I want resource prices to go up cause I am maxed on steel prod

Then fight a more even sided war and have it last long enough to burn resources.

Cash in PW is pretty much just another resource that everyone produces that can be directly exchanged for other resources isn’t it? Like it’s used for infra, cities, military, etc as if it were building material irl. Not a new idea by any means but I’m still a fan of making it so cities and infra require a massive resource investment as well as a massive cash investment.

Good we’ll be able to war for years with prices this cheap.

I mean. My fault for trying to be even handed in a thread with this community, probably. But my point wasn't that those were horribly offensive things so much as it took me less than 5 minutes to easily find three jokes that were as offensive to other groups as the one you were supposedly calling out. So if you want to make things more inclusive/less offensive, I have a place for you to start. The idea that you'd assume "Uncle Tom" necessarily had a racist implication while having a channel that has the acronym KKK and being ignorant of that is just ridiculous, though, so obviously you have no intention of looking at the problem earnestly. So yeah, I'm out.

If you combine these 2 responses together you basically get your conclusion. Commerce is not viable in low-mid tiers rn because of the 50% production bonus where you can spam manufactured resources like a turret. So if you want the prices to go up, Sheepy would have to revert the 50% bonus or nerf it down, to make commerce more viable than resources again. Than you'll have money rolling around and resource production will be more scarce. Actually, the total combined cash economy in the world has pretty much all but halted the last 6 months, we used to see big spikes in the overall capital of the economy with an influx of new players, but recently we've seen a growth in thousands but the money supply has dried up and stagnated because of the resource rush. But, why would we even want the resource prices to go up? We're currently enjoying an oasis where building warchests is no longer a multi month endeavor. Hence you have a lot of freed up cash to build cities which have costs that Alex nerfed into the ground, so what you get right now is exactly what the low tier has been moaning about for the entire past year.

I never was much for tradition. Never made a farewell thread back in November when I quit, but having logged in now to quite a few messages inquiring why; here's a quick one. The game got very boring for me a long time ago. When it got to the point of affecting RL and dreading having to even log in; I quit. I always played for myself, and that's exactly how I ended it. Probably what sums up this game for me is, despite having quit 5 months ago, I am still #1 on the tanks destroyed leaderboard with a 280k+ lead! Most of my friends are long gone but, anyway, thank you for the great time everyone. Have a good RL!

Problem with expecting a war to reintroduce scarcity is that for market prices to be higher, you also need a lot more cash rolling around. A big war scenario is more likely to result in high profit things for that cash to be spent on rather than resources at this stage of the market.

I mean. With the resistance mechanics being what they are, you can beige people, taking cap infra off all of their cities, without necessarily needing a large resource commitment. The problem is that most resources just aren't super necessary. Short of abruptly deleting some obscene amount of everyone's stockpiles or majorly overhauling the war systems, I think this is just how it's going to be.

This is good for new players who haven't reached the point where they can get a manufacturing project. They can produce raw resources and get better rates trading it for manufactured resources.

Alright here's a few QoL improvements I thought I'd suggest, others feel free to add their own small changes. Nothing suggested should change major mechanics of the game. 1: Get rid of decimals from infra. Makes rebuilding a pain in the butt. Either just round up or down from infra damages. 2: Get rid of decimals from resources. Keep everything to even numbers just makes it easier to deal with. 3: Remove VM nations from alliance stats. Makes the alliance stats a more realistic representation of the alliance as it currently is. 4: Bulk Buy infra to a certain level

I 100% agree with everything Kastor said. On the note of moderators removing offensive imagery, I'd like to also propose the moderators compel Kastor to change his profile picture to someone other than Drake. I find this imagery offensive as someone who enjoys good music.

Grow some thicker skin I say; even if you find his name offensive. Also I think you should use the war feature rather than mods if you don’t like someone.
