I will make a small analysis for those that want to hear it. I want to first concentrate in the new production of a nation. A standar nation with cities with 2k infraestructure used to be able to have 115% commerce and produce at least 3 manufactured resources. the recent changes implemented means, more slots have to be spent on commerce to reach 115%, 5 more if you want 114% or 6 more if you want 115% due to the heavy pollution given by manufactures or raws, you have to be very selective with what you make even if you put 3 recycling centers in the nation. you have occupy a max of 5 manufacturing slots (aslong as you make alot of farms), without farms, I am afraid you ll be using even less slots for manufacture. the norm before the change was to use 9 to 12 slots for manufacture, and the norm for after the change is to have 4 slots. This means manufactured resources will drop 66% to what it used to be. After this war, when our stockpiles have been spent, and we realize how scarce production can be, manufactures will become a very sought out commodity and therefore, it will be quite pricey. My educated guess is that they will triple its market value. What is going to happen with food? food seems to be the most comfortable resource to produce given their low pollution addition, this has provoked that many nations now want to produce it. ofc that its efficiency was nerfed, but with the lack of better options, food has become the new thing in town. We have already seen an increase in food production and the constant drop in market prices, with this changes and seeing as everyone keeps producing it, food will keep going down so my advise is to get rid of your food before its worthless and/or stop producing it. you may ask: what can I do if I can't have manufactures nor food? your choice then would be to move your production to raw resources, but given that raws are now quite heavy in pollution, if you do those, you won't be able to do manufactures. so, given all this facts, I recommend to make 3 to 5 slots in manufactures, a few slots on food (necessary due to pollution) and a few slots on raw resources. if you don't care about pollution and you are willing to lose slots in hospitals to reduce disease you could try more manufacture slots, but that is not a personal favorite. A small advise for the little guys, if you haven't spent alot of money on land and you have it around 2k and are thinking of getting more, don't bother, food will not be as valuable as it once was. Hey all, just a small but significant update. First, the Military Action Point cost of Fortify has been increased from 3 to 4. This is just a minor tweak to balance the war mechanics and reduce the ability of nations to Fortify endlessly, preventing the war from being ended through conventional means (bringing resistance down to 0.) I hadn't considered the impact this would have on on-going wars, so I will postpone this bit of the update by 3 days. In 3 days, Fortify will cost 4 MAPs, not 3, so plan accordingly. The infrastructure price change has gone into effect already. Second, I've changed the infrastructure price formula slightly so that for 99% of nations, infrastructure will be cheaper. The price decrease is more significant at the lower levels, and at the higher levels is not much of a change at all. The new formula for infrastructure price at a given level is: [((X-10)^2.2) / 710] + 300 Here's a quick spreadsheet screenshot of how this impact changes both the infrastructure price and cumulative price at various levels This change should make both building infrastructure as a new nation and rebuilding infrastructure a little bit easier. In the grand scheme of things, however, I don't think it will be too significant of a change. That's all for now, let me know how much you love/hate this update

Within Knights Templar, it is viewed as a badge of honor for a member to eat a missile or nuke. So much so, in fact, that when we introduce ribbons/badges for certain accomplishments, there will be one for eating so many missiles/nukes. To this end, I would like to publicly congratulate a member of Esquire Templar, Dakai of the country of fanla, for being the youngest nation in P&W to be nuked at just 3 days old. Dakai, an aspiring Templar, joined ET so that he may eventually become a member of KT. On the 20th, he attacked Zephyrus, the leader of a micro named Typhon, for raiding another member of ET. Arsony Carrera, along with 2 other members of Typhon, countered Dakai. Arsony Carrera had nukes, and launched one: Not only did Dakai eat a nuke at just 3 days old, but he did so with his head up high. He hasn't whined about it (whereas a lot of new players would quit if something like this happened to them). He is prime KT material, and we're happy to have him on board with us. Deus Vult.

