  2. I could argue that my post was an IC valuation of of the IC conduct of the IC character which was treading OOC lines, and that therefore not a warning, but rather a thank you was in order. but im mature enough not to be such a cynic

  3. I accepted your Surrender with Camelot. Next time its best to leave me and my people be. We were doing fantastic until your plans showed up. Nobody supported the coup xD. Anyways good luck to Rag! Thanks for that $55,000,000! Can't wait to see what your apology essay is going to say Only got couped 3 times. 1) TMA coup with Morgan. It was a top 50 alliance he thought he could be a better leader which ended him up to disband the alliance when it lost over 25k score in less than 48 hours. 2) TCE, sort of a coup but not really. I was voted out of office. 3) ESA, Foreign coup planned which starts a 4 hour war. DM me if your interested in making a shortest Orbis war wiki page xD 4) Coming soon to a theater near you!

  5. I'm not going to do anything flashy here. My reputation is well known, both bad and good, depending who you're asking. We're looking for players who are looking to learn the game. A few questions. Is your alliance teaching you how to properly build cities and maximize profits accordingly? Is your alliance taking the time to explain how war mechanics work? Why one attack is better than the other? Does your alliance roll over when threatened? Do you feel your alliance has a goal that it can achieve? What I can tell you, is that in the Horde we have a very active leadership core. We have individuals who are often tracking numbers and making sure on sharing information that could both benefit the alliance and your nation. We have individuals who are often knee deep in the politics of the game, making sure that the alliance comes first. We also have members who are willing to throw down and burn pixels, both their own and our targets. And we have great allies who are willing to step up when the need arises. We're also not tied to the clusterfrick of a treaty web, so you know exactly what to expect if one of us are hit or when we make a hit. If you're looking for something new, or to learn something from the game that your alliance isn't providing, contact us. We're recruiting. What we're not looking for are people who are afraid of taking damage or people who are scared of taxes. There is no real "set" tax in our alliance as we adjust them (Both low and high) to cover the needs of the alliance, which covers growth, rebuild, and resource aid to our members. Our alliance stance is to constantly adapt to what's going on in the game. If you want to be a part of this, come join me. Follow the Hippo. Feel free to message any of my officers on our alliance page here: https://politicsandwar.com/alliance/id=4567

  6. The photo below was taken from the world map when I was pretty zoomed in, do you see how small the flags are? Please make these flags at least twice as big, that way I can make out what's even on the flags.

  7. Tiny tiny tiny flag just like your nation and other things Joking aside, it might have to do with your flag and its size? A possibility to consider, at least. Maybe the words make it smaller than it looks compared to regular flags.

Seeker, it’s obvious you just didn’t like Max’s comments, it’s not the first time you beat up on smaller allinces because of comments made you didn’t like, for example, Assassin Order. So just admit it and get off your high horse.

  17. I'm sorry but how are either of those games, wherein mind you your own probability tables indicate a greater than 50% chance to lose, much greater even - equivalent to a coin toss? I'd actually prefer a coin toss to... 66.67% chance to lose on dice and 74.1% on keno. I get casino games are rigged in favor of the house, but you're talking a minimum of 16% edge to the house, which is pretty damn high even for casino games that usually have a high edge like that.

  18. Quite frankly Alexio, i dont believe it was one person, i think your using this time to toss who ever you can under the bus and try to walk away hands clean. For months now your high gov has been aggressive to IQ, and its been obvious, so unless your just a utterly clueless leader; than you were aware of it and did not give a flying FRICK. This mixed with the months worth of leaks from VG that pointed to be coming from BC? Your party line of "It was Cynic" is not believable to me, I think multiple people in BC leaked and you were aware of it and choice to overlook it. However this specific case i do believe it was Cynic, it was just unlucky for you that we caught yall this time...Like i said just my opinion. So basically this whole thread is "booohooo we got caught leaking"

  20. Honestly, I have a deep respect for anyone at the top of the "units lost" leaderboards. Being there proves that for all the war you're doing, you mean it; you're not plugging away at zeroed or inactive nations, but rather fighting people with military that are using it. After all what's better: getting dogpiled and rolling over, or getting dogpiled and fighting like hell anyway?

  21. Just going to point out that many people are failing to realize the side effects of this "upgrade" to the war system. First: It's going to make lower tier cohesion even more OP, as the enemy literally won't be able to hit back. If I fall to the range of where basically the enemy coalition has people with 9 cities, why is it unreasonable for me to try to help out my friends? (To even fall to such a range, I need to have my entire military depleted and be very low on infra, well below the 800 per city, and usually the 9 city folk in-range are at max mil) Second: The current war system provides a way to handle such things. We did so in our war against TGH/KT. So, all you are really encouraging by this change is to allow for even less competency requirements to be able to fight. The only way to make that balanced/fair is to hardcap updeclares as well, which as @Akuryo pointed out is a pretty stupid idea.

