  4. You could always hop on board the Hobo Express and get a feel for the different alliances out there. Thus far the Hobo Express has made a stop at the following locations: 1. Empyrea 2. Bad Company 3. Knights Templar 4. The Underground 5. Church of Spaceology 6. The Enterprise (Where we are currently residing) We will spin the wheel tomorrow night to find out which alliance will be our next stop. Feel free to join us in our homeless expedition.

  7. Ok.....first I do have resources. Second.... .... Two No. This is the best if it's true? Are you spinning a wheel and attacking who it lands on? That seems both awesome and amazing if true.

  8. That wasn’t a part of the Hobo Express. That stop was much more than a random wheel landing on TGH. I love me some TGH.

  11. ...Except for the 'attack' part. We are spinning a wheel, going to the alliance that the arrow lands on and then reviewing said alliance after 1 week of residency. This is the first post explaining what the Hobo Express is all about: This is the most recent thread outlining our expedition:

  13. I really didn't want to get into PnW seriously when i made this nation, but it seems casualty had other plans for me XD. Now that Pantheon is stable and in a good place, it is time for me to bow out of the game(Again). It really has been a memorable journey, with great friends made along the way and proper villains. I would like to thank our membership who stuck through the rough patch, the drastically higher taxes and uncertainty we went through while we got things back in order. Few alliances would of survived what they threw at us, your dedication and trust really did keep me motivated while I was putting those long hours into PnW. I would like to thank our excellent gov who has stepped up and done a truly awesome job running pantheon. I really wish you guys were around when I last lead Pantheon XD. I’m proud of you all :). I would like to thank Partisan, Hilmes, Leopold, and The Syndicate for being such stalwart friends in a game where such things are rare. In so many ways you guys are in league of your own and it’s been a privilege to work with you. And now with that out of the way, I am proud to announce the new gov lineup of Pantheon! 14. I propose we implement a system that makes multiple nation baseball tournaments easier. It works like this; A number of nations sign up for a tournament, with the host nation of the tournament setting the joining fee. For this example, let’s say the joining fee was 1 million, and four nations (including the host) are participating. The current baseball algorithm plays a game between nation 1 and 2. Let’s say nation 2 wins. Then, the algorithm plays a baseball game between 3 and 4. Let’s say 4 wins. Finally, the algorithm runs a game between 2 and 4, with nation 2 winning. Nation 2 wins the four million dollars, or whatever the total amount of money the joining fee was. Of course, the joining fee can change, perhaps even costing recourses instead of money, and the amount of nations participating can change as well.

  17. I like the current login reward system. It builds up after a while, and you get 300k each day. But as you grow bigger 300k becomes less of a bonus and becomes almost nothing. Which is why I propose that more awards be added to the login system, but over a longer period of time. e.g 10 days of continuous login: 1 million, 50 days of continuous login: 5 million (maybe higher, maybe lower, you get the point). Perhaps even change the daily amount from 300k Max to a different amount based in score. 200+ score the max could be 400k. 1000+ score the max could be 1 million. Numbers change, of course, but the basic principle is there.

  21. 1142 days. 3.12 years. That is a long time to have been playing a game. And over those 3.12 years, I have witnessed many things: the disbanding of the GPA, the creation of epic new alliances (TCW, Strategem, TRF and others), the morphing of this game's landscape as a whole from a more simple game, to a game that has myriad new features and new things to learn. I have witnessed the creation of Discord shows, the destruction of alliances, and the changing of the numerous communities on Orbis, whether that be through genuine change or through conflict. I must say that these 3 years have been truly fantastic. I'm not particularly known in the game, and mostly ignorant about the drama, but I am lucky enough to have been graced with the friendships of a few, and the acquaintances of many. I have had the opportunity to conduct diplomacy and to go to war, the opportunity to create alliances, and disband them. I would like to thank a few people: ALLIANCE MEMBERS (GPA folks [if any are still around], TCW folks, Stratagem folks, TRF folks) Thank you all for the wondrous time. From supporting me when I first started this game (GPA cough cough), to being awesome when creating alliances from the ground up, thank you. Literally, 3 years would not be possible without the alliances I have had the pleasure of being in. NATRP COMMUNITY (from way back when) You guys were (and continue to be) absolutely awesome. NatRP holds a special place in my heart, from the days of the GPA (you know who you are), to this very day. Even though I've not been active there in the past few months, it's been awesome to roleplay out events and storylines and have an active group bounce back with reactions and unique implementations that only make the world a more interesting place Special Mentions Queen_M, and Hunter From the GPA days, you've always been both my closest friends in game. Queen_M, it was amazing creating so many alliances together, keeping at bay the unsavoury folk, and generally playing this game with you, but also talking with you. You're a fantastic person! Hunter, you've been at this longer than I have, and our roleplaying waaaay back in the GPA is something I'll never forget. Even more so, the roleplaying in NatRP is something I will treasure. It was an absolute treat speaking with you on myriad interesting topics, including ways to make our roleplaying better and more interesting. Onwards and upwards! (just don't eat my scones) -------------- And so, with a head held high, and a heart filled with content, I take leave of this game, and to an extent, this community, which has been interesting (to say the least)?. I'll still be around on Discord, but my nation will be gone. Good luck out there to those who march forward. It's been great playing with you all! Bye! TL;DR - Leaving the game. Thanks to everyone who made it so great! Bye!

