We are gathered here today in celebration of our Alliance, Durmstrang, a place where most of us found the home we had been seeking in years of wondering throughout all corners of Orbis. I am very happy with what we have achieved while we existed, we have made great friends inside and outside this walls; we have gained strong allies that will be forever in our thoughts. As everything in life, Durmstrang also had a finite time in the world, it was fun while it lasted and we don’t regret one minute of it. But just as all things, DS has come to its end. With unmeasurable pride to all we have built, I say good bye to this baby of mine. I stand tall when closing the doors of this fine castle behind me after all inhabitants have vacated the premises. Thank you to all the people that have come through our doors, you made my dream come true and for that I will be eternally grateful. Thank you to all our allies that time after time proved to be made of iron and defended our interests as their own, you also made this dream possible. Thank you for our rivals in declared wars or otherwise who valiantly fought us both in Politics and Wars, without you our existence wouldn’t have had purpose. As part of our farewell Durmstrang hosted a fine Wizarding Ball for our members and special guests. You can see the preparations and the ball itself below thanks to the masterful skills of our camerawoman Maia “hit-girl”. Ball part one Ball part two Part three is yet to come.

Can we just acknowledge that KT may get rolled but will win the war on the sole basis of forcing the word horsecock to be used so many times in serious conversation.

First we never do anything, now we're doing too much? Take your pick, Buor. Also, there are some massive holes in those points regarding TCW/MAGE you're bringing up. Guess that's what happens when you listen to the rumor mill. The "that happened before we signed them" argument has been dead and beaten. Give it up. I really don't know how many times in how many different places I need to repeat this, but we have logs of your ally's high gov member discussing how to isolate/hit us. They took place within two weeks of you signing, with most of them taking place the day before. Your alliance's name is mentioned directly and, even if it weren't, it's not like you wouldn't defend them. Additionally, your posting on the forums lately has been blatantly and aggressively anti-TKR and I'm not going to stand by and watch you do the same thing to us that you did to IQ: shit talk and coalition build. Reminder that you used to be in TKR not all that long ago so I'm not a total stranger to you. Do you think I'm so much an idiot as to not be able to put together a correlation between you calling us a threat to Orbis politics on the OWF and then later that same day, sending Justin, former Prime Minister of TCW, over to talk to TCW about dropping us? Especially when coupled with the logs we got handed two weeks later? Come on, Buor. Trying to find fault with us for defending ourselves when we have sufficient evidence that there was a threat there is a little rich, especially seeing as we're only following the advice you gave to Spanish Armada not too long ago. Besides, I thought you liked to fight and your alliance was made for it, so why are you whining? If I recall correctly, you even told us a while back when you thought we were going to hit you before the NB attack, that you'd gladly accept a rolling for the trolling you guys were doing on our discord around that time, so long as it wasn't while you were in the middle of your own war. Plain Text January 29th, 2017, the day the Seven Kingdoms and Terminus Est once again entered into a state of war. Conflict flared and died down, and the world forgot. Much has happened in the 18 months since. The breakup and fragmentation of EMC, the rise and struggles of the inquisition, the wrath of the Khans. Wars raged as always, including the believed record shattering 45 day trail of tiers. But while the leaders of Orbis have played at war and peace, closing down one conflict to send the troops to another, on one front, the guns never fell silent. Even as the world looked elsewhere, the soldiers of our alliances fought on. Not a day has gone by without hundreds of GAs and airstrikes, the toll weighing heavy in all our minds. Today, 498 days after the start of hostilities, we gather here on the Pyke to bring an end to the madness. Over one quarter of PW’s history has passed since the start of the war. Whole generations have known nothing but fighting and death. At last, they will know peace. For TEst TL:DR - After days of heated diplomacy, the SK-TEst war, which technically never ended, is now over.

Important question: Your government has a guy whose name is horsecock in government?

