  1. Once upon a time, there were two alliances. One was Rose, and the other was Bad Company. The two alliances were the best of friends. They would even hang out and BBQ on the weekends So one day, Rose and BC were munching on some ribs. There was lots of beer flowing. And there was something about wiggles. Lots of wiggles. All the wiggles. By the end of the night, Rose and BC decided that they should show that they were better friends! So Rose and BC got in their super cool cars and drove to the tattoo parlor and got matching tattoos. They said “We’re Awesome!” And everyone was like “Ohhhhh ya’ll are awesome!” And BC and Rose were like, “Yeah we know.” And then there was a dragon. We don’t know where the dragon came from, but DemonSpawn ate it. And everyone cheered. And they all lived happily ever after! The end! - Hannah Avacyn Article I - Personal Wiggles Rose and Bad Company are free to conduct their own internal affairs and wiggle in private if chosen. Article II - Other People's Wiggles Rose and Bad Company agree to share intelligence, and the wiggles of other alliances, in the name of alliance security. 6. War teaches you things about yourself you didn't know Things like this have been talked about in the past, but often sputter out, regardless I wanted to give it another attempt. Yes, a large war(s) recently ended and people might have had their fill of fighting and want to go back to growing. Previously there was a long peace in the game after TEst disbanded, perhaps not without coincidence. That being said, if you might be interested in a fight now, or in the coming months if things become stale and you feel that blood-lust pumping in your veins please reach out to me. TEst is willing to set up micro-wars or full alliance fights. Both willing participants predetermine the number (and which) players want to be involved from the agreed alliances and have a war with each other. Rules and guidelines can be agreed upon in advance, and these fights won't activate treaties. Civilized bloodshed is still better than no bloodshed. 7. Deus Vult brothers! It has come time again for the Europeans to fight an outsider for what is rightfully ours. For the current bystanders with the Prussian order is the nation of Occitania. They have come together to Munich to now fully sign the papers of the Crusading Brotherhood of the Knights Templar, to be shown to the world! What the alliance does is to establish no agression between the Crusading nations and to establish plans on further actions to be peformed against the newcomer in the Middle East, the destabilizing factor in the region, Salazaristan. It is not to be trusted. The KT Body, set in Munich, will function as an entity by itself, as a government but still their actions have to be approved by Prussia and/or Occitania at this given momment. The Peoppe that make up the 'Council of the Knights Templar' are elite warriors which could be considered Special OPS by their combat effectivness. Their names are Thalmor The Evenstar whom works as a FA Knight to attract more Crusaders, Ceasar Theodosius the head of the group, he is a serb Orthodox but is a determined warrior, Cocania of Horseet, the field commander and trainer of the armies, Vladimir Nitup the main commander of all operations in crusades, Huvan and Schnee which command the suicide squad. [All identities of the Knights are classified]

  8. Zoom out the tab/page until you don't have to scroll to click the buttons. How is this any different from people that play on the trade markets all day? Do you want to limit the number of trades people can make as well? You are not forced to play home games, that is a choice. If you only sit there and wait for someone esle to play an away game that is totally on you. Not really, there are several high level teams that do nothing but play home games and never give anything back. They hurt the game more by not playing away games because it makes the people that do play away games stop playing to avoid them. You say that you are new to playing baseball so you don't know all the different ways we have tried to make it fair to all who play. Where we are now is a tip system where the people that play home games send the people that play away games a percentage of their winnings. Unfortunately there are still a lot of people that just play all home games and never send any tips. These people hurt baseball more than anything else as they just take and never give anything back.

  9. Unfortunately that's the plan and I believe this will bring a major change in baseball, this will make baseball a better game. People will eventually start giving out tips and never steal Play away game. And I believe if everyone gets a chance to play with someone they want they'll spend more time in baseball.

  11. Why should an established player that has spent the money to upgrade the quality and seating in their stadium split the profits they make with new players that haven't? They already get a lower payout because of the lower level of the new player. No one wants to work for anything any more, they just want everything handed to them without any effort on their part.