I do not remember any of my childhood and all I remember was suffering but for the good. But the price for that was high and my father risked it. He was scared of paying one price but he had to pay all. A few men have set off an explosion there curshing the infernals under the rubble. Some got out and a jets and tanks welcomed them and blew them up. They used Bulldozers to push the rubble with the Infernals into the Sea where they would be done for good. At the entrance of the Demon Portal , which Maiev thought was absurd and childish. The Soldiers and Maiev too went for a mission for a destruction of it. They went on the roof and jumped from the Skylight to it. They started filling every single hole with explosives. After doing that they jumped back onto the roof and went away from the Building and blew it up by remote. And the Last task was of killing the Dreaguards which were secretly killing civilians. That was found out by the men who went to assasinate them. As they went down, they reported the mass murders to Maiev, they said that the they were doing it without Fil's command so they were abusing him. She decided to tell it to Fil but she was planning on keeping it secret. When she arrived at his mansion she stormed inside his bedroom and told him about all of the things that were happening. He yelled "What are you doing in here!? I was having a nice dream of ponie... Oh Maiev... Let's keep that a secret and we will talk about this Tomorrow, Okay?" he went back to bed with a smile and she smiled back as she was reliefed. The Next day , Fil woke up at noon and saw Maiev sleeping on the floor. "You could have at least chilled on the couch" he said which woke her up and she slightly hit her head off the table. "Ow" she rubbed her head and said "How did I even manage to fall on the floor without hitting the table in the first place" she asked but it was more of a retorical question. With the exception of deporting brown people, Trump hasn't implemented any real policies that would account for economic growth. Sure, you could say it's consumer confidence when Trump says he's going to cut taxes (which he hasn't yet), but the economic growth seen this quarter was within expected ranges of growth. The US could have elected a bag of oranges that did nothing (kinda like Trump) and it still would have resulted in the same economic growth. Besides, consumer confidence is running out, especially when Trump's party controls all branches of the government and still can't get anything passed. I would recommend miralax, but I don't think that's covered under Trumpcare. Besides, if GDP growth was an indicator of a coming economic shitstorm, you would imagine we would have saw the housing crisis coming a lot sooner. Good news is, the slow growth in the residential sector suggests that despite a buyer's market, there is little inventory so we won't have another housing crisis anytime soon. Trump also has the global market behind him too, at a steady growth of around 3%. But I've already said my piece on why I think the economy is going to tank, take it as you will. Also: CNN!? First, you are right, probably should have put this in the discussion section, I just like having all my threads in one area of the social hub so I can just scroll down and click on it. Second, I didn't mention Clinton, and the fact that you keep thinking about Clinton makes me think you honestly have no clue what is going on now, except that Trump won the election. Thirdly, I can back that up by your statement of "Who will survive the latest WH drama? Muchy or Sessions?" because it implies that Scaramouchi and Sessions are fighting for control in the WH, which is not true. It's Muchy and Priebus. Finally, I feel like your posts here are in response to me in general and have no relation to the topic at hand, which suggests one of three things: Either you have pent up anxiety over my statements about Trump being a dumbass (of which you have failed to prove otherwise besides saying he won an election 20 times), you have absolutely no idea what this topic is about and decided to post something you have some vague knowledge of, or a combination of both. Look, you either have "Man-Meat" or a "Va-Jay-Jay".....that's it......that's all. I think if someone wants to be identified as a certain sex....then have the correct out door shower or indoor plumbing and call yourself that particular sex. Now, since this is matter of personal preference and not one (in the vast majority of cases) of medical necessity, then if someone joins the military as a certain sex, then they must remain that sex until they are out of the military. If before you entered the military, you had a sex change and a medical screening has been completed prior to joining that states person "X" was this and is now this and is fit for full duty.....then fine, let them in and fight for their country. Going through a sex change while in an "Active-Duty" status would be a huge disruption to that unit so shouldn't be allowed. EDIT: Obviously if someone goes through a sex change procedure, they obviously want to be identified as that new sex, so these labels of "Transgender" or "Transsexual" are completely stupid, you either have all the equipment of one sex or the other. If your main reproductive plumbing is one way, but you still want to be called the other sex.....tough shit.....at that point, I'll either call you a "Cross-dresser" (outdoor showers wearing dresses), or "Butch" (I don't really see women dressing like men as cross-dressing since they normally wear t-shirts and pants/jeans anyway....just the style of them I guess would be different).