Welp, cheers to all our allies and friends for being there for us and making the last year great. I can easily say its been one of the best year in pnw I've had so far. But now that we've conquered magic, it's time to conquer space. o/ Durmstrang o/ CoS o/ Seb (kinda have to give him a shout out I owe him like 3bn)

Not sure about others but while i technically agree with you that cb's are not needed, I believe the inclusion of them enriches gameplay. It provided favor and meaning to wars. Sim games like pw generally consists of bland, simplistic gameplay mechanics and rely on their respectieve communities to keep themselves engaged. CB related stuff is one tool to keep things interesting. I know i definitely would get bored of perpetual war (And peace) without purpose.

The alliance might be no more, but the community will continue on. I'm incredibly grateful to Seb and the rest of Durmstrang's members for building up such a wonderfully friendly environment, and I want to thank you guys for your open door policy and for letting me visit. I'm proud to have called Durm my home at one point and I'm happy that its members have found such a welcoming new alliance. See y'all around~ <3

*sniffles* since our foundation Durmstrang, and Seb, have been dependable friends to AIM, they're a bunch of people you're hard pressed to find elsewhere. Best of luck to all of it's members, wherever you go! We'll miss you!

So if you haven’t worked it out yet, the whole dancing declaration of war was one giant metaphor. Many of you have been clamoring for more details, so let’s unpack it, shall we? “We want to dance,” Is it really any wonder that when you have a prior history of storming our discord to troll us and you make posts repeatedly to try and trash talk us and our ally and make OOC attacks on prominent members, we’d not be the biggest fans of TGH? This really isn’t anything new – you lot have been on us from the start. We watched you guys shit talk IQ for months leading up to your aggressive, no CB hit on them. We weren’t about to let you do the same to us. But if the “talk shit, get hit” CB doesn’t suffice for you all, I’m happy to show you what else we’ve got. “ you want to dance,” “and we saw you checking us out.” How’s that opsec working out for you, Horsecock? At least you tried to go back and cover your tracks. “We’re not big believers in having to wait for the guy to work up the courage to pull us away from our friends and ask us out, so here we are.” So, there you have it, folks! A DoW unpacked – “Let’s dance!” As an additional note, Keegoz got the privilege of seeing a few of these logs a couple days again – a sneak preview if you will. A big shout out to Pre, my adversary and colleague during the negotiations. It wasn't easy hashing this out, and he played a hard game, but in the end we were able to orchestrate a peaceful resolution to this dreadful war. For too long we had been consumed by this conflict, and now, at last, it is over.

Good luck guys I look forward to seeing what you do. I am a bit disappointed I did not get to see a stream of consciousness from Thrax or a comic from Ripper though

Congratulations Seb, on realizing the dream/goal you set out for yourself. You've chosen a fine (new) home in CoS, and I hope the merge works out well for all of you.

On the other hand, at least a quarter (conservative guess) of TKR's members are below 10 cities...not to mention there are whales in TKR and TCW that are far too high up to be directly involved in the war, or at least safely decom to be a part of it. So the numbers balance out fairly well. People are over-blowing the score or number advantage that TKR's side has. And I can at least attest to a part of that. Keegoz is somewhat correct when he said there are members who have "retired" from the game and have moved down to ET to be tax-farmed, but from what I know, "incompetents" get demoted to ET when they do poorly in KT – whether it's poor war performance, poor warchest, poor activity, or a combination of the three. And it is quite hard to climb back out once you're there; some have stayed there for months before.

Im just gonna throw this out there... ..but when have CBs been technically needed for a war? I mean I understand people want a publicly stated reason, but in my history of simulation games, the only time there seems to be this insane push for a CB or a proper CB for that matter, is when one side is just legitimately upset over the fact they are being hit in war. This is also not a jab at anyone in the war, just actually trying to comprehend -when have CB's been actually needed. Why not just a - Just cuz - war? Cb? nahhh we doin this shit just cuz.
