I can understand that; but considering the OP of this very thread, the offers of ending the war after one round by Test, and the way that SA is now extending their defeat beyond anything that the actions of their opponents could ever accomplish... This is worse than respectfully ceding a battle well fought, and this is worse than even taking a loss quietly. This is making promises, and then failing those promises utterly. But if the life of the guerilla warrior isn't for them, then that is their choice to make. It's just disappointing, is all. Are you trying to kill us?!

Welcome to edition zero of The Dove's Chronicle. I am Chief Editor Aesir. Seeing as this is edition zero it will be shortish, though hopefully it will grow. So what do I plan on doing with this? The plan is to be an informal paper. I want to host interviews with community members, sponsor artists and writers, and generally try and build a community based on sharing of art and stories. Why? Well I've always wanted to do something similar and now I am finally setting aside the time to do such. So what will this paper entail? Well if any member of the community is an artist or a writer I am more than willing to share your art and/or stories. I want to give a platform for people to share their work with others. This does also include YouTube and other forms of media. All you have to do is contact me and we'll work out something so that you get in the paper, it could be anything from an interview to just a few pieces of artwork and how to find them and/or support you. You'll also get a spot in the sponsored artist/writer/youtuber/ect. section. So with that out of the way let us begin with the paper and see how this goes. Interview with the Editor Hello all, so for our first interview it will be me! We'll be discussing my history with the game and a little bit of who I am. So my history with the game. I started back in the beta with the Green Protection Agency. I came in with them and generally enjoyed it. It was nice and relaxed for a little bit. I was actually pretty active back in those days, posting on the forums and such. Back then I was known as Luxa von Bismarck/Foxmarck and had self-styled myself as mascot of the GPA. I proudly served with the GPA for a long time, fighting alongside them during the St. Patrick's Massacre. However even good times come to an end and I left my green home for new pastures and found myself in Pantheon, with a lot of former GPA members. It was here that I spent most of my time in-game. I was quickly promoted to a government position by then Titan Fistandantilus, my job being approving raids and planning counters. I did this quietly and with some love in my work as it was nice and simple. Of course I was involved in the disastrous war where Fistandantilus just vanished. I was quite honestly devastated, because well he'd been the one to appoint me and now he had basically abandoned us. Even so after the war I chugged on in my role as the most insignificant member of the Pantheon Government, so insignificant that the new government forgot I even existed for a brief period of time. Eventually Pantheon got to a point where there was no one in Milcom but me, someone below literally every other government member. So I got a promotion, taking over the struggling Milcom, and I tried. I really did. However the internal conflict convinced me that I couldn't do anything to help and so I resigned. And that's how I ended up where I am now. I like to consider myself in semi-retirement. It was full retirement, but Felkey somehow dragged me into helping in the Commonwealth, which I couldn't resist, after all it was my old home. Now on to who I am as a person. Well I'm fairly youngish compared to some people, turning 20 this year. I currently am pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering. I have always been passionate about space craft and airplanes. This was brought on by reading a lot of science fiction, mostly by Isaac Asimov. I am an aspiring writer, which might be obvious from the fact that I am attempting a newspaper, though I haven't done a lot with it. I am also an avid gamer, playing mostly strategy games but dabbling in other games as well. Special shout out to Dust: An Elysian Tail, one of my favorite games. I'm generally a PC gamer but I have consoles as well, in particular I'm love with my GameCube still. I enjoy many anime, my personal favorite being Scrapped Princess, and movies, Zootopia. All in all I'm pretty simple and enjoy the little things in life, but also like to delve deeper into things I am passionate about. Hogwarts' members were sent on an excursion while I remained behind. I don't play for the amusement or ease of my opponents at any point in time. The choice to send my members away was made because it was the choice that complicated the agenda of my opposition the most. "Pixelhuggery" is little more than an empty rallying cry used to shame allies into submission or to harm enemy PR, generally speaking. At least HW tried to instigate something that could have been an interesting thing globally speaking- faillure or not ;).

I guess he was serious about his threat of a mass VM. Well, that's not good, that's not good at all. For the last year I've been trying to prove that warfare can be viable no matter what the difference in funding and available combatants is, and this ignominious surrender just plain undercuts the point. You could have had it, you could have proven that war can be war and not just a game of 'whoever has the least pixels ragequits'. The whole martial and political aspects of the game would be entirely unsustainable were wars always decided so easily and so completely, and the game would rapidly become a sterile wasteland of VM and inactivity. I cannot help but be deeply disappointed.

Yup, 23 vs 13 + AIM sure is a dogpile. Pantheon sure was some unaffiliated micro. Alpha certainly never did anything to make people want to hit them. Sparta was definitely never part of TEst. I have certainly never advocated rolling SA multiple times for being obvious pixel huggers. The pattern is definitely alliances associated with Alpha, and not whales (aka people in range) that can reasonably be beaten by 20-some guys or whatever allies can be rustled up. And !@#$ please, IQ a. didn't exist yet, and b. has basically no targets in range. Not to mention that Hogwarts ran like a !@#$ when TKR looked at them funny. We hit Alpha what, 3, maybe 4, times? And one of those I was the only actual war declared. We hit GPA just as much, but harder and they didn't actually exist the whole time so the wars were closer together. Get the hell over yourself. I made it very clear where we stood: Those were my conversations with their leader. Once their leader went into VM, I messaged their second in command before he too, went into VM. This is what I said to them at the start of this thread: There's the first few days of the "war" and some roll over in the PMs up top for the VM moves. tl;dr: I've been very willing to go with whatever SA wants, peace or perma war. I said the only way I'd stay in such a poorly run alliance is if you'd put me in charge. Good thing you didn't cus I don't know if even the Great Prefontaine could have bailed you and Steve out of that deep, deep well you dug yourselves into that you were never able to crawl out of. Those fake logs about hitting your ally were also REQUESTED by your ally in the hopes it would result from them getting away from you and closer to TEst.

