  4. Allow new players (while in first beige) to attack a specific nation(bot) for training. This can be part of the tutorial to teach new player the basics of war, with some reward being given at the end of the attacks/war. Written by @Ripper &OP

  5. Royal Skirmish In a friendly bet war bet with Raeiska; its been decided; If I only beat 1 of them only, I pay out $5m & $10m if I lose to all 3. If I win all 3, they pay out $10m. If I win 2/3, they payout $5m. Anyone who wants to do any side bets on who will win are welcome to it.   6. Go for it then. You wanna start a war cause you can't your allies be the Big Boys yah said they were when dealing with EE and ask themselves, have fun i guess. We had no knowledge of his intentions and even had our first guy on him before he hit anyone in Emp. Uh, what? There's no bet. Noctis is betting he can do anything but die. That's on him, and solely him, it has nothing to do with me or any of my people that hit him. Nobody colluded with Noctis to make this bet, nobody even expected him to make some random thread about it. The fact he wants to bet he can handle this is on him, and no one else. You wanna start a war on that, will be even funnier than before. Ultimately if Empryea want's to beige cycle Noctis so that Empryea will stop being adversely affected by his activies, Empryea, being "Big Boys who can handle themselves" as you said, should handle themselves, and ask others involved. The Golden Horde however, should not be asking therefore, especially lacking any evidence aside from Noctis irritating them that this is infact their sovereign will. Lastly - You have like no one i range of that micro. I have like two guys in range who won't be soon. So really you're just looking at me there, keep your eyes focused.

  10. Why should I care about your ally? Anymore than I do about anyone else's? They're not special and they're not my ally, so if they would like me to do something they'll have to communicate that with me because I cannot read minds. If you show such a disregard for simply being wrong, then why bother arguing in the first place? Why bother acting like you need to make a reason? If facts don't matter to you and you just want to flex, then stop bothering with any arguments. Don't care bout your terms anymore than I do about an alliance that isn't my ally getting raided. If Empryea cares about this even 1% as much as you do I'm sure they'll tell me about it themselves. You're not their FA team and I won't treat you as such.

  11. Exactly my point. They might be your allies, but they're not mine, they're not even cherished investors. They don't even have to ask me, Skitz is low gov, he has the authorization to handle something like this. He's real friendly too i'm sure if asked nicely he'd try to help.

  12. @MonkeyDLegend damn you for being lazy. Monkey had an idea of having a few dummy nations around for the new players to attack, while staying in beige (for the first 14 days of protection). That way, they get to get accustomed to the war mechanics and have some "action" without having to wait for too long. This could indeed be part of the tutorial/objectives. The nations per se would give no loots. Wars could last for 2 days as always or could be shorter for those specific nations.

  14. I propose we implement a system that makes multiple nation baseball tournaments easier. It works like this; A number of nations sign up for a tournament, with the host nation of the tournament setting the joining fee. For this example, let’s say the joining fee was 1 million, and four nations (including the host) are participating. The current baseball algorithm plays a game between nation 1 and 2. Let’s say nation 2 wins. Then, the algorithm plays a baseball game between 3 and 4. Let’s say 4 wins. Finally, the algorithm runs a game between 2 and 4, with nation 2 winning. Nation 2 wins the four million dollars, or whatever the total amount of money the joining fee was. Of course, the joining fee can change, perhaps even costing recourses instead of money, and the amount of nations participating can change as well.

  15. The proposed 'Empire' feature would make the wars in this game similar to wars throughout history, especially in ancient times. (Yes, I am a history buff.) When you lose a war, for the next 84 turns 10% of your income post-alliance taxes goes to the victor. Here's how it would work: Changes To The Current War System: Zip. Zero. Zilch. Everything will remain the same, from the declare war button to MAPs and resistance to collecting end-of-war money and resources. Financial Impact: This is the major change. From the moment one side wins, they automatically get 10% percent of the opponents income, post-alliance taxes. Trade/Rebuild Impact: This isn't like a blockade, where the blockaded person can't trade. You can still do normal trades and rebuild infra and military as you normally would. You may rebuild slower due to the reduced income, especially if you just lost multiple wars. Other Impacts: Can't really think of many. The only real impact is the 10% income loss. However, this can add up and could benefit war alliances like Arrgh. It probably will lead to more mass raids and small scale wars, because now, if you win, you get 10% of the opponents income for a week after. If you beige 3 nations with 4 million gross revenue per day, you'll get 1.2million dollars per day, which adds up to 8.4 million over the course of the week.