Alright, point by point: First situation is qutie possible, not everyone just spamms fortify, lot of us try to hit back too, so first situation can occur as soon as 21 turns in ( your opponent oppened with airstike to halve your tanks and then did 4 navals in hopes of destroying your improvments while blockading you, 6 starting MAPs + 14 turns give you just enough maps for 4 navals and 1 airstike, and assuming they were all immense you're at 28 resitance, while you did all ground attacks, 8 of them stealing some money and using it to build more ground. By the time you realize you should have fortifed instead of doing 8th attack you're in tight spot where you race who'll foritfy first. That is the current meta, if idiot attacking you doesn't have ground, use ground, if he doesn't have air use air, and if he doesn't have naval use naval. Fortify is for when you can't hit back or are lower on resitance than your opponent. That's how we do shit in Arrgh, but I guess you just fortified your way out of global without hitting back? First part, true, but what' s fun in not hitting back when you can? I'd die of boredom just hitting fortify. Also true, beige is tactical advantage. Well, there are all sorts of inactives and noobs. Yes there are easy picks, but they tend to get overraided, you have to race to take his def slots as soon as he's out of beige, his loot tends to be shit and any decent alliance has him as an applicant if not kicked out yet. Then there are more lucrative and risky inactives and noobs, the kind that go inactive then get back the minute you hit them and do double buy at next update, and the sort of noobs that don't know war well but their alliances fund them well to buy army and wreck our low army brigades. I don't get the WT/WoT reffrence, but I think you meant smurfing? True it's easy money there, but once you jump to next tier, you get destoryed not casue you're bad, but casue your aircrafts/tanks don't have any mods, it takes literal months just to reasearh repair kit, and then next year you're lucky if you get the fire estingisher, while most of enemys in that tier are people who are in same situation for the next tier so they play that tier to grind money. Vicious game. Yes/No. Arrgh deals with "organized" counters, we do get decalred on by alliances that have strong membership in our range, but thanks to massive counters by everyone ever in game we feel less brunt of it since we do get our slots taken as soon as they are available. And this part is mainly for myself, but I do enjoy winning hard wars, and I recked more than one competent coutner on me, simply by letting them get too comfortable with 10 ships that you assumed were safe, keep them on low-ish resitance while they focus all their maps on aircrafts that bomb my worthless infra, and then get 20 mil by beiging some inactive from one of major alliances with good wc/alliance loot, rebuild my citys to 700ish infra, and then utilize my 3 docks per city by buying 30 ships, hours after update when most of american players are sleeping and absolutely wrecking them. And true profit is the goal of raids, but being and old, proud warrior, I do enjoy war, and I don't shy away from spending my money on luxury called winning wars. I blew most of my wc and profits fighting uphill battles, and it was worth every mil i spent on it. And during the global I acted as a mercenary for The Inqusition, I fought Mensa mainly, and I'd done much more damage if I wasn't countered by Vanek twice or trice, those downdeclares got me good. Also I fought t$ and TKR a bit, and had relevent role in spearheading and assault agaisnt Woot wich got him down for a while. Overall I joined late and I took me time to get accostumed to strategys being utilliezed on global scale, but I was one hell of a meatshield if I say so myself. Oh and there was that whole part where CS started attacking me for utillizing their inactives better than they, or even t$ could. Apparently beiging their inactive while stopping a member of opposing side to do the same and using all those resources for war effort against their enemy instead of that enemy using their own resources agaisnt them is bad? But yeah in general our tactics are best suited for raiding and minimizing the damages while maximazing the profits, aye, but also sheer amount of wars and experience is not only trait that we have, it's adaptivity, in general our members adapt to changes and situations faster than others, esspecially us older ones who's been through good and bad times, and trough all them updates. The reason we excel is precisly our steadfast will and ability to adapt. Meh, why not both True it forces me to choose and that's one issue I have with it. But mostly it's about closing yet another venue us at Arrgh have adapted as our own. And now we'll lose players again, we'll get bucn of new green ones, and we'll have to adapt to new mehanics yet again. The entire point of war is to have winners and losers, and fortify in its current state makes it impossible to win wars against people who are active and don't mind losing infra. With the planned infrastructure cost reductions, fortify would have become even more OP than it already is if Alex didn't change it to make it less effective. No offense to you and your wonderful alliance, but we're not gonna hold off changes that are beneficial to the game as a whole just to satisfy a bunch of pirates.

Hmmm, it's almost as if fortify is a feature of the game as well. Difficult to feel bad for all the fools (e.g. you) that complain about our raids when literally all you have to do to prevent them is fortify yourself. I guess it's easier to whine though. Overall, a necessary update to fortify that has been coming for a while.

How is this bad for you? They nerfed fortify to make it easier for you to steal shit, and now infra is cheaper for your little shit nations so that you can get to the pop cap for military easier if you need to do some real fighting? If anything the people that should be complaining are the people on losing sides of war, because its now more difficult to do damage and still protect your stuff if you are losing.

Don't worry about it man, people complain that you screw over new nations, then complain when you do something to benefit new nations. Some people will complain regardless because they like complaining too much. I see it in every game I play. I like this update.

Let's just create some cartels already and start the trade wars.

It's a shitshow and a disgrace. Sessions is literally the only productive person in Trump's administration. Whether or not you agree with him, Sessions has ramped up deportations, civil-asset forfeiture, and crackdown on weed. He actually gets things done, unlike any other Trump cabinet position [with the exception of defense] and Trump himself. Now he wants to troll Sessions into leaving. Does anyone dispute how much of a dumbshit move that is? Between Reince and Muchy, I bet 1000 tons of steel that Muchy is going to come out on top. Muchy looks like he spends a lot more time on his knees than Reince did and Reince is going to pay for not working on his lingual skills.
