  8. Pendragon, The Holy Britannian Empire's Capital Lelouch remained seated on the steps of Exelcia Garden as he surveyed the pond before standing before his country. Standing by him and with him in front of so many was Suzaku, his childhood friend, and Military Commander, C.C, the witch of Britannia, and Jeremiah his bodyguard. The three had spent nearly their entire political career and new life together leading the largest Empire that ever occupied Orbis. While they were hidden and operated proxy governments new stories unfolded between them. They had now acquired the lessons of war and the strength to lead the country back to its former glory. It was now time to speak. Lelouch: "People of Britannia! The division of our great nation has finally come to an end. Today marks the unification of our once great empire and the first step to our ultimate goal. It has been a long time since I once faced you as Emperor of Britannia, one may say too long. However, time will now be an ally rather than an enemy, our mistakes will serve as lessons and our success will guide us to the end. I once again, on this fateful day declare that The Holy Britannian Empire shall return to the world, I, Lelouch Vi Britannia will return as Emperor!" "No longer will we hide in the shadows, our time is now!" "All Hail Britannia!"

  11. Translation: "we destroy micros and anyone else we don't approve of for the benefit of pixel hugging lardass whales who do nothing and have no contributing value to the game." This is far worse than just saying "yeah, and? So what?" Which is what I had expected, and isn't that bad. This is though. Smh.

  17. Well, that depends really. On Taco Tuesdays it's good fun, the cafeteria food is great, everyone has a laugh, y'all know how it is. Then the rest of the week when you're forced to forge more steel for NPO's stockpiles or hunted by BK in the arena to determine the best candidates for mergers, it isn't as much fun. Really does build character though, or so I'm told. But hey, I've gotten distracted. Congrats on becoming even more bloated and functionally irrelevant GoB. All this time they told us GPA was dead, but really it's been here all along...

  19. I'm pretty sure their goal is precisely to get as far away as possible from the rest of the game in terms of city count, so they can save pixels in risky situations like world wars. Good thing they're buddies with TKR and Guardian, otherwise they'd be labeled as "an upper tier threat".

  21. If you run out of money or resources to maintain your improvements then they just stop functioning and produce nothing. I'm pretty sure you keep whatever military you have. If you run out of food then your gross income is decreased to 2/3 of what it is normally. Your cities will also gradually lose population. That's all I know, I think it's accurate. Toodles

