Over the past couple days the knights Templar has been troubling the offbeat powers. It originally started whenever they told us to change our bloc color in which their request was ignored because it's obvious the only reason why they'd want us to do that is because they want bigger money bonus. Then, over the next day, they proceeded to perform espionage attacks against us we know this was an act of aggression, because we didn't move away from red bloc because they have declared war against people for that same reason, as seen in ones cassis bellis. Offbeat powers is taking this moment to acknowledge that we find this as a active aggression and will respond with a war if needed completely open to anybody that feels that they would like to join in. Hello everyone, If you look back on my old forum posts, you'll see that I've struggled to find my style. They're kind of all over the place. I suck at role-playing and stuff and not a great story teller. So I am starting this series so I can let my thoughts out and speak candidly with the community. Firstly, shout out to Politics and War for being a fun game. Now I'd like to talk about the businesses that are offered by PnW players. As some of you may know, I ran a moderately successful bank called Goldward Banking Corporation. and we recently merged with another bank of similar size, Leviathan Bank. The new enterprise, Manticore Bank is set for greatness, and I am still confident that significant growth and profits await. Now, for my other project I've been working on. The Alaska Foundation (TAF), my idea for a non-profit within Politics and War. The idea was that we would garner contributions and distribute in the form of grants; for cities, projects, etc. It hasn't been tried before, to my knowledge, outside of alliances. So recently, a new player named Hughes decided it would be fun to accuse TAF of being a Pyramid Scheme. See Graphic below. This is quite laughable, and Hughes even admitted that it was a joke and he didn't believe what he was saying. So that caused me some temporary anxiety, but I'm glad it was sorted out. I agree with Mad Titan; I doubt this will go well for you but wish you luck. Your best chance is involving a large alliance with some grudge towards them. I also agree with Machiavelli though that you shouldn’t tolerate it so it’s honorable not to be afraid and submitted to it.

I propose that the bounty system be changed. Agreed, it is good as is, but it definitely has room for inprovement (i.e sorting by war range). I think that the bounty system would benefit if more bounty types were added. What I mean by this is that along with the usual nuclear, attrition, raid etc. we have the option for bounties that target specific things. E.G Nation 1 posts a bounty on Nation 2, saying that whomever attempts the bounty needs to destroy XX amount of X (XX meaning number and X meaning different nation variables (infra, tanks, soldiers, ships etc.))

What are those poles? What should we do if those poles you name just fought a war on the same side and appear to be pretty buddy buddy. I would argue the opposite. Limited wars are more professional. If you enter with a limited goal (eg, cutting someone down to size) then 3 rounds is plenty to accomplish a reasonable goal. It's sufficient enough to get a point across, and avoids the mess of terms. If it is not settled with white peace after 3 rounds, your opponent is either delusional, whales who need more time to burn, or nuke bloc. Historically, IRL, limited wars are also a sign of political acumen and I think it is the same here.

"Oh no, the wars are so long now" I think the real take away in this war is that there are no innocents and anything can be used as a CB. Wait didn't we know this already? Actually, the real take away is that it's really amusing to drag everyone into hell. For micros, stagnant alliances, and dead in the water guys, everyone is going to be dragged in now for globals. If you thought not militarizing or claiming neutrality would save you, it won't. In fact it makes you more appetizing.

We'll Pass. We're not dead its just a weight loss program. For the record Cuppy did the right thing, we just lost a bunch of baggage. We'll come out of this stronger than we were before Knightfall. Having a smaller group of active members is far better foundation to build upon than having our score being inflated by people who don't fight and go inactive.

@Angel Lara iirc, MOST alliances don't require participation in raiding. Some do not allow raiding. Pretty much every alliance except GPA (dead, but there are GPA wannabes) has always required members to engage in wars in defense of the alliance, or in furtherance of the alliance's goals. If you want to dodge wars entirely, you'll have to whale up super big and find a fatty-whale-alliance...but lately even THEY have been warring. NOBODY wants a war-dodger.