  15. You aren't exactly lacking money as you spent more on the quality of your stadium than I have, you chose to invest it differently which resulted in your team still having a poor rating. I'm pretty sure I would have trouble finding matches, that's all I'm saying.

  16. This is a pretty good suggestion. Land becomes useful for things other than spamming farms. It would also be a good idea to *cap* the effect of land increasing population at some point, so land doesn't get too OP. Like, if land is over 5000, it does no longer increase pop in city X/or a max % cap on the bonus land gives to pop.

  19. Winning or losing the baseball match is completely meaningless in terms of the revenue generated, or for that matter anything at all other than a meaningless stat. The vast majority of revenues comes from who hosts the games, which has resulted in a baseball environment filled with leeches that make baseball not really worth doing. This would totally be a casus belli, but even if we raided the leeches to the ground, that wouldn't actually stop them. Suggestion: Our baseball teams should not be able to be matched with nations we've embargoed. Boom, embargo becomes meaningful and lets people have some measure of choice in who they baseball with. Fixes so many problems with baseball.

  21. The OWF is an awful way of communicating information to new players. Alliance forums usually have guides and whatnot but most alliances are moving away from forums anyways and using discord as the be-all-end-all for teaching new members. I can also say, from experience, the kind of idea you have is far more convenient when done in Discord rather than on forums.

  22. 1) That's the incentive to win. 2) The point of Baseball is to give you something to do to kill time. Tediously clicking a button accomplishes that. 3) It doesn't need a minimum. I don't care if you never play baseball, it's an entirely optional part of the game to serve as something to do to kill time when you're bored. 4) Sounds like a ridiculous buff for nations with maxxed out baseball teams. 5) Why? The point of baseball is to give you something to do. You don't have anything more to do if it's suddenly limited and you hit the limit.