  22. This is Shifty reporting in to fist you full of stuffing while you're still raw... Oh apologies I thought you were a turkey Oh baby, I don't want a mistress for Christmas, I want a turkey.... Today Shifty brings you the grand expose on Bad Company (thats French so you pronounce it expose-ayyy, but do it properly you have to rip your tongue out and screech, those damn frogs and their pronunciation guides) So Shifty has followed them before: Let's get the low down on BC FA >BC drops Rose after TKR-Rose backdoor pact to roll IQ by sending in BC and friends to pin down TGH-KT BC claimed it was an infringement on their sovereignty >BC gets bribed by IQ not to sign TKR with cheap resources after Polaris rats on Vanguard BC acts on cheap gas and denies TKR like Judas denied Christ but feels like this is just a temporary delay of the inevitable >BC dumps Vanguard BC feels like they're too close to IQ. IQ jumps them because they leaked Vanguard and IQ intel So now fellas, is Bad Company the poor girl next door who can't catch a break because guys are !@#$ or is BC a thottie? Well, the answer might be closer than you think, hence the poll at the beginning. Now if you voted before reading, I salute you for being a man of action and jumping into the fire without checking. We're alike If you read and then voted, you don't like chaos and fun, but hey you're right, which is always good. Cynic has stolen the BC bank and deleted it. So to all my pirates, raiders, and chaos seekers, there is no BC bank. Cynic destroyed it. Also 20 likes and I post who they'll sign next.

  23. The fact Cynic was able to become a mod in this game seriously makes me question the decision making of Alex. If he did any background on him he'd find pretty quickly he is not someone to trust with any type of responsibility like that.

  29. Then one of us is misinformed probably. Maybe it's me! But your public stance on this one has been "our CB is great, honest! " Without showing anything aside from a meme, and my standards for hitting a far smaller alliance while claiming it's valid are a bit higher than that.

  33. You're literally throwing another "leader" under the bus by saying he doesn't represent the alliance. He's not just a member, he's literally a leader. You're being obtuse for the sake of it. I have already stated earlier that I wasn't a fan of gagging members hence why you see some of the responses that have been posted so that's a bit of a reach to claim otherwise. If that's the case then his actions were condoned by the alliance entirely so the response was justified. I wouldn't call this a DoW, it's a low government member posting a thread and members voicing their opinion. There's a difference, you're just willingly absolving it to fit a narrative. If I was going to gag my members like you implied earlier then the thread wouldn't exist however it does so your previous statement is invalidated. You're connecting dots that I view everyone as children which inherently incorrect nor is it stated anywhere by myself. You keep citing max as some general member when he literally is not only the creator but the prominent and active leader of TI. It's just blatantly a false narrative.

  34. I'm not sure that this is a question more-so than you just wanted to make some public statement. First, player and moderator identities are separated so that they do not reflect upon each other. If a player who was also a moderator declared a war you disagreed with, for example, would that be reason for them to be stripped of their moderator powers? I don't see why any other (non rule-breaking) action would be any different. It is for good reason that player/mod identities are separated so that each can be judged without using the other as a reference. Second, I have no desire to confirm nor deny anyone's moderator identities. They are private, and seeking to make them public really doesn't benefit anyone. They are not elected and do not otherwise rely on the support of the community to retain their positions. If you have any particular grievance with any particular moderator, I would encourage you to first message them and try to talk it out, and if that fails, send me a PM directly to discuss the matter. To answer the question "will [Negan] be removed from the moderator staff?" the answer is no, not at this time. With that, I think the matter is resolved, and as I said, if you have further grievance please take it up via PM.

Prosperity stands and falls with the willingness of multinational organisations to assist one another in the accumulation of profit and by extension, the stimulation of the macro-economic environment. It is with great pleasure that the $yndicate has decided that the $yndicate and all its affiliates will henceforth fall under the protection of Terminus Est Securities Inc. Any acts of vandalism against assets belonging to The $yndicate or any of its affiliates shall be considered a direct attack upon Terminus Est and met with appropriate countermeasures including but not limited to: legal action, military action, diplomatic persuasion and media exposure. The $yndicate shall also receive access to reading material detailing Terminus Est best practice operations and accounting methods in order to stimulate inter-alliance innovation. 43. I would add that the "multiple protectorate" thing was something we actively encouraged at the time. When Pantheon formed, the geopolitical situation was tense enough (read: We knew tS would be under attack soon. We just did not know whether it would be direct or indirect, and when) for a new, unattached protectorate to become a possible weak link in the treaty web. A way to get at us, if you will. This would have put Pantheon in harms way for our sake. Something I believe a good protector should prevent. The precedent was there after all. The three-way protectorate made a hit via Pantheon impossible, for fear of too large a coalition defending them. Now I don't know InGen and Rose's rationale ofcourse. Friendship obviously played a part. As time passed on and the war was conducted, one could argue that the necessity for the threeway protec. was no longer there. By now however, I imagine (even) closer relations have developed. Would be silly to throw that away to appease the critics. Long story short: Pantheon is playing it smart and theoretically speaking, the world is their oyster. What they do with it, time will tell.