Kastor is fine with a couple of people. Put him on stage with an audience and things get stupid where he tries too hard to be funny, at least if he’s the main one talking. So, we were at war for what, 3-4 weeks out of three years? Clearly we and constant harassers. The only alliance that I'd find that sort of claim valid against me is GPA. You should also ease up on that whole "hitting an alliance who had been dogpiled" line. I remember being given logs of you all celebrating SK hitting TEst much quicker after we were dogpiled. You've honestly done SA a disservice by posting and trying to stir up old drama and dragging out the public theater. This whole thread was a disservice to SA. You don't beat your chest publicly promising mutual assured destruction, extremely levels of activity etc etc and have had 3 wars declared in 10 days, and 3 members go into effective perma VM. Had this thread not existed there would be no mocking it. I did request my members be more friendly to the people we were fighting on more than one occasion but I'm not here to muzzle people when they're not crossing serious lines. You all want to talk like I have some obsession with you and this deep need to get revenge or whatever. I literally nothing you guys. 1: I shared stats not long after this thread was posted, in this thread, in which I included munitions and gasoline. This isn't exactly a new development. 2: I didn't collect stats for usage in the previous war. That was someone else. Who isn't in this war. The same stats were collected for the TKR/NB war. I know you tend to treat individuals like monolithic hiveminds who all share coordinated opinions and positions, but unfortunately that doesn't reflect reality my friend. 3: Yes, we aren't using as much munitions and gasoline since that was the strategy from the start. That is literally the point of the strategy. Not sure why the costs of military units would apply but not the costs to fund them. 4: I didn't make a comment one way or the other, so trying to claim that I pretended these factors all don't exist is false. I wasn't the one who started a thread without the full stats, there are multiple other stats that aren't included on either of the examples made by myself or Nizam. More stats is better than less. If people with the ability to collect those stats want to share them, they are more than welcome. Perhaps instead of whining, you should compile these stats? 5: "You are attempting to use this to create the misconception that the gap between our two sides is shrinking." Actually, if you look at the stats I shared before and after you'd know the gap is shrinking on other factors as well, Infra damages and Military damages being the main ones. The Nation of Prussia is a nation with wide usage of Artificial Intellegence. After a long-term research campaign in robotics, prototypes came out with humane looking body structure but with no emotions, like any other robot. They have been later made from cheaper materials and could be produced more. With that came the replacements of humans with them. Even though that sounds great, many people are left unemployed and now roam the streets like beggars, protests arise with the slogan of 'machines serve us, not replace us'. The Robots are used in many suicidal acts, but also as public safe keepers. Some work in parks to help the elderly and to entertain or keep the parks clean, while some participate as co-workers in police or as negotiators. Many citizen use them in their own household to mantain the house as well as babysit. The Robots are considered lower class and always are approached with 'it'. The cost of one is around 10k euros. Because of the robots and with many people becomming unemployed and poor, a massive rift became between classes in which hatred grew more. The 'lower class', considered the poor class are homeless and are beggars as previously noted while other households are in massive apartments and the size is depending on their economic stance of the family. The Middle Class is opposed to the robots and fear that they will be transformed into the lower class and they are the main protesters against the robots. They are not being used in the armed forces of the nation. The land of the Germans spreads from the cold Copenhagen to the southern warm Venice. Even though it is not as a whole with many western Germanic people being a part of an another nation, the Prussian nation holds most Germans of the world. It is very commonly known on about the Germans will to work as well as their determination and so with a long term policy, the nations inhabited by non-germans with Prussian rule have not only been Germanized, they were transformed into mostly german inhabited cities and provinces. To employ a large germanic workforce a large ammount of Arms Factories and Sheet Metal Production Facilties are built. The nation leads in sheet metal construction which are used on roofs, pipes and more. While their weapons are mass produced with quality components. All weapons unecessary to the nation are stockpiled or sold to the population. All arms in the hands of the population are not as modernized as the ones of the Army or Police forces. Because of a large industry, major contributions are focused on mantaining the nature of the nation without any scientific experiments on them. The green fields are maximally used for agriculture with usage of many non-nature dammaging machines. A high class citizen has all their troubles nulled with constant protection as well as no need to peform any kind of household mantainment activities as the robots peform it. Usually, they have some sort of company related to engineering. The anmount of kids a high class citizen has has never passed 4 with the most common ammount of children being one and three. These citizens live in larger skyscraper apartments thag are of mass unneedles proportions. A branch of high class civilians are Farmers which live in the rural areas of the nation and posses large farms. The farms are usually a mix of plantations and livestock and all is automated. The middle class is the usual worker. Previously noted that many people of this class protest on the usage of robots and they do not own them. Very few people in this class own them while only those whom protest are at a balancing point between worker and beggar as a machine could replace them the next day. They either live in smaller apartments which were made claustrophobic, and the other live in larger houses with their parents and other relatives. The low class is usually named the victim of modernization as they lost their everything to machines. The people that make up this class make small remarkable actions against the robots using words, with an example being of a beggar playing music to get money but the motto on his sign says 'one euro for human music, music with soul'. The education enforces a small hint of patriotism and loyalty to the crown and nation itself and teaches them discipline. At the end of education the student will, most of the time, be against the western Germany and have sworn and signed a paper in which he or she will be either a part in the army or work any way to support the nations way to victory in any conflict.