  16. It's not a lack of knowledge, it's a lack of reason. And one jackass on the forums known to say he'll roll you just for the heck of it saying he'll roll if you don't doesn't exactly count. Still waiting for any sign from Empryea they care anywhere near as much this. I saw Royalist here so I know they're not unaware. Try letting them do their job instead of you taking over.

  17. I'm thinking the game could spawn a new nation everytime someone reaches that objective with sufficient infrastructure and forces. Maybe put some loot in too. When the war ends, the nation would get deleted. To avoid bugs, the target nation would only appear to the player which reached the objective. If others put the nationid in, the game would say that the target nation does not exist.

  20. I like it - how would their militaries and infra be managed though? Respawn every day at a certain rate or what? And what would the objectives be? I think this has a lot of potential though, since navigating the war screen is a pretty crucial aspect of playing the game, especially for new nations.

  33. Just a small suggestion, it would help immensely to see what embargoes are in place if you could filter out embargoes on Mountania for the objective bonus, since they clog up dozens of pages of the list.

  35. @Angel Lara iirc, MOST alliances don't require participation in raiding. Some do not allow raiding. Pretty much every alliance except GPA (dead, but there are GPA wannabes) has always required members to engage in wars in defense of the alliance, or in furtherance of the alliance's goals. If you want to dodge wars entirely, you'll have to whale up super big and find a fatty-whale-alliance...but lately even THEY have been warring. NOBODY wants a war-dodger.

  39. I'm looking to add a lot of new National Projects to the game to increase diversity, specialization, and dynamism in-game (while giving larger nations more to do and more options to pick from.) So expect a lot of posts like these. Initially I'd just like to get feedback on the ideas and proposals for number tweaks. Name: Naval Air Support System (NASS) Description: Converts some fraction of your nation's navy to 'aircraft carriers' or ships capable of defending against aircraft. What it does: Allows your ships to fight back against attacking aircraft. Each ship would count as the equivalent of 1 Aircraft in defensive airstrikes targeting your navy. Example: Assuming two 20 city nations, maxed out in military, each would have 1800 Aircraft and 300 Ships. This means that the attacker would be facing 2100 "aircraft" when doing an Aistrike on ships if the defender had this project (about a 16% boost.) This would not directly impact ships destroyed, but it would increase the number of offensive casualties and reduce the likelihood of offensive success. Proposed Cost: 2,000 Steel, 5,000 Aluminum, $40,000,000 --- Now, please offer your thoughts. Numbers could be tweaked from each ship being "1 aircraft" to the cost of the project.

  44. Saw no reason to do it before seeing how far the down voters would try taking my score; although always had a free ruler name change & planned to use the full name of my Character originally. (Was being lazy when creating this account & didn't know if I would even play; created the nation hesitantly to join the alliance of a friend) However my original nation got autodeleted, back when that would happen from being inactive a bit.

Such as down vote him please, bad on your Prefontaine; you responded to Noctis against my wishes & need to do as I say. You alliance aren't doing it right and attacking Noctis in the most dragged out way possible (While I watch on the sidelines and deny all involvement); even though the Hippo avoids direct confrontation & always tries acting innocent & diverting blame for all he does. (Blame Prefontaine & everyone else for what he asks them to do, etc) Then when I take notice of how disturbed an individual he is; acts like he does nothing wrong & blames everybody else for what he spends a lot of time convincing people to do for him; or make up pointless lies regarding myself. (Such as telling people I asked him where he lived or something? Did I mentioned Disturbed in the head?) Hippo is just special beyond words, his obsession with me fascinating. inferiority complex maybe?

  46. when i look at new nations page or when i go and trade i cant believe that there are nations that have such stupid names like "Soviet Nipples" or United States of Murica with a score of 2000 no less. not sure about you but me and many others would some times spend 30 mins or even 2 hours coming up with a backstory for there nations and give it a good name and flag then i see that the guy who wants me to join is Alliance is some really awful joke name that kinda kills the mood for a lot of players my self included im not asking that you punish this players it is not my job to screw with there rights nor would i want to but i have a simple idea to fix this issue. for new nations that join in the game just as how they can make a bit of money for doing a test they should be rewarded if there nation has a decent bit of thought put in to it or the name is fitting this would all so bring in more people who enjoy history or alt history after all the target player is the some what educated person with a decent liking towards history and politics perhaps im just running my mouth but what do you guys think? should we try and get more people in the game who love history by having this? will it be seen as stupid by some? will it not help? i really would like to know
