backfired on us, what do we do?" And I think NPO just said YOLO! and rolled out and hit TKR with a flimsy CB in an attempt to lessen the backlash they were going to face breaking tS's rules of engagement. What is really interesting here, is that tS completely tossed NPO under the bus, then put it in reverse and rolled over them again. This kind of betrayal is something I don't think we have ever seen between two major alliance allies before. (note this betrayal goes both ways, NPO breaking tS's rules of engagement, and tS peacing out with the quickness leaving NPO to burn) But the part I find interesting is that tS just pulled an old school tS move. Which was by bouncing out of this war with the quickness, they just deflected a shit ton of hate off of them for attacking Grumpy/Guardian, straight onto NPO, so my guess is after this war ends, no matter the winner tS has probably maneuvered themselves out of everyone's target sights yet again, which is to their credit what they do best. I hope you all enjoyed my Inst, and that other guy that posts stupid stuff on the forums impersonation.

  25. We were expecting to do more throughout the following counters but we had to start somewhere - literally had people who couldn't get slots off the target list from that blitz. I would've been happy to continue the war for a few rounds and systematically dragged you guys down for a while but then that leads us to the question: for what reasons and for whose interests? Trust me, I'm not exactly chipper about letting round one go (as we always do) and then being forced between choosing to let it all go or allow my alliance to be taken advantage of.

  32. Well maybe your tone in that conversation conveyed something else since it was a similar impression that was corraborated by someone else who talked with you and it's very different from what you're saying. It depends on whether the source wishes to out themselves. I think I have a decent track record here of there being at least something behind the stuff I claim and not just making it up especially in these situations. Usually when someone relays information out of concern for the would-be attacked party, it's not necessarily to injure the plotter in question. This is sort of the dilemma whenever someone informs someone else of their intent that can harm a friend of the informed party. In ToT, it was kept quiet and I took the heat. In AC it came out and there were equally negative consequences. So it's essentially a lose-lose. They could like both sides and it puts them in a difficult position. I know for a fact that they would have next to zero motive to implicate TKR in anything false.
