What I Have Learned From Creating Two Alliances
In the past, I have created two alliances, one strongly disliked, and one mostly unknown to Orbis. I am now going to share what I have learned about creating alliances.
What I Learned from The German Reich
1. Don't give bank access to random members, you will be robbed.
2. Set raiding guidelines, for otherwise chaos will ensue.
3. An alliance built on anarchist principles will grow extremely fast, but will always be teetering on the edge of destruction, which is how The German Reich fell.
4. Get a protectorate. When I first created The German Reich, I was raided repeatedly because I was virtually defenseless.
5. Accept defeat. When I tried to save TGR by implementing raiding policies and enforcing them, it was already too late, and we were hated.
What I Learned from The Akavir Empire
1. Alliances with order may not grow fast, but they tend to lead to better foreign relations.
2. Don't give power to random members just because you are small. They will expect to stay in their position and will be offended when you demote them.
3. An IRC channel is vital to inter alliance communication.
4. Don't let yourself be ordered around by outside forces. They will eventually ask you to give up your power.
Well, that's all I could think of right now, thanks for reading.