Current operation reassigned to OPERATION RETURN FIRE. Details of operation are as follows: In the past few months, Hungadada Intelligence Service (HIS) has obtained intelligence strongly suggesting that the Anti-Hungadada Movement (AHM) is operating within the Isles of Death. Intelligence suggests the AHM are re-forming and are meeting with known associates to plan for a better future. HIS intelligence suggests all major leaders (including provincial and city leaders) of AHM factions are present on isles. HIS suggests strong possibility that up to 5000 AHM members are also present on isles. The Palace has issued orders to secure the isles, and apprehend all suspects. The Imperial Hungadadian Navy Carrier Strike Group Alpha has been assigned to blockade and apprehend. MISSION GOAL: Blockade the Isles of Death and begin operations to apprehend all suspects. AHM members have been known to attempt kidnapping and/or sabotage of vessels under cover of darkness. REMAIN ALERT AND VIGILANT AT ALL TIMES. [END OF MESSAGE] ------- 20:10, Bridge of the IHNS Panther, somewhere in the North Atlantic, "Admiral, phone call on line 3. From the Palace", said the first officer. The Admiral, looking out toward the murky horizon through binoculars nodded. He put them down, and walked over to the phone. Pressing the button for line 3, he picked up the phone. "Good evening, this is Admiral Bainridge aboard the IHNS Panther." "Admiral Bainridge, please hold for the Emperor of the Imperial Republic of Hungadada" replied a voice on the other end. "Admiral Bainridge!" came the unusually cheery voice of the Emperor. This late in the evening, and after a busy day of economics and other laborious tasks, it was not normal for the Emperor to be cheery. Yet, he was. "Good evening, your Majesty", replied the Admiral. "Admiral, as you already know, you've been tasked with heading Operation Return Fire. Naturally, I know that your 45 years in the Navy will serve you well in ensuring that this operation is a success. Nonetheless, I expect your resignation letter on my desk as soon as your operational command is over.", said the Emperor cooly. There was a pause. The Admiral was breathing a little more heavily now. A bead of sweat rolled down his forehead. He adjusted his collar. The friendliness was gone. "Your Majesty, I can't do that. It would...", began the Admiral, half exasperated, half-angry. The Emperor interrupted: "Admiral Bainridge, you are a smart man. I think you know that a resignation on your part would save you a lot of face. Imagine if your family, your country, and the world came to know of what you've done. Do you really think you want to fight this?" There was another pause, a longer one. "Your Majesty, with all due respect, I must strongly object to these terms. I cannot... will not do this!" yelled the Admiral down the phone. The officers on the bridge looked up curiously. "Have it your way, Admiral", came the reply. The dial tone. ----------- 21:00, Hungadada News Service, John Edgar Newsroom, Port Royalty "Ladies and Gentlemen, good evening and welcome to HNS News. I'm your host, Nancy Parker, and this is the news at 9: 'Sources from the DSDH have confirmed to HNS that a military security operation is underway in the North Atlantic. These sources have confirmed that this current operation, known as Operation Return Fire, is focused around the Isles of Death. Our DSDH correspondent, James Allen has more: "Thank you Nancy. The DSDH confirmed to HNS today that the largest ever military security operation in modern Hungadadian history is now taking place in the North Atlantic. Sources tell HNS that one carrier strike group -that is, 10 navy ships, including an aircraft carrier, destroyers, frigates and submarines- are converging on the Isles of Death, a group of islands in the North Atlantic known for their iconic cliffs, and their deadly waters. Our sources tell us that over the last few months, the Hungadadian Intelligence Service has monitored a significant amount of AHM rebels moving over to the island. The intelligence collected by the agency suggests that there is some sort of meeting happening there. The navy will be blockading the Isles until further notice, with the goal being the arrest of as many members as possible. Back to you, Nancy." "Thank you James. I have here with me HNS' defence analyst Watson Hall. Watson, what can you tell us about this move by the government to apprehend the AHM?" "Well Nancy, from the information I've been given, this is certainly the largest step that modern Hungadada has taken in the fight against the AHM. From what I've been told, this operation is being run and commanded by the Palace, rather than the DSDH, which is unusual, and only goes to show how serious the government is with this particular operation. The AHM apparently has been planning this meeting for months, with hundreds of members travelling to the islands for their meeting. If this operation is successful, and I have no doubts that it will be; it could be the real first step towards the beginning of the end of the AHM." ------ 21:10, Bridge of the IHNS Panther, somewhere in the North Atlantic, "Attention, attention, this is the IHNS Panther. We have eyes on the Isles of Death. Orders are clear, follow directions on SAT 2. Blockade, blockade. Deck warning is now level 3. Contact command via SAT 4. With proud hearts, do your solemn duty to your country." --- TO BE CONTINUED (Isles of Death are in reference to May claims to the islands in the North Atlantic)

  27. If you switch from the home/away payout system to a win/lose system new players will never play as they can not afford to upgrade their teams with the small amounts of money they would get. He has already stated that he won't change this as he wants the massive amounts of clicks required to upgrade players. While he could and probably should increase the payout for winning games the bigger problem is all the greedy selfish players that never play any away games or tip the people that do play large amounts of away games. You are not new so you should know just how terrible sheepy's RNG is. If he put a limit on how many games that a player could play per hour/turn, no one would ever upgrade their teams again as they would not be able to make any money playing.

  29. @Alex The main issue I see with this update, is it doesn't really incentivize people to form up color blocs in the first place. There is no added advantage to two allies forming up in the same color, since the more people in one color doesn't increase the bonus, unless those people are above the current average, but even then, 10 people at 2m a day amounts to the same as 100 people at 2m a day. I'll probably think on it and make a counter suggestion, but as is I don't think this is super effective. The bonus is pretty low too, a 100k increase in income isn't going to do much to incentivize people to do anything. It should be taxable if its replacing the color bonus.

Instead of capping it, why don't you correlate the population growth to the amount of Land? (Basically capping the Pop Density instead of the Pop itself, if that makes sense?) If a city doesn't have enough land to expand the population, it doesn't grow anymore. Could also tweak the effect of Nukes to slow down or reset the return growth after a city gets nuked.