  24. If you combine these 2 responses together you basically get your conclusion. Commerce is not viable in low-mid tiers rn because of the 50% production bonus where you can spam manufactured resources like a turret. So if you want the prices to go up, Sheepy would have to revert the 50% bonus or nerf it down, to make commerce more viable than resources again. Than you'll have money rolling around and resource production will be more scarce. Actually, the total combined cash economy in the world has pretty much all but halted the last 6 months, we used to see big spikes in the overall capital of the economy with an influx of new players, but recently we've seen a growth in thousands but the money supply has dried up and stagnated because of the resource rush. But, why would we even want the resource prices to go up? We're currently enjoying an oasis where building warchests is no longer a multi month endeavor. Hence you have a lot of freed up cash to build cities which have costs that Alex nerfed into the ground, so what you get right now is exactly what the low tier has been moaning about for the entire past year.

  25. Yea I don't think it should be tied to score or age. However I do think it should be raised. A million a day would encourage far more activity then the current bonus, and the new player bonus could be changed respectively, and perhaps elongated.

  26. Better question, how high will prices have to go before you'll shut up about them? Stop complaining before the Sheep man intervenes.

  27. Alright here's a few QoL improvements I thought I'd suggest, others feel free to add their own small changes. Nothing suggested should change major mechanics of the game. 1: Get rid of decimals from infra. Makes rebuilding a pain in the butt. Either just round up or down from infra damages. 2: Get rid of decimals from resources. Keep everything to even numbers just makes it easier to deal with. 3: Remove VM nations from alliance stats. Makes the alliance stats a more realistic representation of the alliance as it currently is. 4: Bulk Buy infra to a certain level

  30. Lol dude I'm black. It's a satire. ?Minor edit; My name was originally Tom Riddle for discord, it was changed when SLY rebranded to RR; a new name was needed and I dropped Riddle and added uncle because I was like a father figure to some of my members but not quite. Then I remembered who uncle Tom was. Also if you'd like to scrub uncle Tom from people's memory that's not okay; it's history as well as a phrase used to express selling out.

  31. Katashimon13 is one of the few people capable of completely and utterly running and performing the entirety of the affairs of an IA department, Econ department, and Milcom department, all at the same time, and has been regularly putting in that kind of work in this world and another similar world for damn near a decade. Katashimon13 has also, to my recollection, never once touched FA, and thus has never sought the head honcho status in an alliance. As it is, all Ethos would seem to need to do is enter the job without the baggage of public opinion that The Emperor had, and he'll be off to a flying start.

  34. CNer. Also, what's wrong with a 5 city nation running an alliance? It beats having a 29 city nation that uses the rest of the alliance to fund his nation growth.

  36. Hello boys and girls, today we're going to be investigating a dark side of the Orbis-verse, filled with all kinds of dark mysteries and scary propositions. Syndisphere periphery.. So here we have The Syndicate: A bold and beautiful alliance, no doubt. The only thing more green than their theme is their treaty screen. But! ..you might say.. This is nothing new? We always knew about the Syndicate's infatuation for protectorates. Ah! Well that's where.. you'd be wrong young adventurer. Here we have Dark Brotherhood, an alliance protected by the Syndicate. No doubt, another bold and beautiful alliance. Now our dear DB protects the Church of Atom. ...which is also protected by the Syndicate. So Syndicate has a protectorate which protects their protectorate. But wait.. You think we were done? The Church of Atom protects Alpha. So the Syndicate not only likes when their protectorates protect their protectorates, they also like when the protectorates protected by their protectorates which they protect, also have protectorates. But we're not even done yet... Alpha protects the Animal Farm ..Which is also protected by Church of Atom. So not only does the Syndicate like when the protectorates protected by their protectorates which they protect also have protectorates, they also like when the protectorates protected by their protectorates which they also protect have protectorates which have protectorates that they protect. Oh yeah.. and the protectorates protected by their protectorates which they also protect that have protectorates which have protectorates that they protect have a random MDoAP with TRF, just to make things more clear. if you listen into the distance you can clearly hear dying hyperventilating hippo sounds. So finally, this is what this rabbit hole looks like:

  39. I'm looking to add a lot of new National Projects to the game to increase diversity, specialization, and dynamism in-game (while giving larger nations more to do and more options to pick from.) So expect a lot of posts like these. Initially I'd just like to get feedback on the ideas and proposals for number tweaks. Name: Naval Air Support System (NASS) Description: Converts some fraction of your nation's navy to 'aircraft carriers' or ships capable of defending against aircraft. What it does: Allows your ships to fight back against attacking aircraft. Each ship would count as the equivalent of 1 Aircraft in defensive airstrikes targeting your navy. Example: Assuming two 20 city nations, maxed out in military, each would have 1800 Aircraft and 300 Ships. This means that the attacker would be facing 2100 "aircraft" when doing an Aistrike on ships if the defender had this project (about a 16% boost.) This would not directly impact ships destroyed, but it would increase the number of offensive casualties and reduce the likelihood of offensive success. Proposed Cost: 2,000 Steel, 5,000 Aluminum, $40,000,000 --- Now, please offer your thoughts. Numbers could be tweaked from each ship being "1 aircraft" to the cost of the project.
