Friendly neighborhood advocate of leaving old allies behind and finding new ones from time to time here. Stating you're leaving being formal allies while still willing to get each others backs if push comes to shove is not breaking ties and getting new ones, it's appearing to break ties and stack on more. Part of the reason you all were hit in the last war. Something I've said often in my time here. You don't have to ally your friends. You can also ally your enemies. Politics is politics. Perhaps you and a past enemy have a new common enemy, or common goal. You can work with people you don't like to achieve things. When you constantly work with your same friends, you stagnate politics. If you'll always get their back with or without treaties while being a papered alliance, you again stagnate politics. If you do intend on breaking your treaties, I hope the next time you're involved together in a war it's against one another. That would make a far more interesting story, and you'd be surprised how fun it can be fighting friends. The point is, don't break the treaty and still support each other as if you hadn't. Break the treaty and forge your own paths independent of one another. Don't fall back and lean upon your former friends simply because it's easy.

From the desk of Uncle Traveling Matt The best nation ever, Fraggle Rock Greetings Friends! It's been a while since we have given an update. This shouldn't take more than five minutes to read, and forty minutes to understand. So we're out of our nuke building phase soon. It's true, we can't do it anymore. You cheap bastards have cut off our funding and 700 nukes is fine. Thanks for the cash, giggles, and theft it took to get here. So what's next Fraggle? Great question. Since we are defined by what some consider the dumbest way to build, we are going in the opposite direction. That's right.... conventional build, with a giant pile of nukes in the basement. The power will be turned back on for the first time in three years. Banks and recycling plants will reopen the doors. No more living in the dark and filth we are currently in. We plan to join an alliance. An incredible offer was made for us to run a PR program. We plan to use Fraggle skills to accelerate growth and new opportunities. It's been fun doing nothing for years. For those of you who enjoyed "secret treaty whining" and "criticizing anyone who actually tries to do anything about the sphere dynamic they purported to found their sphere to combat", the first seven times IQ did it, I have excellent news for you...

I don't spend much time in this subforum, so my apologies if this has been suggested before. I wanted to suggest an increase in the number of alliance government tiers (Leader, Heir, Officer) from three to five, as well as the ability to enable/disable bank access to individual gov members. If five isn't sufficient for some alliances, maybe the ability to add additional fields up to a certain amount with custom titles? I just feel it would make gov organization a lot easier and less restricted.

So no change just picking up two top 10 upper tier alliances.

At its greatest potential, a government member could use his or her permissions to view valuable member info such as warchest, spy count, and money held. Likewise, it holds bank info. Now the plot thickens as 2 TKR government members have given away their API keys and access to valuable spy information for future war plans. Where are the traitors? What compensation do they seek? When will it damageTKR? Who did this info go to? Why did they do this? How was this plot conceived? Find out more next time, on the next episode of SNN.

Not quite sure why people are so concerned about it. Both Syndisphere and IQ are still much larger and have a much bigger economy to support themselves with, even if TCW still held a secret treaty with TKR. I personally find it interesting to see CoS going with papered ties now, and I'm curious as to where TCW will be going. Goodluck with the move though. Maybe a time will come when there's multiple "smaller" spheres to balance out the playing field and make the game interesting again (Granted it'd inevitably go back to a 2 sphere game eventually).

Obviously my voodoo magic to break up EMC worked. But joking aside its a mutual break up, Nizam and I agreed it would be best for both of us. TKR's got some great members, and overall they're a great bunch of people but all good things must come to an end this break allows us to move forward with my goals for tCW's new FA direction. I know several alliances who wanted to work with tCW but didn't want to be tied to TKR (Which is entirely understandable), and this is the chance to embark on those, it also gives tCW a new identity so we aren't "TKR Lite". Once again Shifty's leaks preempt a planned move..... still I'm looking forward to the OWF announcement for tCW's new path and plans. ;,P

Yeah but one ton of iron turns into more than one ton of steel. Lead has generally been higher than munitions on that basis, steel plants still net profit I suspect (though potentially less than iron mines, depending on individual factors). 3 tons iron + 3 tons coal = 9 tons steel, if anything we broke physics

It's harder to virtue signal about decreasing ties if suddenly just because you cancel treaties you can't essentially maintain the exact same treaty dynamics.

Leaks help keep the game interesting in my opinion.

i was saving my suggestions for after admin finished school... but heer u go i suppose admin can get as granular as they will allow got lazy with naming everything so feel free to suggest as many things as yall can think of it can be layered according to category to fit on mobile devices...with +/- expand/collapse buttons im sure someone with more motivation can come up with a better mockup of how it would actually be implemented in game instead of in google forms :3 rawr

Well, looking at him carefully, it seems he's also been buying an awful lot of resources as well and selling steel somewhat... it only barely adds up, but given 33 days, no military ever, and only 2 tiny-ass wars, it's... barely plausible, considering his commerce. He really should be doing raiding though, he'd have a lot more money already. And he'd lose less if he started winning wars instead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ What I can't figure out is how he's only been hit twice; he's worth a free 1.7 mil every war ? And posting on the OWF won't? Join an alliance, man. Doesn't really matter which one, but there's no security in obscurity; either be a raider or a farmer, there's no third option. EDIT: TGH is a solid option and I think you'd be happy there ? (Just, y'know, you will need a military; that's true wherever you go though)

To be fair he has a point, you should prioritise cities early on.. for the cost of 2k infra you could be at 4-5 cities easily.

Today is Nova Empire’s second anniversary since I first created it. I would’ve fathom how big it would be. It has 10 projects and 20 cities with 2.5k infra and 3k land each, not mentioning the millions it makes per day on net income. To those who bought my resources, thank you. Furthermore, I thank the Ming Empire (used to be the og Ragnarok) for supporting my growth.

Eventually this will go full 360 and when KT, TGH and the whole merry band actually go to war no one will believe them till it is to late. That day is when they achieve meme god status and it will be glorious.

Yeah Rozalia was willing to tackle any debate or issue irl or in-game as long as I knew him. Before discord we would talk about Guerrilla Republic and he would say how shit it was in the old in-game messages. He also was always posting on the forums as Buorhann said. Other older players who would post on the forums a lot have left the game as well and I guess the newer players are just not as interested in the forums as they are discord (compared to old IRC).

Sheepy's proposed API changes may affect current bots. I haven't read his changes, though, so I'm not 100% sure.

Something nobody has actually given me room to talk about: His coup was more or less legit imo, mechanically speaking at least. He played his cards well and pounced on the right sentiments in the right moment. Now, it would have all shattered and fallen apart because (as far as I've seen) he's weak as, but he definitely got to the top in a pragmatically legit way. His absolute lack of follow-through and runaway into VM was just straight up silly though, a complete blunder and laughable. To reiterate: 2/10 micros have done better. And putting Pantheon in a situation that was mechanically irreversible while also sacrificing his "active" involvement in-game made it obvious that this was an amateur and shortsighted ploy. And Pantheon should honestly take stock of this situation and be appropriately embarrassed, being completely honest. I hope and pray they learn a thing or two, and am optimistic about that despite the public's lack of faith in them.