  23. Map Rules: An in-game nation is required to participate in National Roleplay. Nations in vacation mode will still be able to participate. Additional colonies and expansions of your nation may not be claimed within the first calendar month of joining National Roleplay. Following the initial calendar month, you are permitted to expand at a maximum of four provinces per month. Each expansion requires a post to validate it. Additional colonies of your nation are capped at five, with a maximum of twenty provinces each. Conjoining separate colonies is not allowed. You may move up to four of your own provinces per month to another location on the map. If you choose to do so, a post is required for each time you move land. You must post at least once every thirty days to remain active on the map. Inactive nations will be removed. If you will be in a situation which renders you unable to post, please say so here and you may be kept for an extended period of time (up to thirty extra days.) All map claims must be made within the National Roleplay map thread. Any claims received elsewhere will be considered invalid. All claims must be requested within the National Roleplay map thread prior to the creation of the post associated with it. You will have twenty-four hours following your request to attach a link to your post to validate your expansion. Failure to meet the twenty-four hour requirement will result in your request becoming void. You may gift land to other players, but at a maximum of four provinces per month. In addition, the gifted land must either border the receiving nation’s existing land, or a major body of water. A post is required for each time you choose to gift land. You may not loan land which exceeds four provinces to another player. If you are receiving land from another player as a gift, please provide explicit proof within your reply if it has not been presented already. National Roleplay Rules: You must create a post in the subforum within two days of signing up, regardless of whether your nation has been added to the map yet. Each post you create must contain at least five sentences to be considered valid. Replies to your own posts or posts of others will not count toward your required one post per month. You must make reasonable posts and requests from other players in this community. Any development by your nation must be played out over a reasonable amount of time. No matter how advanced you may be, things do not just happen overnight. If knowledge of something is posted in a manner which would render you unable to know about it, then you may not use this knowledge in any way or for any purpose. It isn’t forbidden for you to make an assumption that another nation or player may do something, but you will not know for sure unless such knowledge becomes public. Consent is only required for war. Non-violent posts made without consent are acceptable. (Example: Player A sent military jets through Player B’s airspace without permission. It is up to Player A to respond to Player B’s actions as they see fit.) Basically, if it isn’t a direct attack on your nation, consent isn’t required. War Rules: Declaring war on another nation is allowed if each party has existed on the map for at least a month, and consent has been provided. However, an official declaration of war must be posted prior to any military action, and must include a legitimate in-character reason for the war. Additionally, a nation may only invade a maximum of two provinces every two days to give the other party a chance to fight back. Wars take time to play out, and each party must work together to resolve them. It is also important to note that although a nation may be invaded, they may not be taken over completely without the explicit consent of that nation’s ruler. Regardless of the technology or abilities your nation may possess, they are unable to give you an unfair advantage against another player. By declaring war on someone, you recognize that they possess the ability to defend against, or even defeat you. You may be difficult to defeat, but you are not invincible. Military Maximums: Your armed forces are based on the number of provinces under your control. National Roleplay Posting Etiquette: You are to remain within your own means. This means that you cannot “overnight” things for your nation. For example: One day, you have modern technology/weapons, and the next day, you have the most advanced technology/weapons. This isn't to say that you cannot develop your technology, or for that matter, anything in your nation. This is just saying that you actually have to RP the transition and growth of your nation to make it fair for the rest of the community. Many nations have a theme built right into them - these themes are derived from RL lore and/or made up of personal lore (lore created by an individual). That being said, all lore should be posted here so that you know what people are using and how you can adapt to National Roleplay with your nation. You have the option to allow or disallow IC/OOC chatter in your thread. This means that should you make a roleplay story/event that you would like to discuss out-of-character within that thread, you may simply state in your original post that your story/event will be open for discussion. Within your OP, you may also state that this story/event is only between select players - just to keep the RP a bit cleaner. If you create a new thread in the OOC subforum for the purpose of discussing an in-character post, just be sure to provide a link to that IC post for ease-of-access. This system allows for a cleaner RP for everyone. You also have the option to carry on your IC discussion through other platforms like IRC (if you're ancient), Discord, Skype, etc. This is National Roleplay, not a 140-character status update. Players of this community are expected to put a little bit more effort than just a few random words in an OP. This is a roleplaying community, where you roleplay your nation and your nation's story. In order for a proper dialogue to develop, players in this community must put in a little effort. For example: Black Box is a National RP member. He has a modern nation and he plays within the lore of modern-day America. This was his post this evening: “President Black Box of the United States of Box won today’s election with 97% of the national vote.” Nobody replied to his post and it got lost. Why? Because he used his time to create a status update instead of giving the community something to build off of. There is no creativity or effort. The key here is to just provide a little more effort with your story and with replies to other player’s stories. You are not God. Simply put, you cannot just snap your fingers and make something happen (besides a snapping sound) in real life, and that same thing applies here. You are not invincible. You are not unbeatable. You don't have the 'best' of anything. You are not a god. You can't destroy nations at the stroke of a key. You can't take over the world one-handed. Do you see where I'm going with this? You can't decide to just take over airspace, bodies of water, or land that doesn't belong to you. You can't force yourself on a nation and take them over. Come on, guys, do I need to continue? This etiquette ruling falls under playing within your means as well as the consent rule. Sure, maybe you have some awesome tech, but you need to RP it correctly. Sure, you might win battles or you might take over land, but it needs to happen the correct way. Through consent, and shared RP stories/events. National Roleplay Moderation: It is to be understood that moderators have the final say in regards to reports made or any rule violation. It should also be understood that select moderators are put in charge to oversee this roleplay community. These moderators have put in time and effort to help rectify issues, and will continue to work with the community and assist with whatever is needed to help it run smoothly and continue to be a source of entertainment. That being said, each member of this community most read and understand these rules as they have been provided to you. Any post in this community is an assumption that you have read and understood each rule. Therefore, should you post something that is a violation to these rules, Moderation will point you right back to this thread. A violation is a violation. Thank you for reading, and enjoy the Politics & War National Roleplay!

  31. Which has also already been explained in this thread. Point 1: An alliance plotting against historical enemies? NEVER, WHAAAAAT? Yeah thats obviously believable. Point 2: They don't like you, so the fact that point 1 is extremely believable even if the logs are fake means you're guilty either way. Something Smith managed to understand, not sure why you've missed it. Point 3: more of them not liking you, except now related to making yourselves guilty by saying your innocent. See, this is why i said i don't care if you're guilty. It doesn't matter. Smith figured out why pages ago. Cause you're fricked either way. You ask why people bit the bait, what you should be wondering is how many more people did but haven't made it obvious.

  38. Happy Shocktober/Oktoberfest/Spooktober everyone Now for Shifty's agenda for the month: -Covering the pressing and looming war rumors: Straight from BK and IQ "Hello my fellow Knights, I want to congratulate everyone on the tremendous success of our booster program. Our score has skyrocketed and we are catching up to TKR for that number one spot. In the last 30 days, BK has sent out 26% of the total amount of grants in the total of BK history. With booster efforts underway, many of you at 15 and above are sitting and banking cash waiting for city grants to increase again. To fill this down time, this is the order of projects of cities you should be buying once you reach 15 cities before building to 16, or filling in any of these you dont have if you are above 15. These are ranked in order of importance. 1) Intelligence Agency 2) Propoganda Bureau 3) Iron Dome 4) Emergency Gas Reserve 5) Bauxite Works 6) Center for Civil Engineering With war on the near horizon, it is vital that we fill our infra slots while our infra is fully intact. The first three projects will improve our war capability, and the next three will improve our ability to rebuild after we win it. With most of BK's taxes going towards boosting, at this point we are only offering grants for the IA, however none of them are super expensive. Great job so far and BK Stronk! -Leo" Next up: Covering more in-depth FA rumors such as the TKR-TCW split up regarding TCW thinking it's really more than Pantheon 2: Cruise Control. Lastly more micro drama: Is United Hoods really being used by the Syndicate to force people off Green to keep their turn bonus high? This is Shifty, gloating that he can leak anywhere, anytime, anything, in over 700 different ways and that's just with his bare hands.
