The Most important alliance in the war.
This'll surprise you, actually. It wasn't Guardian or SK, even though they declared. Nor was it VE, tS or UPN. It was Dutch East India Company.
Why? Well, thats because they had they ever attacked the war would be complete different.
They had a chance to hit tS and BK before they declared on Guardian and Co. Had they done this, then VE would still be getting rolled today. tS and BK would have been all but eliminated, UPN and BoC would never have gotten into the war. TEst wouldn't have needed to hit SK to save its pixels and would have rolled VE with Guardian and SK, and lastly, Rose would never have declared because then they'd be again The Covenant, which they would have never been able to beat.
DEIC had the biggest role to play of them all. Instead of backing their ally, they chose to sit it out and allow SK and Guardian to get rolled. Which is a disgrace, if you ask me. I have a hard time believing either would do that to you.
By choosing not to defend SK and Guardian, you save your pixels. But pixels are meant to be burned. You've showed everyone you're not willing to defend your allies, and this will cost you. You've already shown you're not willing to live up to what you promised. I bring you back to Orange Black Lagoon. A small alliance, run by Jem and a few of his friends. Jem, a loyal member for a long time, went off to start his own alliance. Asked you to protect it, which you did. But when it came time to actually protect it, you deferred to the raiders and allowed them to steal his money and resources, refusing to let your pixels be harmed.
You had a chance to turn the tide of the war, you chose to save your pixels, but what you saved in numbers you'll lose in credibility. I hope it was worth it.
